Girl In The Flower Dress

(The B.U.S.)

Lyra's POV.

[Lyra's Outfit]

Instead of second morning training, Ward decided that instead of cardio workout, that Battleships is just as good of a S.H.I.E.L.D training exercise. How? I have absolute no idea. And right down I am sitting in the lounge o the couch as I rest my right arm against the back of the couch as I watch Ward and Skye sitting beside a window as they play battleships, and so far Skye is winning as Skye sits closer to my right and Ward sits closer to my left.

"Every decision you make from here on out has consequences. So be warned... The kiddie gloves are off." Ward warns her in a serious tone.

"G-7." Skye smiles, and Ward looks down at his ships only to look at it with a straight face.

"Hit." Ward states.

"Yes! Ha!" Skye says in victory before she picks and places a white pin in her board with her right hand, and Ward picks up a red pin and places it into his board with his right hand.

"So, explain to us again what this has to do with her training?" I ask Ward with a confused smile.

"It's important for every S.O. to evaluate their student's thought process..." Ward explains to me.

"Mm-hmm... And my police S.O. played Ouija board with me." I say sarcastically.

"... And I like board games. B-10." Ward says.

"Nope." Skye smiles, and Ward picks up another red pin and places a red pin into his board with his right hand "This isn't thinking. This is stabbing in the dark, but it's nice to take a break from the workouts." She says to him.

"Well... You deserve a break. I got to give Coulson credit. I would have never pegged an Ex-Rising Tide hacker as a good fit, but... You're picking things up pretty fast." Ward admits, and Skye and myself look at each other in slight surprise.

"Did you just give her a compliment?" I ask him a little shocked.

"I... No, I made a comment." Ward refuses to admit to the compliment giving.

"A kind one. Did it physically hurt to do that? Do you need an ice pack?" Skye laughs lightly, Ward smiles as he holds back a chuckle.

"Wow. A compliment and a smile." I smile at Ward.

"Comment." Ward repeats himself as he forces his smile to fade.

"I don't want to ruin the moment, but I'm gonna have to respond with... G-4." Skye sighs with a small smile, and Ward looks down at his board, only for his face to fall in defeat "Say it, Ward. Say it." She smilingly leans forward in her seat.

"... You sank my battleship." Ward tries to act emotionless, yet secret a poor loser, making Skye and myself laugh.

"Yes!" Skye shouts winningly.

"All right, best 2 out of 3." Ward tells her a he begins to take the pins and ships out of his board.

"I beat you." Skye gloats.

"Best 2 out of 3." Ward repeats as he continues to remove the pins and ships from his board.

"Best-I just won out of nothing." Skye tells him.

"Alright, it's my time to sink your Battleship." I tell Ward as both Skye and myself stand up to switch seats, but a small alarm sounds for us to gather in the briefing room.

"Saved by the bell." Skye says to Ward.

After Ward, myself and Skye teamed up with Coulson, May, Fitz and Simmons in the briefing room, Coulson is explaining to us our new assignment as an I.D. of an Asian man with black hair and Brown eyes comes up on the wall computer.

[Chan Ho Yin]

"Chan Ho Yin... Just a struggling street performer until a few years ago, when Mr. Chan began to exhibit moderate pyro kinetic abilities." Coulson explains to us.

"So what gave him powers?" I ask Coulson, slightly cringing on the inside in incredulousness that I would ever have to ask that.

"It's still under investigation, but Chan did live near the decommissioned Wan Tai nuclear plant when it caught fire. To our knowledge, no other nearby residents have exhibited similar traits." Coulson explains to us.

"So how did we find out about him?" Simmons asks confused.

"Informant saw him lighting torches in a street show... With his pinkie." May explains to us.

"Brought it to S.H.I.E.L.D.'s attention. We told him to keep his abilities under wraps. He's been on the Index ever since." Coulson explains.

"The Index?" Skye asks confused.

