"See you tonight?" Heather asks me as we walk out of math together.

"Of course. Thankfully I understand this chapter so we should be good to go!" I chirp happily and slowly walking towards the doors to the hallway.

Sadly, Heather has to go upstairs so she takes the back stairs to the upstairs floor, and I have to go across the school. That means spending time with eachother is quite hard. The only class we have together happens to be math, the one Heather struggles in most.

We say our quick goodbyes and rush off to our next class and hoping the rest of the day goes fast.

Thankfully it does, and before I know it I'm sitting on Heather's bed and Heather is sitting in her rolley desk chair. I quickly take out my notes and my textbook before looking at her. She has her head in her hands and is looking down at her paper, and I can tell she has tears in her eyes. My heart breaks and I stand up from the bed, walking the quick few steps to her desk.

I crouch on her floor and look up at her before placing my hand on her cheek. She fake smiles and sniffs at me before starting to break down. I pull her into my arms as she sobs her eyes out into my chest.

"It's gonna be ok, love. I'm here to help you. I never leave you." I promise to her.

"I-I just don't understand!" She sobs, her voice thick and tired. "It's so frustrating!"

"I know love. It's going to be ok. How about this, get out your other notebook and I'll explain this to you, ok?" I practically plead with her. She sniffs and nods slightly. She steps from my lap to her desk drawer on the other side and grabs her small pencil pouch and sits in front of me.

We spend the next couple hours going over and re-going over the notes and making sure she knows what she's going for the homework. Around 8 o'clock she finally understands, and I feel pride swell up in my chest as she finishes a problem all by herself.

"Good job!" I squeal tiredly and clap my hands. Standing up and helping her to her feet, I walk over to my things and get ready to leave. I gives her a hug as we have one final small conversation before I say my goodbye.

But before I can step one foot out of her room she twists my arm and pulls me around and smashes her lips to mine. My eyes widen then quickly flutter shut, causing my stomach to spark butterflies. She pulls away after needing breath, and looks me in the eyes.

"Please don't leave."

"I'll never leave."
