"Hey 'Low- wow" Rory commented

"What? Is my skirt uneven?" I panicked

"No, you look really good!"

"Oh, thanks" I feel bad because I haven't told him about Jesse being back but for good reason, I didn't want him to get included and maybe get hurt, I cared too much to let that happen.

"Then it's time to kick some butt" Oh for god's sake Ethan

"Who's butt?" Rory questioned

"What are you wearing!?" Benny exclaimed, luckily changing the subject, in a harsh way though

"We're supposed to dress up and you guys said you're wearing suits!"

"Not spacesuits Rory!" Ethan chuckled

"You're just upset because you didn't think of it" He defended, walking away

"Bye then?"

"Dela's looking this way!" Benny blurted out

"And it's Sarah, Jesse's here" Ethan reminded

"What, no! What about Dela!?"

"Forget it, we gotta go kill my brother...again"

"Grab the bag" Ethan demanded

"Before we go, I gotta go!"

"There's no time!" we exclaimed

"Why'd I drink so much punch!?" Benny whined

"I was worried you might not show" I heard Jesse say, so hushed it was like a whisper, I was hoping he couldn't hear my heartbeat racing, considering I was only standing round the corner.

"Wouldn't miss it" Sarah commented

"Jesse, come on, there's a smorgasbord of freshman in there!" Erica exclaimed, Jesse was her date? Are you being serious!? "Sarah, what are you doing here?"

"What we need to do, don't try and stop us"

"Who's us?" he questioned, that's our cue. Benny hopped out of the locker surprisingly easily, Ethan climbed from an empty bin as I walked round the corner slowly.

"Same us, that killed you last time" Ethan snapped

Jesse's eyes were glowing, his fangs already out, something was wrong, "Good, you got my invitation"

"You knew I would bring them?" Shit.

"Of course and you're not the only one who brought friends"

Two of Jesse's surviving clan appeared from the sides of us, hissing in defense.

"Too weak to fight your own battles huh? Lame"

"If you wanna raise the stakes, fine, we can do that, bro" I mocked his words of 'dearest sister' now raising a wooden stake to the heart of the vampire standing next to me.

The other tried to attack Benny but he had a holy water balloon in hand, the second it touched the guy's skin, he was deader than undead. Sarah tried to take on Jesse which ended in Erica now protecting him, great just what we needed.

"Erica, what are you doing!" Sarah struggled

"We had a special chat earlier" Jesse smirked, "Erica hold onto her"

"Yes, I'll hold onto her" the girl deadpanned

"You put her in a trance!?" I exclaimed

"He's not as weak as we thought" Sarah added

"Get him!" Ethan demanded, Benny began to speak in Latin, just weirdly slow.

Jesse took the slowness of his spell-casting to his own advantage, he raced to Benny, grabbing his throat, "Got something else to say?"

"I have to use the bathroom" Benny croaked, all we then saw was Jesse throw him in the bathroom, leaving him on the floor, most likely injured

"Ethan use the sun ray thing!" I insisted

"Willow, help!" Sarah urged

"Erica, listen to me this isn't you!" I yelled, if only I could remember how to use trances correctly

"Jesse has you charmed, we have to stop hi-" Erica's hand forced itself around Sarah's neck, the hold getting tighter and tighter by the second.

"Shut. Up" She grumbled

"We're your friends, look into my eyes please!" Sarah begged, Erica's teeth grew wider as a smile appeared across her face. However, it didn't last long as Sarah headbutted her, knocking her out of Jesse's charm.

"Ow!" she groaned, "What the heck? What's going on!?"

"Jesse, trance, trying to kill us, quick, Ethan, let's go!" I rushed my words in desperation to go help the boy, no offense but he had no chance against my brother.

"Let him go" I insisted, eyes glowing

"I don't care how cute I thought you were, nobody puts me in a trance!" Erica snapped

"Why do you even care about this meat, in five hundred years you won't even remember its name" he grumbled, "Come with me and be what you're meant to be, especially you Willow"

"Get it through your tiny bat brain, if you hurt one of my friends, I will make you regret it even if it takes a thousnad years!" I hissed

"And I will never, ever be one of you!" Sarah added

"We'll see!" he yelled

third person pov

"Oh god" Benny groaned

"Benny? You ok?" Rory questioned

"What are you doing here?"

"It's a bathroom?"