"It's a list S.H.I.E.L.D. keeps of people and objects with powers." Simmons explains to Skye and myself.

"Wait. What? How many are there? Are you saying there are more people-" Skye tries to say, but May cuts her off.

"-Not many." May tells us.

"Well, enough to keep a list." Skye states.

"A short list, meant to protect them." Coulson tells her.

"Though, in rare cases, S.H.I.E.L.D. has had to take action." Ward adds.

"Action against objects or people?" I ask them, but none of them answer.

"Well, that's drastic with a side of creepy. How are they monitored... Tapped phones, satellite surveillance, body probes in dark, unpleasant places?" Skye lists networks.

"Body probes? Now, that's ridiculous. S.H.I.E.L.D. doesn't do that. We don't do that. Do we?" Fitz asks Coulson warily.

"The methods vary." Coulson tells us short and simple "Mr. Chan was low-risk. He was assigned a case agent who checked in with him every few days. That's how we discovered him missing." He explains before May taps on the computer table, pulling live feed of what seems to be an apartment filled with C.I.'s searching the place on the computer wall, and an Asain man with grey/ black hair and brown eyes appears in front of the camera.

[Agent Kwan]

"關好你好 你好嗎 [Hello Agent Kwan. How are you] ?" May asks the man in Chinese

"不如我能做的那麼好 [Not as good as I could be] ." The man replies in Chinese.

"Everyone, this is agent Kwan, Chan Ho Yin's case agent. What can you tell us?" May introduces us then asks Kwan.

"Not much, I'm afraid. Chan is a magician, so at first, I thought he'd made himself disappeared." Kwan admits.

"The file says you'd caught him violating his index agreement before." Coulson says to him.

"On two separate occasions... Claimed we were 'hampering his artistic expression'. But late last night, he was taken by professionals. The only thing they left behind was this scrap of aluminized material." Kwan explains as he holds up a sealed plastic evidence bag with a piece of material in it.

"Fireproof clothing." Simmons identifies it.

"So whomever took him knew about his power." I say to Kwan.

"Yes, and we think we know why. Over the last few days, tech division discovered a crack into our data stream. It's the same cyber punks who hacked us before. Somehow, they got in again. It's the Rising Tide." Kwan explains to us, and we all hesitantly look to Skye. She wouldn't do this, she promised me she was done with the whole Rising Tide thing. Skye would neverie to me "Hello? It got real quiet. You guys still there?" He taps on the camera.

After allowing Kwan to go back to work, Coulson has gathered Ward, myself and Skye to clear up the contrevsy between Skye and The Rising Tide Organisation.

"The Rising Tide is a huge organization of hacktivists from all around the world. Any of them could have done this! It wasn't me." Skye defends herself.

"No one's saying it was." Ward says to her.

"But you're thinking it. I can see your faces thinking it." Skye tells us before facing me "You believe me, don't you?" She asks me. She would never lie to me.

"Of course I do." I show her a small smile, and she returns it with one and a light exhale.

"We're assessing the situation." Coulson tells Skye, and she faces him.

"Then I'm sure you're taking into account that I have been living on a plane with you this whole time. It would be impossible for me to hack S.H.I.E.L.D." Skye explains to them.

"Or easier. We're gonna need more than that." Coulson says to her.

"Fine. Let me trace the hack, and I'll prove it." Skye tells her.

"I believe her, Coulson." I tell him.

"Me too, sir." Ward backs me up, and Coulson turns to him "And if she's telling the truth, we need to track down the person responsible." He adds.

"... Dig up something, and fast. The longer Mr. Chan's missing, the more danger he's in." Coulson hesitantly tells Skye.

As May, Ward, Myself, Skye, Fitz and Simmons stand in the briefing room and watch Skye find The Rising Tide Hacker as she types on the computer table, and Coulson steps inside the briefing room.

"How close are we?" Coulson asks Skye.

