3 Months Later...

Alex's POV

Well it's been 3 months since I found out I was pregnant and not much has happened in Gotham. Joker and Harvey are in Arkham with the other criminals, well today Bruce and I are going to find out what gender our baby is. Bruce wants a girl whereas I want a boy, I phoned Adrian again and he has booked me in for an ultrasound.

Skip Car Ride

We arrived at the hospital for 10:30am our appointment is at 10:45am so I have fifteen minutes to get prepared to find out the gender. Bruce and I want to know so we can set up the nursery with the right colours, we reached room 312 and the memories flooded back of when I first found out. My hand went to my small bump that had formed, I was wearing Bruce's shirt and my leggings. I knocked on the door and waited for Adrian's reply "come in Alex and Bruce" we entered and saw the bed in the corner "Alex go lay on the bed with your shirt raised where your bump first starts" I done as I was told and started drawing patterns on my bump making me laugh to myself "what are you laughing at?" Bruce questioned "I'm drawing patterns on the bump and it's making me laugh" Adrian came over with the equipment and set it up "warning the gel is cold" he squeezed some onto the bump and I squealed at the coldness "its cold" I giggled "no duh" Bruce was sarcastic today and I loved it "here we go say hello to your healthy baby..."

"Boy" I laughed in delight and looked at my child "hello Thomas Alfred Wayne" I greeted him and smiled my little boy "hold on a second I'll be right back" worry settled in my stomach as another doctor entered the room "I'm Sally a midwife here let me have a look at baby quickly" I nodded scared. I looked over at Bruce who's smile had disappeared and his face was void of any emotion "well Alex and Bruce we thought we saw another child and we are..."
