Samuel Seabury x fem! Reader

Samuel has been in love and friends with the reader since 1st grade, but the reader never realized. Then Samuel asks the reader to prom and by the end of the night (with a bit of convincing from King George) he finally  confesses

"How do I look?" I ask Alex, who is sitting on my bed in his own prom outfit. He looks up and smiles his dashing smile, and gives me a thumbs up.

"The dress looks amazing love." He smiles, standing up, fixing my hair a bit as he gets ready to do my makeup.

An hour goes by and he's finally done, which is amazing. Surprisingly, my best friend can do make up better than I can. After he's finished, he stands up, gives me a kiss on both cheeks and runs off to pick up John.

I wait but five minutes and the door bell rings. Smiling to myself, I grab my phone and my small purse, and walk down the stairs.

Opening the door reveals a scared Samuel. He jumps slightly as I open the door, which makes me giggle slightly.

"H-Hey.." he stutters, looking me over in my (f/c) dress and matching makeup.

"Hey to you too. Are you ready?" I giggle and ask him. He nods sheepishly and holds out his arm for me to hold.

We spend the short car ride to the venue for prom, which happened to be a large outdoor area, talking about our day, seeing as prom was a Saturday so we really didn't see each other until just now.

Talking to Sam is so easy, he's a very good listener and I admire him for that. Because of said feelings, I happen to be smiling and blushing under the dark night sky the whole ride.

"We're here!" He chirps, his jumpiness fading into joy. I smile and open the passenger door, but before I can step out Sam meets me and helps me out.

"Thank you kind sir." I giggle as he bows slightly at my words.

Walking arm and arm, we stroll through the gravel path and into the large field that our school rented out and made into a woodland dream.

We spend most of the night dancing, talking, giggling, and smiling. Towards the end of the night, my eyes started getting tired and I couldn't help swaying on my feet.

Sam being Sam noticed such display and walked me over to one of the tables where we could have easy access to food and drinks.

He brought a plate of cake and cookies for us to share, and we spend the rest of the night happily together.

"(Y/n)?"

"Yea Sammy?"

"Can I ask you something?"

"Mmhmm."

"Have you ever felt so happy and so much love towards somebody before that your heart melts every time you see them? Or when you seem them cry it breaks your heart? Or even when they laugh it's like music?"

"Yea.." I sigh. "I'm honestly feeling that way about someone right now.."

"W- wait what?"

"Mmhmm."

"To who??"

"You, you dumb shit!" I giggle, blooping his nose and taking another bite of the chocolate chip cookie in my hand.

"Oh." He sigh in relief. "That makes me so happy."

"I'm so glad."