"Almost there." Skye assure Coulson.

"She's identified the remote-access Trojan and the infected endpoint." Fitz explains to Coulson.

"And is searching for a TCP to correlate the hypertext with signature information and then..." Simmons trails off.

"Voilà" Simmon says the same time Fitz says "Bob is your uncle."

"You get any of that?" Coulson asks May, myself and Ward.

"Only the uncle part." Ward tells him.

"We got our origin." Skye tells us as she zooms in on a map on the computer table. Austin, Texas.

"Austin, Texas." Skye states.

"You got a name?" I ask her.

"Just the café our hacker worked out of, but I'm in the system. I'm gonna check to see if any credit-card charges from that day match up with any known hackers." Skye explains as she types on the computer table "We got a hit." She tells us as an I.D. pops up of a man with light brown hair and blue eyes.

[Miles Lydon]

"Miles Lydon, not Skye... That's to all of our relief." I smile as I read the I.D.

"You know him?" Coulson asks Skye.

"Every hacker in the world knows him." Skye nods.

"Not just the hacker world. He infiltrated the Kremlin." Simmons states.

"Yeah, the picture of, uh, Putin shirtless on horseback... That was his hack." Fitz adds.

"It was also his hack that got Chan kidnapped." Ward states as May types on the computer table.

"May, set a course for Austin." Coulson orders her.

"Just did." May confirms.

"What about Chan?" I ask him.

"Kwan's got a S.H.I.E.L.D. team on the ground. Our best bet is to chase this thing from the other end. Find Mr. Lydon, bring him in. See what he knows." Coulson tells us.

After arriving in Austen, Texas, Coulson has paired myself up with Ward up the street from the Coffee Shop next to the park where the hack was made as Skye sits inside, Coulson sits in the truck down the block encase Lydon tries to make a get-away as May, Fitz and Simmons wait in the parked B.U.S. just outside of town.

"Just left the café where Miles logged in. Cashier says she hasn't seen him in over a week." Skye tells us over coms as we see Lydon exit a near grocery shop about fifty feet away from us.

"We may have eyes on him." I tell Coulson and Skye as myself and Ward face each other as if we're talking with Ward's back to Lydon.

Ward then goes to look over his right shoulder at Lydon, but from my view as I look across the street in the shop windows, Lydon is looking directly at us. So I swiftly place my hands on the back of Wards neck before I kiss him, and just as he starts to kiss back I pull away and give him a warning look to not look at Lydon, and he tries to be descreat and he looks anyways, and I look at the window shops across the street to see Lydon is still looking in our direction, and he begins to sprint the opposite way from us.

"We've been made. Heading East on 5th street." Ward states as I release my hands from the back of his neck before we both sprint after Lydon, buts it's hard to get through the large crowds as when we come to the ended of the block we see Lydon across the street and climbing into the drivers seat of a silver car.

[Silver Jetta]

"Target is now in a silver Jetta." I say over my com as Lydon drives away.

"I got him." Coulson tells us as he drives past us in the truck.

"What was that?" Ward asks me incredulously.

"You blowing our cover. Anyone ever tell you not to look target in the eye when undercover? Always use your surroundings." I explain to him.

"I know that, but he if he was still looking at us after you kissed me, then our cover was already blown." Ward tells me.

"It's impossible for him to know who we are, someone must have tipped him off. And for the kiss, Public displays of affection make people very uncomfortable, it always works." I explain to him.

"Well it didn't work this time." Ward tells me, and I inhale lightly.

"I lost him." Coulson states.

"Skye, what's your status?" I ask her as I look around the block, but I don't see her "Skye?" I repeat, but she doesn't respond.

"Skye's com is unresponsive, tracking now." May informs us as Coulson pulls up in front of Ward and myself in the truck "She's about six blocks away, sending coordinates now." She informs us as Ward climbs in the passenger seat and I climb into the back seats.

