"Da-Sid-sensei?" you said nervously.

"Oh, you don't have a partner do you ________?" he said.

You shook your head, "Am I going to be sent home?"

"No no! We don't do that!" he said, smiling. "You'll just stay until you do find a partner! Don't worry, we won't send you home ________."

You nodded and said, "I'll just hang out on the steps for a little bit....Are you going to be home for dinner?"

"Maybe, it depends if there are any missions tonight."

"Is Black☆Star going to....?"

"No...He's not..."

"Oh....Ok...." you said. You smiled at Sid and grabbed your bag, walking outside.

Black☆Star was your adopted brother/father. Technically, Black☆Star was your father but you called Sid-sensei your dad. He found you when he was five, in the garden in Germany. Sid had taken Black☆Star with him on a mission to spy on the witch Baba Yaga. You were abandoned by your parents when you were three. Black☆Star took you in and raised you with Sid. You knew it was wrong but you had quite a crush on the assassin.

"________!" called the blue-haired boy. You blushed as he grinned, "So! Who's the lucky meister?"

You smiled sadly, "Actually....There weren't that many meisters there....One too few and...."

"What?! Those bastards! Don't worry _______! I'm going to find you the best meister ever!"

"U-Uh B-Black-"

"Don't wait up _______!"

The assassin ran off, leaving you alone and confused.

You let out a breath and opened the door to the bathroom. Steam flooded the hall.

"Dad! We're out of conditioner!"

There was silence.

"Dad! Are you in here?" you called.

You sighed, you thought you had heard someone enter the apartment.

"My hearing must be going..."

You walked into your room and threw the towel in front of the closed door. You pulled your racer back tank over your damp chest.

Creak.

You jumped and turned around. There was no one there. Your door was slightly open though. You shut it and continued dressing yourself.

A clothed hand covered your mouth. You screamed and tried to change into your weapon form but you felt yourself go limp. You fell back into the muscular arms of your attacker.

"________! Wake up!" said a distorted voice.

"Five more minutes Dad..." you muttered, hugging the pillow in your grip closer.

"It's been a while since you've called me that ________."

Your eyes shot open at your last memories. You moved back and fell off the bed. You were in a large warehouse. Nails were pointing straight up out of the ground surrounding you. You heard the sound of waves and could hear motors running. The smell of salt hitting your nose.

"Haha! Sorry _______! I should have warned you!" grinned Black☆Star.

"What are we doing here _______?"

"I kidnapped you!" he smiled.

"Wh-What?!"

"Well, after I killed Tsubaki, I needed a new weapon! So I went to talk to Sid about it and he said it wasn't healthy to have family members to work together! He stood in my way so you have to understand why I killed him too!" Black☆Star's eyes were filled with joy.

"You....You killed Dad?" your eyes watered, "You monster!"

The joy fled from his eyes, replaced with shock, "Wh-What?"

"YOU KILLED DAD! YOUR ONLY FAMILY MEMBER! MY ONLY PARENT!"

"No! I have you! We can make things work ou-"

"I don't ever want to look at you again!" you spat. Rage bubbled inside you.

"Damn you Black☆Star! Damn you! I hope they find out it was you! I know they will! You can't keep me here forever ya know!" you yelled as Black☆Star backed away, realization hitting him about what he had done.

"No....I thought you would be happy...."

"Happy?! Do I look happy?!" you screamed.

"B-But I..."

"I can't believe it....I can't believe I ever had a crush on you!"

Black☆Star blushed, "You had a crush on me?"

"Don't pretend there's nothing wrong!" you cried. Black☆Star had the most wicked smile on his face. It chilled you to the bone. He turned around and jumped a ridiculous length to the safe part of the warehouse.

"Where the fuck are you-?"

You were cut off when you heard Black☆Star muttering.

"She said she liked me....She liked me....Ha...."

"B-Black☆Star?"

He smiled, "I'm coming back ________. Don't worry! I'll be the best partner ever! I'll be your shining star!"
