summary: Asgard!reader in on the bet between Thor and Loki

***

The three of us sat in the day room of the castle, Thor alone on the armchair, Loki and I on the couch, me perching up on his lap while the three of us pass around a bottle of Asgardian ale.

"There is no way!" Loki exclaimed throwing his hand up in the air, accidentally hitting the back of my head causing me to wince slightly. "Oh, I'm sorry my love." He ran his hand on the back of my head, peppering kisses.

"It's alright." I grabbed one of his hands kissing his knuckles, continuing to play with them while continued the conversation with us and Thor.

"Hogun is the greatest warrior I've met, he has never lost a fight." I looked at Thor. This last week, the Warrior's Three and Thor found a women in Asgard who had incredible warrior skills and had became to train with them.

"Please." Loki drew out. "Hogun is not that amazing as you think love, but your new warrior friend couldn't handle him."

"You must watch them duel." Thor cheered.

"But?" I asked raising an eyebrow. I knew the two princes since before my courtship with Loki, the two loved to prank and bet against each other.

"If Lady Sif wins, which I know she will, you two will travel to Midgard and successfully complete a heist. And if Hogun wins, I will wear one of your dresses for the whole while I go out." Thor persuaded.

Loki and I look at each other, a small glimpse to mischief in our eyes. On Asgard, Prince Loki had been called the God of Mischief, on Vanir, Princess Y/n, trickster. My sisters were my fathers perfect angels who just followed their rules and now are in loveless marriages. The amount of times I have denied a marriage proposal had skyrocketed, father brought me to Asgard hoping he could throw me to Thor, but Loki and I connected the first day I arrived.

"Deal." We said together, departing the day room.

"Warriors Three, Lady Sif." I nodded as I linked arms with Loki, the two of us making our way towards the stands, sitting down at the first row. Sif was a beautiful women, I wasn't going to lie, if I wasn't with Loki, I would be with her.

"You think she's attractive." Loki commented breaking me out of my trance. I looked over at him while he smirked at me.

"Don't look at me like that, you think she is attractive too." I quipped back. The two of us were both very open with our sexuality and there were many times when we went into town and saw someone we both thought was good looking.

"You can do this Hogun!" I cheered as I watched him and Lady Sif make their way up to the battle ring.

It was intense, Hogun did put up a good fight but Sif did win.

"I had my doubts, Lady Sif, but you will make a great warrior." I told her trying to ignore the smirk Thor that was sending me.

"Thank you Princess Y/n." She replied.

"Come along, love." Loki grabbed my hand making way back towards his chambers.

"Don't leave yet!" We turned around to see Thor running towards us. "I won a bet, you two will go to Midgard."

"We are not leaving now!" I lightly smacked his bicep. "We will leave in the morning."

When morning came, Loki was already out of bed when I woke. The door towards his bathroom was open, grabbing my green silk robe, I tied it around myself and walked towards the room. Loki stood by the sink, brushing hair back with gel. I tried to conceal my blush, my eyes looking up and down his body.

"You're staring love." Loki commented not looking at me, laughing.

"I mean who wouldn't." I looked him up and down again, as much he dislike anything Midgard related, he did look good in that suit.

I looked back at our closet, to see a matching dress on one of the hangers.

"We look good." I commented looking at the two of us in the mirror as I applied the highlight to my cheekbones, Loki behind me wrapping him around him, peppering kisses along my neck and shoulder.

"You always look amazing." He praised kissing my cheek.

"We need to leave before we get distracted." I slipped out from him, slipping on a pair of black heels, the two of us making our way to the Bifrost.

"To Midgard." Heimdall said.

"Of course you knew." I chuckled.

Portland, Oregon, 1971

Loki and I walked hand and hand through the airport, a briefcase in his hand. Looking through the sunglasses (which I didn't understand why we were wearing instead, Loki insisted), I could see people looking up at us, as we walked towards the gate. The two of us were able to get through check in and security through alias and now ticketing.

"You two are good to go, enjoy the flight." The flight attendant smiled as us. Loki and I continued on like no deal in the world, taking our seats in the middle of the plane, Loki on the aisle, me in the middle, the briefcase by the window.

I watched Loki lower his sunglasses, looking at the flight attendant who was making her way down the aisle with a cart.

"Can I get anything for the two of you?" She smiled at us.

"I'll have a rum and she'll have a vodka martini." He ordered for the two of us.

"Of course." She pushed her cart towards the back of the plane.

As soon as she left, I watched Loki pull out a slip of paper and pen from his suit jacket, writing a quick message before slipping it back in. The flight attendant returned quick quickly with both of drinks, handing them both to us.

"This is for you love." Loki took out the same paper and slipped it on her tray table. She blushed, starting to make her way to another aisle.

"I would read that now." I called out catching her attention to turn back to us. "We have a bomb." I whispered patting the briefcase next to me. The smile turned into pure shock, as she ran towards the cockpit.

"Hello passengers." We saw her at the front trying not to show fear in her voice. "We have to take an emergency stop at Seattle-Tacoma Airport due to gas. This should take no longer than an hour and we'll be back on our way. So please repair for landing."

We watched as every passenger make their way out of the airplane and seeing two FBI agents make their way onto the plane.

"200 thousand dollars." Was all Loki said. I stayed quiet looking at the two agents through my sunglasses, one arm looped with Loki's and the other drawing random shapes on the top.

"We know the names you two went under were aliases, your real name?" One of the men asked. Neither of us answered, Loki bringing his hand up to his lips, kissing my knuckles. The men continued asking questions for 30 minutes getting no where before the same flight attendant from earlier came back onto the plane with a duffle bag.

"The money." She squeaked handing the bag to one of the agents.

"The money for the bomb." The second one asked. I looked over to Loki, him nodding his head. I grabbed the bomb handing it to the men, securing the money, watching the two of them leave.

"Tell the pilot to take off." Loki looked at the flight attendant.

The two us remained seat until the pilot made his way into the air. Loki getting up first, offering his hand for me as we made our way towards the emergency doors.

"Maybe we'll see you again." Loki lowered his sunglasses giving the flight attendant a quick wink before grabbing the duffle dragging me along.

"Goodbye love." I smiled joining Loki.

"Brother, Heimdall, you better be ready." Loki called out.