"You and Fitz-Simmons meet us there." Coulson tells her.

As Coulson pulls up outside of the address that May sent us, May pulls up in a van behind us with Fitz and Simmons, and we all climb out of the truck and van before near the house, and in the driveway is the car that Lydon got away in. She wouldn't. I the quicken my pace and take my gun out of my holster with my right hand before I slowly check the front door, and I twist the doorhand, and it's open. I then quietly enter with Coulson, May, Ward, Fitz and Simmons following in tow, and I near a pair of double doors where I can hear shuffling behind them, and there is some clothing on the floor beside it so I pick it up with my left hand, and I lower my gun. Skye's shirt.

The left double door then suddenly opens revealing a smiling Skye with only her jeans and a bra on, and he smile quickly falls as I glance behind her to see Lydon only wearing his trousers as the bed beside him merrily placed.

"Get dressed." I throw the shirt at her, and she clutches it with both hands to her chest, and she slowly backs into the room as May steps inside of the room, and May closes the door after herself as I try to channel my anger and disappointment.

"We're you in on this?" I hear Coulson ask, and I slowly turn around, and I glance up at Coulson to see him looking at me.

"... None." I admit betrayed.

"Are you sure?" Coulson asks me, and I silently shake my head, no.

After Skye and Lydon finished getting fully dressed, May interrogated Lydon in his bedroom with the doors closed as I sit in the living room on the left side of the couch as Skye sits on my right and the right far end of the couch as Coulson stands about ten feet away to my right as he reads a paper file that was on Lydons desk and Ward, Fitz and Simmons are searching through Lydons electronics and and desk on the far right side of the room.

"I know how this looks-" Skye tries to explains, but Cpulson cuts her off by holdung his right index up to her, silencing her "Lyra, I-" She tries to say to me, but I cut her off as I turn to look at her for the first time since she exited the bedroom.

"-No. You do not get to speak to me after what you've done." I tell her angrily before I glance away from her as Coulson drops his hand.

"How long have you two been in contact?" Coulson asks Skye as he closes the file and faces her.

"... I contacted him once the day I joined to tell him I was okay and once earlier today." Skye admits.

"When you tipped off an active suspect?" Coulson asks her.

"No, it's not like that. Miles and I... We met when we were both a little screwed up. Scratch that... He was a little screwed up, I was a lot. But we looked after one another. That's why I warned him, not because we're working together on this, but because we're... Friends. I'm really sorry." Skye apologises to Coulson.

"Noted. If not you, then who is Mr. Lydon working with" Coulson asks her.

"No one. He's an idealist, believes in freedom of information." Skye states.

"That information cost a man his freedom, and you sabotaged our attempts to remedy that." Coulson explains, hiding the a her in his voice.

"No, I came here to find out what Miles knows about Chan." Skye says to him.

"And?" Coulson asks her for her findings.

"Nothing." Skye states "Miles is a dead end. He's harmless." She says to Coulson.

"We'll see." Coulson goes to step away, but she speaks again, stopping him.

"Really, I was gonna find out everything I could to try to help. I just... I felt like I couldn't tell you guys everything." Skye admits.

"I know. That's why there is trackers in everyone's coms. Seems that wasn't a dead end." Coulson says to her before May steps out of the bedroom with Lydon, whom's wrists have been handcuffed.

"Gather all the evidence and secure the prisoners. We got what we were looking for here. We're going to Hong Kong." Coulson tells us before himself, May and Miles walk out, and Fitz and Simmons begin to pack up their gear. Ward then walks over to us with two pairs of handcuffs on his belt and he takes one with his right hand.

"I'm so sorry, Ward. This is not what it looks-" Skye tries to say, but Ward cuts her off as she stands up.

"-Hands." Ward tells her, and Skye slowly raises her hands before he places the handcuffs around her right wrist and then left wirst as I stand up "Weapons." He says to me, and I take my gun from my holster with my right hand before walking the barrel and holding it out to him, and he takes it with his right hand before taking the clip out with his left hand, revealing the unused bullets.

