Pancakes

Sorry the last chapter was shit. This is more Kiribaku, just because I can.

Bakugo wakes up early, just like every other Saturday, to make breakfast for him and Kirishima. He stops mid-motion just to admire his boyfriend for minutes. He stares down at Kirishima's peaceful face, listening to every breath. He studies Kiri's messy red hair, loving the way it sticks in all directions. Bakugo sneaks more than a few glances down at Kiri's chest and boxers, admiring the redhead's toned torso. (alliteration, thots) He eventually rips his gaze away from Kirishima and drags himself out of bed, thinking over what to make for breakfast.

Unbeknownst to Bakugo, Kirishima was also awake and notices Bakugo's staring. It took everything in him not to blush furiously, though he did it out of curiosity for how long Bakugo was going to look at him. Does he do that every morning? Kirishima thought, liking the idea. He rolled over and crept out of the room. Kirishima was surprisingly stealthy when he wanted to be.

Kirishima watched Bakugo take great pains to make the perfect chocolate chip pancakes. Kirishima wasn't very picky when it came to food, being a terrible cook himself, but Bakugo would have nothing but the best for his boyfriend. Kirishima was more focused on how cute Bakugo looked as he cooked through. He admired Bakugo from afar, watching the blonde as he carefully drizzled syrup on the pancakes.

"EIJRO WAKE UP RIGHT NOW." The quiet peace of the morning was shattered by Bakugo's yelling (as usual), not that Kirishima minded. He was still groggy as he crept from his hiding spot, hugging Bakugo from behind.

"I love you~" Kirishima drawled, swaying back and forth.

"I love you too," There was more affection in Bakugo's voice then anyone else would ever hear. He only sounded this nice with Kirishima, and not when others were present.

They stayed in silence for a few more minutes before Bakugo went to untangle himself. Kirishima used his quirk to entrap him.

"Eij..."

"What?" Kirishima asked sweetly. Bakugo struggled to untangle himself, not wanting to hurt Kirishima or break something with his quirk.

"The pancakes are gonna burn," Bakugo said gruffly, facing Kirishima.

"Okaaaaaay," Kiri pouted.

Bakugo moved to finish the pancakes as Kiri went to set the table. As he lay the silverware out, Kirishima was scheming of ways to force Bakugo to cuddle with him.

A few minutes later, Kirishima and Bakugo where eating pancakes together on the couch, because Kirishima had forced Bakugo to sit with him there for more cuddle potential.

"Pleeeeeease, Katsuki?" Kiri batted his eyelashes, using his 'persuasive powers,' as he called them, to convince Bakugo.

"Fine." Bakugo had said, easily giving in to Kirishima.

"Yay!" Kirishima danced around before pulling Bakugo onto the couch with him.

Now, Kirishima had Bakugo pulled close as they ate and watched TV. Kirishima leaned onto Bakugo, never wanting to leave.

"You are ridiculously comfy,"  Bakugo 'complained.' Leave it to him to phrase a compliment like an insult.

At this, Kirishima pulled Bakugo closer.

                                                                                                  ~-~

After they finished eating and the plates where out of the way, Kirishima quickly straddled Bakugo. Bakugo turned scarlet. Kirishima smiled mischievously down at Bakugo before flopping down on top of him, sighing heavily.

"Hey!" Bakugo protested from under Kirishima.

Kiri pulled a thick blanket over them and gathered Bakugo into his arms. Bakugo eventually gave in and hugged Kirishima, burying his face into the crook of Kiri's neck. Kirishima smiled to himself. 'Success!' he thought to himself, hugging Bakugo tightly. He played with Bakugo's hair, twisting it around his fingers.

"I love you," Bakugo whispered into Kiri's chest, sounding like he wanted to say it thousands of times more.

"I love you too," Kirishima said, nuzzling Bakugo.
