"Connor?" I ask quietly, laying on his lap as he plays with my hair. He hums in response, looking down at me and giving me a kind smile.

"What's up love?" He asks. I sit up, and grab his hand. He gives me a worried look and starts to speak, but I interrupt him.

"Do you think Zoe would get upset?"

"What?"

"Do you think Zoe would get upset if she found out about us? Us dating?"

"I-I never really thought about it, but I don't think so." He stutters, causing me to let out a sigh. I curl my legs into my chest and place my chin on my knee. "Does that matter?"

"Yea it matters!" I let out, slightly angrier than I intended. "If Zoe finds out, that means she's gonna have to choose between us, cause you know she gonna flip her shit Connor."

"Why would she have to choose?"

"Because she's told me many times that if we started dating she would drop my like a fucking hot potato." I tell him, my eyes starting to well up. "And if I lose her and you, I'll literally have no one."

"Good thing that's not happening." He says, pulling me closer to him. "Love, if it really comes to that harsh of a situation, I promise I won't leave you."

"Family is more important Connor.." I scoff, making him flinch.

"Not in this case. If Zoe flips her shit about this then something is seriously wrong with her." He tells me, making my tears of sadness disappear and tears of happiness appear in their place.

"You really mean that?" I sniff, making him look down at me.

"Of course I mean it." He smiles, and kisses me forehead.