"They're all there." I assure him before he places the clip back into the gun before he places it into the back of his trousers.

"Just precaution." Ward states as he takes out a pair of handcuffs from his belt with his right hand, and I raise my wrists towards him and he places the handcuffs ontonmy left wrist and then my right wrist, and after he locks them he hesitates as he looks at my make-shift knife-bracelet "Let's go." He tells us before he begins to leave, and both Skye and myself follow him.

After arriving back at The B.U.S, I sit in an interrogation room by myself as Skye and Lydon sit in another interrogation room down the hall, and I look at my wirsts that are handcuffed to the table. The door then opens and I look up to see Ward step inside before he closes the door behind himself before he sits down across from me at the table.

"What's going to happen with Skye?" I ask him.

"She and Lydon will be interrogated, and then Coulson will make a decision based on that." Ward explains to me, and I nod lightly, understanding what Coulsons decision is most likely to be.

"I was in on it." I state, and he looks at me confused "I lied back at Lydon's house, I was in on it all." I tell him.

"If your just doing this to protect-" Ward tries to say, but I cut him off.

"-I'm not." I state.

"... So you were in on all of it, even Chan? You knew about Lydon giving away classified S.H.I.E.L.D. information?" Ward asks.

"Like I said, I was in on all of it." I tell him.

"Fitz-Simmons..?" Ward asks, and I look at him confused "... Your lying." He smiles at me slightly.

"How?" I ask him confused.

"You left your com in, it was detecting your heartbeat. You had no idea about your sister and Lydon." Ward explains to me as I just now remember I have my com in my right ear.

"If Skye goes, I go." I tell him as he takes out a key for the handcuffs with his right hand from his right back pocket.

"Even after everything she's done?" Ward asks me as he unlocks the handcuffs on my right wrist and then my left.

"Even after what she's just done, she's all I have." I tell him as he finishes removing the handcuffs, and I stand up.

Ward then stands up before opening the interrogation room door, and he allows me to walk out before he follows me in suit and closes the door behind him, and we both walk towards and then into the briefing room to see both Fitz and Simmons with paper and files on the computer table and live footage of Skye and Lydon in the interrogation room sitting across a table from each other with their hands handcuffed to the table on the wall computer. For a and Simmons then bombard me into a hug, Fitz on my left and Simmons on my right, although I don't hug back as I look at Skye and Lydon on the wall computer.

"We're so happy your on our side." Fitz says to me.

"Extremely delighted." Simmons says as she and Fitz pull away from the embrace.

"Guys." Ward states as I continue to look at Skye and Lydon on the wall computer.

"Our apologies, I suppose you must be very upset with the circumstances." Simmons says to me.

"I don't get upset, Simmons. I get angry... Then I get mad, and then... I get disappointed. And, believe it or not this is the first time in my life I've ever been disappointed in her." I explain to them as I continue to watch Skye and Lydon on the wall computer.

"So, I guess due process isn't really S.H.I.E.L.D. protocol." Lydon speaks up.

"They don't have time for it." Skye replies.

"Whoa, are you defending them? These people are denying our basic rights." Lydon says to Skye incredulously.

"This isn't about us. They're trying to save someone's life." Skye says to him.

"Listen to yourself. That's what they always say to justify invading privacy, Skye. These people stand for everything we despise... Secrets, Censorship-" Lydon tries to say, but Skye cuts him off.

"-Enough with the manifesto, Miles." Skye tells him.

"We can't let them get away with it! Manning, Snowden, Aaron Swartz... These are modern-day revolutionaries." Lydon lists.

"This has nothing to do with that. You leaked-" Skye is about to say, but the volume is suddenly cut off, and I look over to the controls on the far right of the computer table to see Ward walking away from it and towards Fitz and Simmons whom are looking through the paper and files on the far left of the computer table.

