summary: the BAU meets Spencer's wife and daughter (this is going take place around season 9, when Spencer would be around 31)

"Madi, come on sweetheart we're going to be late for daycare!" Y/n yelled from the living room. Next to her was Spencer, tying up his converse. Spencer never got to spend the morning with his wife and daughter so when the opportunity happens, he wastes no second. It's day like this, Y/n would drive to Quantico to drop off Spencer for work then drop off Madi for daycare and then either go to work or run errands.

"I'm ready!" She came running out. Spencer and Y/n looked at their 4 year old who looked like a mini Spencer, a pair of converse, a cute little skirt, a sweater vest and short sleeved collared shirt. "Look daddy, we're matching."

"Yes we are." He smiled picking her spinning her around, making her squeal. "Are you ready for daycare today, Miss Madi?"

"Yes." She giggled when Spencer tickled her stomach.

"Let's go my bugs, we need to drop off daddy first." Y/n looked at her family. The three left the house making their way towards the car, and starting their commute to Quantico.

Spencer watched his wife in adoration as she hummed "Under the Sea" with Madi. He then looked in the rear-view mirror to see Madi singing at the top of her lungs. She had an obsession with the Little Mermaid and would only watch it, so the Reids have memorized almost every song in the movie.

As the song came to an end, Y/n pulled up into the parking lot of the FBI, putting the car in park. "I'll see later." She kissed her husband. "Bug, can you say bye to daddy, and we'll see him later."

"Bye daddy!" She exclaimed kissing his cheek when he made his way towards her sit of the car.

"Bye sweetheart, I'll see you later okay, you have fun." He kissed her forehead and made his way into the building.

The two girls made their way out of Quantico, making way towards Madi's daycare, singing along to Madi's Disney playlist. While Y/n stopped at a stop light, she heard a ding from her phone and popped up on her screen.

Spence <3: Hey babe, I think we switched bags, do you think you can come and trade?

Y/n picked up her phone, quickly responding that her and Madi would be make in 15 minutes and made a U-turn going back towards Quantico.

"Where are we going mommy?" Madi asked her mom.

"Daddy took my bag instead of his, so we have to go back and switch." Y/n answered.

"Does that mean I can skip daycare?" She asked hopefully. As much as she loved daycare, she always liked skipping.

"Yeah, why not. You can hangout with me today." Y/n looked in the rear-view mirror.

Once Y/n made her way back to Quantico, she parked the car, unbuckling Madi from her carseat, grabbing Spencer's bag and the two made their way towards the front desk.

"Hi what can I do for you?" The receptionist smiled.

"My husband took my bag instead of his, and we just need to do a switch." Y/n explained. After getting their visitor badges, the two girls made their way towards the elevator, going on right before the doors closed.

"What floor?" The blonde hair woman asked next to them. She had a few little clips in her hair, her outfit was full of bright colors.

"6." Y/n replied.

"Oh, same floor!" The girl exclaimed.

"I like your outfit." Madi looked up at the girl.

"Why thank you, I like yours too." She complimented. When the elevator dinged, the three left the elevator departing ways. Y/n looked straight through the glass doors and saw Spencer sitting at the desk filling out paperwork. Y/n walked towards the door, opening it up. Immediately Madi left her mom's side running up to Spencer.

"Daddy!" She yelled gathering the attention to the people in the desk next to him. She climbed up in his lap latching herself onto him.

"Hello Miss Madi." He kissed her nose which she wrinkled a bit. "Did you come with mommy?"

"No, I let her drive the car herself." Y/n said sarcastically walking up to them. "But probably with the brain she has, she probably could, just need to get her little leg extensions."

"Don't give her ideas." Spencer laughed. "Thank you for coming back, I wasn't looking when grabbing my bag this morning."

"It's fine, I get to see you again." Y/n leaned forward brushing her lips against his, kissing him.

"Pretty boy, is there something you want to tell us?" Derek looked at the couple in shock. JJ and Alex in the same position as him.

"Oh right." Spencer cleared his throat. "This is my wife Y/n, and our daughter Madi. And that is Derek Morgan, Jennifer Jareau and Alex Blake."

"Hi, I'm Madeline Diana Reid." She walked up to Derek.

"Why hello little lady, I'm Derek." He squatted down giving his hand.

"Germs." She looked down at his hands.

"Jeez, she's a little Reid." Derek tilted his head. "Wait this Garcia sees this?"

"Sees what?" She walked into the bullpen with a stack of files.

"Meet pretty boys wife and daughter." Derek told her. Penelope gasped and sped walk towards them.

"You're the girl with the colorful dress!" Madi exclaimed when she walked over them.

"You already met?" Derek furrowed his eyebrows looking at Penelope.

"We met in the elevator, she told me she liked my outfit." Penelope smiled at the little girl. "Well then, I'm Penelope Garcia, I work with your dad."

"I'm Madeline Diana Reid." Madi introduced.

"Reid, woman next to Reid and mini Reid." David walked down to the bullpen looking at the family.

"Rossi this is Spencer's wife and daughter." Alex explained. Rossi creased his forehead and looked at them.

"Hi, Y/n Reid." Y/n shook his hand.

"Madi Reid." Madi smiled at him keeping her hands behind her back.

"She dresses like Reid, has same social queues, does she have the same brain." He joked.

"Yes." Y/n and Spencer answered.

"What's going on out here?" Aaron walked out of his office.

"Hotch, you got to see this." Derek replied. Aaron walked down into the bullpen and saw two unfamiliar faces. "This is Spencer's wife and daughter."

"I know." Aaron answered furrowing his brows.

"You know!" JJ exclaimed.

"Yeah, I ran into them at the park with Jack, the two played together on the playground." Aaron explained.

"It's too nice to see you again Aaron." Y/n smiled.

"I can't believe you didn't tell me!" Derek shook Spencer shoulders.

"You never really asked." Spencer shrugged.

"Well this sounds like a celebration, you all should come to my house for dinner tonight." Rossi told everyone.

"He lives in a mansion." Spencer whispered to his wife and she gave him an impressed face.

"Can you make mac and cheese?" Madi ran up to him. It was a current food obsession for her, whenever she would go out to eat, she would get mac and cheese. Currently there was about 20 individual cups of mac and cheese in the Reid's cabinet.

"How about you can help me make Grandpa Rossi's, famous macaroni and cheese?" Rossi asked and Madi nodded her head excitingly.

"Mac and cheese!" She screamed and started to run around the bullpen. The BAU looked at her in confusion/shock while Y/n and Spencer seemed unfazed by their daughter's sudden outburst over food.

"She really likes mac and cheese, it's kind of a problem." Spencer told his co-workers and went back to watching his daughter run around the run.

"She got my energy." Y/n explained. "Probably the only trait of mine."

"I can see." Derek tilted his head.

"What kind of toys does she like, barbies, ponies, puppies. I have four years of gifts to make up on." Penelope looked the two.

"She really likes the Little Mermaid." Spencer answered.

"Perfect, perfect!" Penelope explained.

"Oh Penelope, you don't need to do that." Y/n sighed.

"I want to, I really want to." She replied.

"I would just accept, she did the same thing to my son." JJ explained.

"Ok then, yes." Y/n answered.

"Amazing." Penelope squealed wrapping her arms around Y/n giving her a tight hug.
