As I stand in the doorway of her room, I can see the edge standing up on her back. I cringe at the way she looks.

Ridged, tight, tense.

The way she never used to be.

I sigh and close the door, letting her sleep. I turn and see Peggy curled up in a ball on the couch and Angelica sitting with an edge to her slender form.

They look up when I enter the living room and demand to know.

"She's still sleeping... nothing new.." I sigh, pinching the bridge of my nose.

"I'll get better Liza- I promise." Peggy soothes. I sigh again and nod. Days blur into weeks and I see her mood swing never the way it used to. We would be happy one moment and be sobbing the next.

And there was nothing I could do for her, except persuade her to get help.

"Baby?" I murmur into her hair, softly and trying not to get her emotions riled up.

"Hmm?"

"I made you an appointment with a doctor-"

"Why??"

"Because- baby you need help... I know I say that a lot but it's true... I want to help you." I plead to her. She scoffs and pulls away from me.

"I don't need help!"

"Baby yes you do! I'm sorry but yes- you do! You have bipolar disorder and you refuse to get help!"

"No!"

"(Y/n)!"

And she started sobbing the way she never used to.