"Guy's hiding behind platitudes. He's dirty. I can feel it." Ward refers to Lydon.

"Scrubbed clean, actually... Nothing much on him. He's got no family records. His apartment's under an alias. And he plays a lot of 'Minecraft', where he runs a rather nasty mob." Simmons explains to us.

"Is it... Is it zombie?" Fitz refers to the game 'Minecraft'.

"Zombie pigmen." Simmons scowls, making Fitz also scowl.

"Keep looking." Ward tells them... Being a Hackavist is classed as employment, and and employment means getting paid.

"Money." I lightly mumble.

"What?" Ward asks me confused.

"Is their any receipts, anything from a bank, his current balances in the past few days of Chan's location was released." I ask them before I search through pieces of paper on the computer table.

"Nothing, but maybe on his laptop, but it's voice activated and we can't crack the code." Fitz explains to me as he refers to the laptop on the computer table. I then walk over to Lydon's laptop and open it turning on.

"Voice activation code required." The computer states in a female electronic voice.

"Miles Lydon." I memorize Lydon's voice and repeat it.

"Access granted." The computer speaks before the laptop screen passes the login.

"Go." I look to Fitz and refer to the laptop, although they all look to me confused "Yes, I've basically got photographic memory for speech. Fitz, if you would." I turn the lap top towards him, and he nods once before he begins to type in the laptop.

"Here. His balance a last week was a few hundred, and yesterday..." Fitz trails off in shock.

"Millions of dollars." Simmons finishes, as she also looks to the laptop screen.

"There's your evidence." I say to Ward.

"Simmons, inform Coulson and May." Ward tells her, and she goes as Fitz begins to print the receipts from the right side o the computer table.

"A Hackivists' job is to get into things other people can't, and the more they do that the more they think there isn't limits... Or Consequences." I say to them before Simmons returns with Coulson and May, and Fitz uses his right hand to give Coulson the receipt, and he takes it with right hand before reading it.

"Good thinking, Lyra." Coulson tells me before turning to Ward "Confront Lydon." He hands the reciept to Ward, and Ward takes it with his right hand.

"Yes, sir." Ward tells him before he leaves, and I turn the volume back on the live footage in the interrogation room by pressing on the control panel on the computer table with my right index finger as Ward enters the interrogation room.

"She's been defending you, saying you're a stand-up guy. So I'm going to give you a chance. Do you want to tell her, or should I?" Ward asks Lydon as he places Lydon's receipt on the table with his right hand.

"I don't have to listen to you-" Lydon tries to say, but Ward cuts him off.

"-There goes your chance. Your boyfriend here made a few deposits in the days following the leak. All said... It's about a million dollars." Ward explains as he turns the receipt towards Skye with his right hand.

"What?" Skye says incredulously to Lydon.

"Real stand-up guy." Ward comments.

"I can explain-" Lydon tries to say, but Skye cuts him off.

"-Did you sell information? Miles? Yes or no? Did you?!" Skye demands angrily.

"Yes, but-" Miles tries to say, but she cuts him off again and begins to pull on her handcuffs.

"-Ohh! You are so dead. What the hell were you thinking?!" Skye shouts at Lydon.

"It was a million dollars. A million dollars. It would change my life... Our lives, including your sister's. And that woman was harmless. I looked into it." Lydon tries to assure Skye.

"No one with good intentions pays that kind of money for information! Did you ever think about that?!" Skye continues to shout at Lydon.

"Of course I did. I would never have done it if I thought-" Lydon tries to say, but Ward interrupts.

"-Who is the woman you referred to?" Ward asks Lydon.

"A fan of the Rising Tide, some rich girl in a flower dress. She knew all about me, said I had a gift. She thought people like us deserved more." Lydon as he refers to Skye and himself being Hackavists.

"Oh, you deserve more." Skye assures him.

