"Bloody hell what took you so long." She said as she saw Gally run up to her with two other boys.

"Had a slight problem." Gally replied. "But we need you to get someone."

"Who?" She raised an eyebrow.

"Her name is Teresa, she has long brown wavy hair, a couple inches taller than you and should be close with Ava Paige." One of the boys informed.

"Oh, I know her." Y/n frowned. "But she left when I left, she is probably already at the train station."

"Can you get us there?" The other boy asked.

"Totally." Y/n smirked.

"I missed you." Y/n wrapped her arms around Gally's torso while they waited for Thomas to lure Teresa to them. "I saw him."

"Minho?" Gally looked down at the girl.

"Yeah, he attacked Teresa the other day and got moved towards my section, I've been keeping an eye on him, he knows you boys are coming." Y/n replied.

"And your friend, he has the flare." She said in a whisper looking at Newt who was on the wall opposite of them. "I see the symptoms."

"Do you have a cure?" Gally asked.

"Yeah, there's one in my bag, when we return back to base, I can give it to him." Y/n gave a reassuring smile.

"So how long have you known Gally?" Newt asked as Gally interrogated Teresa while Y/n was prepping Newt for the cure.

"I had been working for WCKD my entire life, but once Gally got sent off into the maze I went against them and met Lawrence outside the walls. I had became a double agent and smuggled cures past the walls." Y/n replied. "You know the both of us used to be best friends, doing everything together before you left, I guess once you both left, I couldn't stand watching you two and rebelled."

"I don't remember you." Newt frowned.

"It's not your fault, once I give you this, your past memories will come back to you." Y/n said. She transferred the cure from the vial to a needle and stuck it into Newt's arm. She watched his purple-almost black- veins return to its true colors and his fingers returning to his skin tone.

"Bloody hell." Newt cursed.

"What did you do!" Teresa looked at the two.

"Don't look at them. Why are you looking at them. Look at me, they're not gonna help you." Gally said sternly bringing a car forward and sitting right in front of her. "You know, we really don't need you. Y/n can get us into WCKD, she knows where Minho is and just gave Newt the cure."

"Why?" Teresa looked at Y/n. "WCKD is helping people."

"By wiping out an entire generation." Y/n rebutted. "Don't you remember before the boys left the maze, you and Thomas were close as Gally and I are and now look at you, you think your helping people just so all the 1st class people can get cured."

"We found a cure." Teresa urged.

"Out of Minho, Thomas and Newt's best friend. We were best friends Teresa, if I had a cure, would you give me up?" Y/n raised an eyebrow.

Teresa didn't answer, she just looked at her best friend, well now ex-best friend and knew her answer. "You disgust me."

"Quite a show you put on there." Y/n looked at Thomas, Newt and Minho who just jumped out of a window. "Now, let's get out of here."

"Wait, I need to do something." Thomas ran back into WCKD.

"Is he this stupid?" Y/n asked.

"Yes." All three boys replied.

The four of them were able to find Brenda and Jorge who flew one of WCKD's spacecrafts and flew through the burning town trying to find Thomas.

"There he is." Brenda said to Jorge. He lowered down to the platform where Thomas and Teresa were. Y/n watched Teresa fall off the building. Even in there last moments together, they really weren't friends anymore, but Teresa was her best friend.

"Hey, it's alright." Gally wrapped his arms around her. "We're safe now, we're free." He kissed the top of her head.

"We're safe, we're free." Y/n repeated his words, focusing on her breathing.

"I never thought we could be here." Y/n said to Gally as the couple walked along the beach.

"You helped so many people, you saved Newt and rescued Minho, you deserve it." Gally replied.

"Do you think it was wrong that I didn't do anything to you guys for three years while you were in the maze?" Y/n looked at the ocean.

"Hey." Gally released her hand and cupped her face and turned her head towards him. "I remember you would always follow the rules, never stepping a toe out of line, I know you think doing nothing was wrong but in the end you saved so many people."

"I did." She said looking down at the sand.

"And know look, we're in the safe haven, away from WCKD, they're gone, it's just you and me now." Gally cupped her jaw and lifted it to have her look at him again.

"You and me." Y/n smiled getting her tip toes and wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Holy shuck." Minho yelled a few feet away with Thomas, Newt, Frypan and Brenda smirking.

"Are we interrupting?" Frypan asked.

"No, we were just...talking." Gally tried to come up with an excuse.

"Yes you were, I'm trying to kiss my boyfriend." Y/n looked at them and turned back to Gally resuming their moment, she pressed his lips against his and Gally kissed back immediately his hands gripping her hips and Y/n playing with his hair at the bottom of his head.

"Gross." Minho gagged.

"Oh stop, they're in love." Brenda smacked his arm. "You wouldn't understand."

"Yes I would." Minho exclaimed.

"Really?" Thomas raised an eyebrow.

"No." Minho sighed.

"Can you guys please stop talking, we're trying to have a moment." Y/n pulled away from Gally resting her head on his chest.

"We're leaving." Newt smiled at Y/n and dragged his friends away.

"I love you." Y/n lifted her head to kiss his collarbone that isn't covered by his shirt.

"I love you too." He kissed the top of her head. They stayed on the beach in comfortable silence watching the sun set, they were safe, they were free.
