A little summary thing: The reader loves the sea and ect and one day finds a washed up merman on the shore (michael) and desides to help him. You can make up the rest from there

Looking over the sea, I breath in the salty air. I can't help but smile at the feeling the ocean gives me.

My toes crunch in the sand as I walk slowly down the shoreline. The tide gently lapping my feet as I stroll. I look up, and see a man passed out into the sand. My eyes widen and I run towards him.

"Holy shit!" I yell, as I run towards the man. I slide into the sand next to him, which is when I notice his legs.

Or at least lack of them. I mutter under my breath in shock at the fact his bottom half is a fish.

I turn him so his head is facing me. I start panicking, soon realizing I don't know if I can do CPR on him because he is a merman. I look around and shove his body back into the water, so his head is fully submerged.

As soon as his mouth and nose enter the water, he gasps awake and shoots up from his flat position.

"H-Holy shit.." I mutter. "I just... I just saved a merman.."

"Holy shit what happened?!" The man screams, making me jump from my state of almost pure terror.

"I-I don't-"

"Did you do this to me?!"

"D-Do what?.."

"Save me!"

"Uhh I guess..?"

"Well... thanks I guess. Last thing I remember was swimming away from-"

"Are you going into a tragic backstory?"

"I guess.. why?"

"Because I want to make sure you're ok."

"I mean I guess I'm fine."

"Awesome." I finish and stand up.

"Wait! Where are you going?!"

"I'm gonna go find you some food. What do mer-people eat?" I ask. "You guys probably don't eat fish right. Is that cannibalism?"

"What??"

"You were washed up on shore for god knows how long and I'm going to get you something to eat! What do you want?!"

"Uhh- I guess I'll have whatever."

"Great. Sushi it is."

"WhAT?!"