"She pointed me to a Chinese S.H.I.E.L.D. feed... Wanted me to crack it." Lydon states.

"You thought that was harmless?" Ward asks him incredulously.

"I checked the data stream. It didn't seem like anything you and I hadn't already put out there, Skye. And I traced the account where the money came from to make sure it wasn't some evil corporation. It was just an eco-research lab. Otherwise, I would never-" Lydon tries to say, but Ward cuts him off.

"-Ecological research?" Ward asks him to explain further.

"Yeah, insects, some study with centipedes. What's more harmless than that?" Lydon asks them.

After Lydon gave us all of the account information from the buyers of the classified S.H.I.E.L.D. information, Coulson had it sent to S.H.I.E.L.D. H.Q. to pinpoint the buyers location, and after gaining the location Cpulson has gathered himself, May, Ward, myself, Fitz and Simmons in the briefing room.

"It appears Centipede is responsible for Mr. Chan's kidnapping." Coulson says to us.

"First L.A., now Hong Kong. What kind of organization are we dealing with?" Ward asks him.

"International, well-financed, interested in creating a super soldier. Let's hope finding Mr. Chan will provide some answers. Using the account information Mr. Lydon gave us, S.H.I.E.L.D. HQ believes he's being held here." Coulson explains as he taps on the computer table, bringing up the buyers' location on a map on the wall computer.

"Any ideas what Centipede wants with Chan?" I ask Fitz and Simmons.

"Hard to say, but Simmons thinks that considering he's pyro kinetic..." Fitz trails off for Simmons to explain.

"... There's a good chance his genetics could stabilize the extremis element of the Centipede serum." Simmons explains.

"Keep their test subjects from going..." Fitz trails off.

"... Boom!" Simmons finishes.

"If Mr. Chan is Centipede's lab rat, we need to get there before the experiment's over." Coulson tells us.

After Ward and myself finished suiting up with fireproof/ bullet proof vests, etc., Coulson walks into the briefing room where Ward and myself are looking over our automatics.

[Lyra's Outfit]

"Agent May and I will be handling the field work. You and Lyra stay and oversee the prisoners, your both in charge whilst we're gone." Coulson tells us, and Ward and myself ook at him confused.

"Sir? I was Skye's S.O. It was my responsibility-" Ward tries to say, but Coulson cuts him off.

"-It was my call to bring Skye onto the plane, and you warned me against it. My problem... I fix it." Coulson tells us before he walks away.

"He should've listened to your advice." I say to Ward.

(The Centipede Base, Hong Kong, China)

After arriving at The Centipede Base in Hong Kong, Coulson and May along with a Strike team enter the base as Ward, myself, Fitz and Simmons stand in the briefing room as we communicate with Coulson and May over coms.

"Strike team needs a security override, stat." Coulson tells us.

"Can you two override the security system?" Ward asks Simmons and Fitz.

"It would take us over an hour to override it, but not as long with..." Simmons trails off with hesitation.

"... With Skye." Fitz finishes, and I look at them incredulously.

"No. No, you two can do it." I assure them.

"Lyra, they're right." Ward tells me, and I turn to look at him incredulously, too "I wish we didn't need Skye to do this, but Coulson's in trouble. He left both of s charge, what's your order?" He asks me, and I look at them all before fighting all of my negative feelings, and I nod for them to do it.

After Ward had released Skye and Miles from the interrogation room, Skye is now hacking into The Centipede's Base on the computer table as a security map is shown on the wall computer.

"The entire facility's been locked down." Simmons begins to stress as alerts flash on the wall computer.

"Are you sure about this?" Fitz asks me.

"No." I state.

"The alarms disconnected the system from all exterior servers." Skye explains.

"Can you fix it or not?" Ward asks her.

"Yes, but you've got to get me on-site." Skye tells us.

"No way." Ward says as Miles says "Not a chance." As I say "Definitely not."

