Alex's POV

We reached my home and grabbed everything "you wanna keep this?" Bruce showed me a picture of Jonathan,my parents and me. I nodded "I need to go see him and tell him about his niece or nephew" I glanced at Bruce who looked shocked "he's still my family Bruce! he has a right to know" he only shook his head "don't tell him until we are sure it's safe" he spoke "of course" after packing up everything Bruce got into his car and I got into mine.

We reached the penthouse and parked in the garage. Grabbing a suitcase each we went to the lift and got inside where Bruce grabbed my hands "be mine again?" I kissed him as confirmation we broke the kiss and waited until we reached the penthouse. When the lift stopped I noticed Alfred had his back to us "peek a boo!" I spoke loudly. Alfred jumped and turned around with a smile "Alex! it's good to see you again" I nodded "it's time to tell him Bruce" I looked at Alfred who seemed confused "well the reason I used peek a boo is because in 9 months or less we will be playing peek a boo with a little Wayne" I said and looked up and Bruce who was smiling proudly whereas Alfred looked stunned then cheerful "congratulations Alex and Master Wayne!" I smiled at my new family "oh Alfred call me Bruce as this child is now Master Wayne" I was proud. I'm gonna be a mum and Bruce is going to be a dad, I'm going to have a child and a family "oh Bruce and Alex I'm gonna have to move out" I shook my head "no Alfred you're family. You raised Bruce after the accident with his parents. You're this child's grandfather" now Alfred's facial expression changed he turned tearful and let one slip "Bruce I would keep this one she's better than Selina" what the fuck? "You and Selina Kyle aka Catwoman!?" He looked scared "yes only once and I have you and only you. Now this child is our child and I love you more than anything" I smiled "I love you too"

A Week Later....

Across town the new DA of Gotham was Harvey Dent and he and Bruce had never seen eye to eye but he was out for revenge after Bruce took everything from him years ago. Bruce took his one true love Rachel and Joker had killed her leaving Harvey to deal with her death himself. Now Harvey's back and Bruce is throwing a party in his honour not realising Harvey has a plan to ruin his life.

"Alex we have to get ready" Bruce mumbled into my bare shoulder "no wait ready for what?" I asked curious "Harvey Dents party ring any bells" I groaned "but I'm pregnant" I used in my defence "will it look good if I turn up without my girlfriend?" I shook my head "time to get ready party starts in an hour" dragging the sheets with me to cover my naked body I got up and Bruce shivered "it's cold you know!?" He asked sarcastically "you shouldn't make a pregnant woman get up" I shot back. After having a shower I changed into a gold dress with goldish heels and my hair in a bun with curls. I sat on the bed thinking of baby names when Bruce appeared wearing a black suit with a gold tie "hey we match colours" he smirked "I know" I was debating on telling him the name I was thinking of "hey Bruce" he hummed to show he was listening "if the baby is a boy can we call him Thomas Alfred Wayne?" I watched as Bruce beamed with happiness "yes but what about a girl?" I was one step ahead "Martha Louise Wayne" he was in awe "I love them" he offered his hand and I accepted we walked out of the room holding hands which shocked some of the guests who were at his birthday party. I heard then whispering and muttering about Bruce and I, the lift doors opened and Harvey was stood there with the Joker holding a gun pointed at Bruce. My first instinct was to hold my stomach which I did "ah hello doll" I flinched at the name Harvey pointed his gun at Bruce and Joker had his gun pointed at me "I don't like guns so I'm using my knife" he ran forward and pushed Bruce and grabbed me and held the knife to my mouth "don't do this J" I said calmly "why not doll?" I froze then kicked him in between the legs "you got fire. I like fire. Harvey shoot the window!" A gun shot rang out and he held me out of the window "bring her in Joker. Let all these people go especially her" Batmans gruff voice came from no where "the police are coming so you may want to make a run" the Joker let me go and I realised I was on glass that was cracking under my heels "stay there Alex!" I froze "my heels are breaking the glass underneath me!" Bruce took off his mask as everyone had left and held his hand out. I didn't hesitate I grabbed it just as the glass smashed underneath me, Bruce pulled me up and kissed me passionately "I thought I had lost you" he spoke once we had pulled away "how did you get your suit on so quick?" I questioned "there's gas in the lift that knocked Harvey out and I slipped away just in time" I smiled "let's not do anything for the next few months"