"Look, no time to explain, Jesse's trying to kill us all, help me up and we can defeat him...together?" he begged

"Yeah!" Rory exclaimed, helping the boy up, "Where are they?"

"Round the corner, come on!"

Jesse lifted Ethan's tux arm up, revealing bare skin, it wasn't long before his fangs were digging in, taking blood almost immediately.

"Ethan!" Benny called out

"Now, either you become one of us or he does, your choice. See you soon"

"Ethan!" Sarah cried out

"No" he croaked out. Sarah didn't hesitate, no matter how much she wanted to be 'normal', she didn't for one moment think twice. She bit him.

"What's she doing?" Rory inquired

"Saving him" I mumbled

"Sarah..." Ethan groaned, his eyes shutting slowly.

"He'll be okay, right?" Sarah asked, she felt guilty clearly but she was a hero.

"Ethan's a rock! When we were both sick with the pig flu, I was puking for lik-" Rory stopped as Erica hit him in the side, a hint to shut up, "Ow. Well welcome to Team V Sarah, it might not be awesome at first but after a few decades or so-" Erica hit him once more, harder this time, "Ow!"

Erica slung her arm around Sarah's shoulders in reassurance, "So, I guess we'll really be best friends...forever now."

"And us!" I joked, "Hope you guys have fun at the after-party, gotta go home and deal with this"

"Have fun" Erica chuckled

"Haha, funny. Night guys"

"Night 'Low" Rory smiled. If only it could always be this peaceful.

I was dreading going home, obviously Jesse would be there, without a doubt. Just need to breathe and stay calm and not kill him, that'd be good.

"Willow?" I heard Ash call out

"Yes, it's me, let's get this over with-" I stopped in my steps as I looked at the kitchen table, my parents. What the actual hell were my parents doing here?

"Hunny" My mother began

"No, nope, not doing this, no!"

"Just sit down!" Jesse urged

"No! I've had it with you!" I snapped, "You come back from the dead and immediately cause chaos, who are you? Micheal fucking Myers!?"

"Language Wilhelmina! My father yelled

"You know that's not my name"

"It is the name we gave you when you were born and it's the name we will call you until you die, now sit!"

It was silent for a few moments until I sat down, arms crossed.

"God you're such a child" Mother rolled her eyes

"Oh my god" I sighed

"Look, stop bickering, we need this to be civil"

"What's civil about this Dad? Jesse ruined a girl's life tonight just for his own pleasure, he's a devil straight from the pits of hell!"

Jesse hissed in defense, I didn't wait to retaliate.

"ENOUGH!" Mother yelled, "Willhe- Willow, you're staying with us for a few months, we know you're school is on its break and-"

"And I'm guessing I don't have a choice in this?"

"Your bags are already packed" she sighed

"Do I have time to say goodbye, at least give me that!" My eyes were now welling with tears, my voice wavering on every syllable.

"You have half an hour"

"Come on Ror, pick up, pick up" I was racing around my room constantly, I didn't have enough time to say goodbye to everyone so I chose him, I needed to speak to him.

"'Low?" his voice was hushed

"Can you meet me at our spot, like soon, sorry if I'm interrupting the party but-"

"I'll be there in 5"

Guess this is it, the last time, for a long time.

"Hey" I began as he sat down next to me

"What's wrong? Your eyes are puffy, have you been crying?"

"Look, I only have half an hour, my parents want to take me and Jesse on a trip of some sort of bond as a family, I didn't have a choice to refuse."

"Meaning?"

"Meaning...I'm leaving for the next few months, whilst school is on break"

"Oh" he whispered

"Yeah, oh"

"How about this... we meet here, this exact spot, first day you get back and even though you probably won't be able to reply, I'll text you everyday"

"Really?"

"Really. I'm gonna miss you Willow"

"I'm gonna miss you too, Batman"

We sat there, staring into each other's eyes but it wasn't awkward or creepy, it was nice, like we could've stayed there forever.

"I really want to kiss you right now" he whispered

"Do it then" I couldn't afford to chicken out, this might be my last chance to actually like someone, properly. I felt his hand reach up to my cheek, so soft it felt like a whisper and then suddenly, it happened. I felt our smiles grow against one anothers yet even though it didn't last too long, it felt like forever.

We pulled away, flushed cheeks and stupid grins on our faces, god it felt like a dream, "I'll see you soon?" he smiled

"Soon"

If only that soon came quicker.