"You're a hacker, Skye, not Seal team 6." Miles tells her.

"No. But they are." Skye looks To Ward and myself.

Once Ward, Myself and Skye arrive outside of The Centipede Base, Ward and myself lead Skye through the base with our guns at the ready as we head to the Main Control Room.

"Where are we on the doors?" May asks us over coms.

"Almost there." Ward tells her as we arrive at the Main Control Room, and Ward stands at the door as I follow Skye to the largest computer surrounding my smaller computers, and Skye begins to type on the key board in front of it.

"How long is this gonna take?" I ask her as I glance back at Ward.

"Done." Skye tells us as she stops typing.

"Security is down." I tell Coulson and May over coms "Let's move." I tell Ward and Skye before we begin to exit the building.

Once Ward, myself and Skye exit the building, we meet up with Coulson, May and the Strike team before we watch The Centipede Base blow up in flames... With Chan inside.

"Skye managed to extract some files from the building's mainframe. It's not much, but could get us a fix on Centipede." Ward informs Coulson and May as before we left the Main Control Room Skye extracted a few files that looked important.

"Maybe." Coulson sighs.

"You can't save someone from themselves, sir." Ward states.

"You can if you get to them early enough." Coulson tells him.

After arriving back to The B.U.S. and removing my fireproof/ bulletproof vest, I walk over to the mini-bar and sit down on one of the stools before picking up a bottle of Whiskey with my right hand and I take a Whiskey glass with my left hand and placing the glass in front of me. I then begin to pour the Whiskey into the glass.

"Need some company?" I hear someone say, and I place the bottle down on the bar before looking over my right shoulder to see May and Ward standing by the briefing room.

"No..." I trail off as I stand up, and I take my glass with my right hand "... Help yourselves." I tell them  before I begin to leave the opposite way of facing them and to my bunk, but Wards voice stops me.

"We're a team, you can talk to us about anything." Ward says to me.

"I told Coulson before I walked on this plane, I'm not good with teams." I don't face either of them before I continue to head to my bunk.

After I arrive at my bunk, I slide the door open with my left hand before I step inside, and I down my glass of Whiskey before I place the glass down on the cabinet beside the head of my bed. I then feel a presence behind me, and unrest my right hand on my gun as I turn around, only to see Skye, and I slowly drop my hand from my gun.

"Coulson wants to speak to you in his office." Skye says to me, and I don't say anything before I begin to leave to go see Coulson, but Skye grabs my left upper arm with her right hand to stop me.

"Lyra-" Skye tries to say, but I cut her off as I rip my arm away from her grip.

"Don't you even dare!" I shout/ whisper as I turn to lool at her "I am already way past angry, furious and disappointed, do not make me go a step further by never wanting to see your face again. So I suggest you stay away from me when we are not working, and when we are working, keep your distance." I tell her before I walk past her and to Coulson's office.

After arriving at Coulson's office and he let me come in, and step near his desk as he sits behind it.

"You wanted to speak with me, sir?" I ask him as I place both of my hands behind my back.

"Yes, I thought you might of wanted to see what else our Skye had been keeping from you." Coulson says to me.

"Not really, sir." I say to him.

"This information that she was keeping, it partly involved yourself." Coulson explains to me, and I begin to hesitate to wanting to know what it is.

"... Just my involvement, please." I say to him, and Coulson taps a electronic tablet on he desk before looking at the wall computer behind me. I then turn around to lool at the wall computer and I see multiple files on different adoption homes Skye and myself have been in, tacking all of the way back to our first arrival in America, and there is also a classified S.H.I.E.L.D. file which has been marked out completely so it's unable to read.

"I offered to inform her on any information I can find, would you also like to be informed?" Coulson asks me.

"If you want to do Skye a favour, don't look into this." I turn to look at him "I've been protecting since the day she was born, if you want to help to do the same. Listen to my advice." I say to him before I leave Couslon's office.
