Plot:The reader is making a bet with Jared and Alana for some money,Alana bets that Evan will ask Zoe out and the reader bets that Zoe would,but Jared bets something else,what would it be?

"You really think he's gonna ask mE out?" I question, Jared staring through his glasses with a snide look.

"Hell yea. I bet double the money that he asks you out instead of Zoe."

"Wanna bEt?"

"You're in bitch." He snicks, smacking money on the table. I roll my eyes and sit back, throwing my own money on the table.

As I see Evan approach, I take my money back and place it in my pocket. I watch Jared do the same as Evan gives me an anxious smile.

"Hey Ev." I chirp in greeting, Alana and Jared doing their own.

"H-Hey. Can I, uhh, talk to you?" Evan asks softly, fidgeting with his sweaty hands. I smile and stand up, trailing behind him. Jared lets out a snide comment and I slap the back of his head as I walk by, causing him to let out a string of curses.

"What's up Ev?" I ask, sitting on the floor of the hall way and patting for Evan to sit down next to me. He hesitates, but sits, pulling his legs to his chest. "Everything ok?"

"Y-Yea. I guess.. I mean-" he tries, trying his best to get out his words. He struggles on a few words as he finally gets out what he wanted to say. "I wanted to know if you would go to prom with me? I would pick you up a few hours before and we could go have dinner, maybe walk a bit and then go. I-I mean if you don't want to-"

"I would love to Evan." I giggle, kissing his forehead and smiling. I stand up holding out my hand for him to grab. He chuckles and grabs it, standing up and placing a kiss on my cheek before giving me a small smile. He backs up and leaves.

I walk back to the table, quickly drop my money one it, and run back to catch up to Evan.
