I walk into the apartment and sigh. Another day, another pay check. That's all I have to live for. I walk into the kitchen and see Charlie making dinner. I smile, he's really the only one that loves me now. Mom died. Dad disowned for being gay. Sister hates you for leaving her alone with dad.

Great life. Right?

No. Except for Charlie.

"Hey, welcome home. I made (F/f) for you. I know you've been stressed. Sit and eat." He tells me as I move my hair out of my face. I sit down as he does and I pick up my fork. (Or spoon if the food needs a spoon) I move the fork around the plate for a couple of minutes and Charlie looks at me.

"You haven't even touched your food yet. Whats going on?" He asks me. I put my fork down and look at him with tear filled eyes.

"I was fired today, Charlie." I say, through the tears. He gapes as I wipe my face.

"Don't worry about it. We can figure It out. Together. OK?" He tells me.

"Yea... OK.." I tell him back.

"Lets make shoes together, OK?"

"OK."
