Let's Hang Out Doctor

Binder x Rorschach

"Doctor... Won't you let me out~?"

The man clad in a robe covered in belts leaned over another man with dark blue hair tied in a ponytail, one hand over his that were scraping some notes on a paper, one arm resting over the doctor's shoulder.

"No can do."

The fabric of the doctor's mask moved ever slightly as he spoke, staring right into the other's blindfold that hid his eyes.

"For real? Can't you make an exception just this time please?"

The patient pleaded, getting even more closer to the other with a pout drawn on his lips to convey his unhappiness.

"I can't do that unfortunately." replied the doctor, holding his ground as firmly as ever, "It wouldn't be safe for you, last time I complied you panicked when an owl suddenly approached you. It took me a good hour to bring you back to your room."

Ugh. Sure, seeing an owl here was quite the uncommon event, however, the patient didn't have any reason to panic as the bird only sat on the branch of the tree... which was at the opposite side of where he was in the courtyard.

"It won't happen again I swear-"

He stood up a bit away from the doctor, sounding annoyed at the truthful words of his doctor.

"Still a no." The latter said coldly. "Moreover, don't you always try to escape everytime I bring you out? This is why the other doctors keep a close eye on you and won't decrease your intake of medication."

"Good lord, doctor, you're really too strict."

The patient finally gave up and walked towards his bed in the corner of the room before falling on the covers, chest pressed against the mattress.

"I'm simply doing my job which is taking care of you."

"Still... You could be a bit nicer to me."

"Aren't I coming everyday to see you?"

"That's a lie."

The doctor froze on his chair. There was no reaction from him for a few long seconds before he walked to the patient's side and sat next to him.

"Sorry," he spoke. "I can't do much about it but is there maybe anything that you wish for in exchange for your pardon?"

The patient turned a bit to face the doctor, his lips forming a straight line.

"I just want you to be here with me."

Silence ensued.

"Dr.Desaulniers, you're still watching the patient Clark?"

A man with gray hair and a long white coat stood in front of a door with a sign indicating 'Eli Clark'. There was a small window giving view to the inside of the small room where the patient with the straitjacket could be seen, laying on the bed motionlessly while staring at the ceiling.

"Oh, it's you dean."

An old man slouching over his cane and wearing a hat approached the doctor. He adjusted his monocle before looking the same way as the latter.

"Is his condition still the same?" he asked.

"Yes... He keeps calling Dr.Rorschach and hallucinates seeing him ever since his unfortunate death."

The Rorscharch Doctor. A previous employee at the asylum, rather quiet and not talkative yet he took great care of his patients such as Eli. This place may not be heaven nor hell but to those few patients, Rorscharch was a savior, a friend... sometimes even more.

No one knew the cause of his death but it simply happened from one day to another without any warning and his corpse was found lifeless behind his desk. It was so much of a shock that Eli just couldn't accept it.

He knew his doctor wouldn't step the threshold of his door ever again but he buried this fact deep inside his mind and sealed it.

Rorscharch would never leave him after all.
