Alex's POV

We arrived at the manor and I had decided to go and get ready for lunch. I had a shower and washed my hair, shaved all body hair and finally got out. I curled my hair and slipped my dress on with the heels, glancing at the time I noticed it was 11:45 "Bruce what time is the table booked for?" I shouted. "Twelve fifteen" he shouted back, looking at myself once more I walked downstairs "are we ready to go?" Bruce spun around and his jaw dropped "hello gorgeous" I blushed and hid my face in his shoulder. We climbed into the Lamborghini and headed for the restaurant. The car ride was boring but we made conversation "Bruce I'm gonna quit at the Asylum" he glanced and smiled "good it's causing fear and worry in you" I smiled at how he worries over me and we met a week ago "oh did you get my stuff from Jonathan's?" I asked curious "yes and I must say I like the red bra" I blushed again "you raided my drawers!?" I shrieked. He nodded "well if you wanted to be underwear-less that would be fine with me" I stifled a laugh "stop it I'm embarrassed" we arrived at the restaurant and the paparazzi swarmed like flies "ignore them and keep your head down" I nodded and climbed out the car and Bruce grabbed my hand "BRUCE is that your girlfriend!?" One shouted, we reached the doors and he opened them "we have to tell them" he nodded "I know but for now let's forget about them" we found out table and sat down I ordered pasta and sauce whereas Bruce ordered spaghetti bolognese. We Finished our meal, Bruce and I argued over the bill and I ended up paying half and half, we went outside and Bruce pulled me in for a kiss. "What about them?" I whispered "let them see" he then kissed me and I kissed back, flashes went off like crazy, we pulled apart and walked towards his car. "Bruce is she another Rachel!?" One asked and Bruce visibly tensed "Will she end up like Rachel!?" Another was thrown I decided to speak up "Alright let's get this clear! Yes I am Bruce's new girlfriend and no I won't be another Rachel. He lost his best friend to Joker give him some space. In other words leave us alone!" Bruce gave me a thankful look "Bruce does she know about yours and Rachel's relationship" I froze he dated his dead friend and he never told me. I travelled to the car and we drove back to the manor in silence.

Upon arriving at the manor I climbed out the car and walked up to the door pushing it open "hello Alfred hope you had a lovely day" I greeted "please don't interrupt me anymore today I wish to be alone" I walked up to a guest room and entered "Alex come back. I was going to tell you. I just didn't know when" excuses. I walked into Bruce's room and grabbed my suitcase and started packing a weeks worth of clothes I looked out of the window to see my Audi outside. My car was finally here! I finished packing and walked outside and down the stairs holding the suitcase, Alfred saw me and looked panicked "Alex where are you going!? Master Wayne is in the cave if you want to see him" I shook my head "tell Bruce to give me some space for a week. I'm sorry Alfred but I'll see you soon. I promise just tell him I love him please" he only nodded and pulled me into a hug "see you soon" I was about to walk out the door when Bruce called my name "Alex please don't leave. I'm sorry I didn't tell you about Rachel but just don't leave I need you. I love you" he dropped the words and guilt swirled in my stomach. I turned around to face him a tear escaping "come here" I ran to Bruce and hugged him "let's go talk upstairs"

We went upstairs and he pulled me into our room. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you about me and Rachel, but she's in the past and you're my future. You and I against the world I don't care what anyone says I love you more than I ever did with Rachel" I smiled and kissed him passionately. Let's just say it turned into something more.
