Chapter 6

(A/N: Katrina's dress for this scene up top. Enjoy the chapter. XxD)

******************************************************************

Katrina wore a blue and gold dress with an auburn wig as she danced amongst the crowd, eyes flitting over the mass of people as she relished in her invisibility.

Though her dress stood out quite a bit, the bright blue a stark contrast to the pale golds, silvers, blacks and whites that most people wore, no one paid attention to her.

With her hair partly covering her face to help hide her from the security cameras, Katrina couldn't help but laugh at Roman's distraction as he spoke through the microphone, music long since silenced as everyone focused on him, more like made fun of whatever rubbish was coming out of his mouth.

She then subtly pressed two fingers to her ear as she accepted a glass of champagne from a passing waiter.

"They're in the building. No visual on Toretto, he's likely already in the vault," she whispered softly before she saw all the suited guards pressing their fingers to their earpieces and begin scrambling. "They're locking it down. I believe that's your cue."

"On the way darling, but feel free to start the party without me," came her husband's melodic voice in her ear and she grinned as she watched Letty fall over the railing with the head of the Jordanian prince's guard, both of them quite injured after that.

"My pleasure," she purred as she threw her glass to the ground and pulled off her wig, shaking out her hair before pulling out the gun from the leg holster hidden under her dress.

People then began screaming as Toretto drove the car Prince's red supercar through the vault doors.

Katrina fired two shots into the air towards the ceiling as the guests began to scream and flee.

She managed to fire a shot that hit Roman's arm before he vanished into the crowd and the elevators dinged as her husband walked out with a SIG rifle, smartly dressed in a black suit with no tie.

Katrina grinned at Brian as she fired at his window, the man flinching as the cars bulletproof structure held, Deckard then firing head-on at the windshield as Toretto revved the engine before gunning it.

Deckard engaged in a fight with two of the guards, Katrina entering in a similar battle that she won easily because the male guards underestimated her capabilities, especially in her attire.

It wasn't anything new to her, but it was certainly new to them when one kick from her heeled foot broke one of their knees. A punch to the throat that broke a windpipe. An elbow to the chest that broke a rib. And a grip on the hand as she twisted and broke the wrist.

As the two guards dropped, cradling their injuries, Katrina turned in time to watch as Toretto hit Deckard with the car, her husband rolling over it and onto the ground, landing in a crouch as he opened fire on them.

She emptied her clip at the car, aiming for the tires that were so thin they were near impossible to hit, even more so when Dom drove it through the wall of glass windows and into the skyscraper next to the one they were currently in.

Deckard then launched a grenade at the car, but if anything, the blast only helped the car make the distance between the two buildings.

"So, Plan B?" Katrina asked as she rested her elbow on her husband's shoulder, gun still in hand as they watched the red car speed around on the floor it'd landed on before crashing out the window and into the third skyscraper.

"Aye, you drive, I'll call Jakande. Third time's a charm getting that damn drive."

He tossed her his keys as they made their way down to his car, hand-in-hand.

Time for Plan B.
