lilac pov 

     i haven't slept in three days. i have a complicated routine which contains studing , studing, studing  and eating only in order to stay alive. i am a university student in the major of medicine which means that i dont have much time in my hands. today ,since its friday, i decided to take the weekend of so i can recharge my batteries.

     i went to my dorm to get my staff so i can go to my parents house for the weekend . they live in a small cotage a little outside of the city. I kept it a surprise of course because i haven't seen them in a month . I love seeing people's faces when i prank them or surprice them. Its always so funny

     while i drive home i sence a black car following me .  A little closer to my house the car takes a turn left whille i continiue straight, but this feeling of being watched didn't go away. I started thinking i was paranoid so i shook the feeling of.... I tried at least.

      After i parked the car i was so exited to see my parents that everithing went away.

     Right as i opend the door i knew something was wrong . The first think that i saw was all the staff off the house were tossed left and right and the furniture were sprend all over the place creating a scaring mess, a mess i knew that it wasnt made from my parents. The second think that i sensed was screems. My parents were arguing. My parents never argued!

     So what was the obviously sain think to do? Of course it was me eavesdropping . And let me tell you if i ever said to my younger self what i heard she would be laughing like her life depends on it.

     " DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU HIDEN?!!!" i heard my father saing.

     "i didn't think it would go that far... i was scared and i didn't want to upset you ... it was years ago" her sadness was visible.

      " YEAH COGRATULATIONS !!!! HOW AM I SUPOSED TO PROTECT HER NOW? HOW AM I SUPOSED TO MAKE SURE LILAC WALKS ANOTHER DAY IN THIS GODAMMED  EARTH?" what was happening i didn't understand" THEY WILL KILL HER . THE ONLY REASON THEY SEND THIS IS TOO MAKE OUR LIFE EVEN HARDER! TO MAKE US PARANOID."

    " But i don't wanna die" i walked trembling into the living room wanting to see whats happening.

    "oh sweetie what are you doing here i thought you had work" my  father said while my mother looked at the floor.

     "DON'T ! Tell me"

     "All i know is that a very dangerous man , the mafia's king, send us a threat directed to your mother that he will take revenge and kill you. So olive do you want to tell your lovely ALIVE daughter what you did?" my mother started crying.

    " Years ago when you where still in kindergarden i... i..i killed the mafia's king son. it was a car accident he ran into the car  and i wasn't quick enough. i thought that maybe if i didn't tell you anything it would just go away. But now ... now he want's to take you from us. I am so so sorry" at this moment she was crying her eyes out.

    " don't look at her like she is dead . i will find a way , a loophole to keep you safe and sound at our side i swear"  my father said with fury wrote all over his face. At that moment i realized that he would do anything in his power to keep me alive. " i am gona go take some air"

   "steve!" my mother screamed but he was already out.

     NO that was the only word running throught my mind .i didn't know what to do to save her. So i gave in and ran at my workplace the castle.

    Yes i work in the castle .I am the guard that protects the royal family. And now the guard that will beg for the protection of his daughter.

    I walk into the throne room and not so in my surprise the king is in here " steveeeeeeeee! My paaaaaal .I missed you." may i also say that he is always drunk which makes my job ten times harder. When he sees the seriousnes in my face he makes himself look like a king " How may i help you?"

      " i need your help to protect my child. The maffia send a message that they will kill her"

      " oh no we don't mess with them! Besides you are a guard yourself i'm sure you can protect her "

      " your majesty focuse! I am only a man .i can't protect both the whole royal family and my lilac. Give an arguement that is actualy logical."

     " Right sorry ...... AHA!"

     " what ?"

    " nothing i just found more wine in the glass... But i gues your daughter can marry my son"

    " My king with all due respect how much did you drink today?"

    " Not enough.... Think about it killing a royal is a realy iligal action they will be scared plus  its a realy good social media story.... THE DAUGHTER OF A SMALL BODYGUART MARRIES THE PRINCE OF ITALI . Its amazing a win win situation" i started laughing my heart out.

    " your majesty you are crazy but this could actualy work"
