Those prep days passed in a Jeffey for Nandini. She made sure that Manik had no idea about whatever was going on. Atlast it came..! Manik's bday. She planned for a surprise at 12 o clock night. She arranged everything properly. She beautifed herself too. She adorned herself with a red saree. Atlast she took a final glimpse of her work.

She had planned something like her wedding night andso she wore his favourite red colour saree with chuda ( wedding bangles) and Sindoor.

She wore a light makeup but to glam up she wore a red lipstick.

She took a final look of herself too.

Everyone knew about her plans andso to give the couple privacy. So everyone went to malhotra's farm house. So Nandini was left alone. She backed his favourite black forest cake.

She waited..... Waited for him. It seemed like infinity time to wait for him. She didn't have her dinner either. The clock also striked 12 o clock but there was no sign of Manik. She wondered what happened to him. She waited and didn't realise when sleep took over her. She slept in the same saree. It was 10  in the morning. Thats when she woke up. She opened her eyes only to find the room as it is like the way she decorated and the cake too remained as it is. 

She just then realised that Manik had not come home. She got alarmed by the sound of calling bell. She was in a miserable state. First she worried for Manik. Second she realised that all her hard work has gone in vain because Manik had not turned up. She chuckled her thoughts and went up to open the door. She adjusted her saree properly and went downstairs. The opened door only revealed him..!! He was standing in front of her eyes. She was happy to see him but at the same time, she was angry that he didn't turn up last night and spoiled "their" perfect night. She simply ignored him and went to their room and got rid of all the decorations quickly. When she was undoing her decorations, she continuosly heard knocks at the door. She knew it was Manik. She wasn't too brave to face him. She Knew if she saw him, she will burst all her anger and disappointment up! After undoing her decorations, she went for a bath and wore a normal kurti leggings. 

She went out as she again heard a calling bell. She realised that it was her beautiful understanding family. She opened the door. Manik also came downstairs that time.

Everyone barged Nandini with their questions about " last night"

Navya: so Nandini how was your previous night??

Mukthi: did everything happened just as you liked or....?!

Alya: Manik did you like her decorations? She did it all by herself without taking any help.

Cabir: Nandini I seriously wonder how you are even standing properly now. I know Manik is very aggressive...😉😉

Manik didn't know about what they were speaking.

Nyonika: hey kids stop teasing them! Wish my son a very happy birthday. Happy birthday Manik....

All: happy birthday Manik and mukthi...!

Manik and mukthi: thank you guys...:)

Manik noticed that Nandini didn't wish him but infact ignored him and went to the kitchen to set the breakfast. She cut the cake into slices and served everyone after their breakfast.

Dhruv: Nandini I thought Manik would have completed the entire cake but how come.....??

Alya: exactly he had not completed his favourite black forest cake?? I simply wonder what happened to him last night...!

Navya: Nandini's magic got over him...

All noticed that Nandini simply faked a smile. All thought she was feeling shy in front of everyone.

After breakfast it was time for some dessert. Nandini happily served the cake to everyone. All were praising her culinary skills.

Manik: the cake is soo yummy. I wish I could eat this entire cake...!!

All: what??

Cabir: you had the entire night to eat the entire cake! What were you doing??

Manik didn't know what to say. He looked Nandini with a hopefull eyes. As usual Nandini covered it for him .

Nandini: so guys what is today's plan??

Cabir: whatever Manik wants...! What say bro?

Manik: yeah...

Nyonika: no first we will go to the temple and seek god's blessings and then do whatever you want...

Manik: ok done. We will have a party tonight but that's only for family members. I don't want any stranger to look lustfully at the beautiful brides of malhotra.

Cabir: beautiful brides of malhotra or Manik malhotra??

All just couldn't control their laughter.

Manik: guys just stop this! Where is my gift?

Dhruv: arey! We seriously forgot about that.

Cabir: Manik don't be like a baby to ask gifts...!

Manik: I am still a baby for my mother. What say mom?

Nyonika: my baccha..:)

Manik: u listened cabir??

Cabir: ok fine but what do you want?

Manik: anything that you give with love....;)

Cabir: ha.... Kitna Dramebaaz ( such a drama creator)

Navya gave him his favourite perfume. He instantly got a smile on his face.

Manik: thanks navvu... You are the best.

Saying so he hugged her.

Cabir: oii! Don't squeeze my wife...

Cabir gave him a canon camera.

Cabir: this is to capture all the prefect moments with your wife.

Manik: thanks cabir:)

Alya gave him a watch

Manik: omg! A xylys watch! I thought of purchasing it... Thanks Alya....

Dhruv: this is for my super star bro.

Manik: omg dhruv I just loved it very much.... Thanks bro:)

Mukthi: here is a small gift for my evil twin! Happy bday Manik!

Nyonika: so these are from me and your dad.

She forwarded him an envelope.

He looked suprised and opened it.

Manik: mom.... These are....

Nyonika: tickets to Paris! We just realised that you have not been on your honeymoon. So just enjoy...

Manik: but mom...I have a project which is nearing finishing stage. I just cannot leave it midway...

Raj: don't worry beta. It's after 1 month so you can complete your current project and then take this break....

All of them smiled and Manik hugged his parents too....

Manik: but what about mukthi's birthday gifts??

Cabir: we all have her yesterday night itself. We celebrated it last night in the farm house....

Manik: but why didn't you call me?

Alya: because you were busy with your wife to celebrate your own birthday.

He looked at Nandini. She simply avoided his gaze.

Manik: so here..this is a small gift for you mukthi.

ukthi: thanks Manik.... All these gifts are lovely....

Manik: yeah. I specially choose these for you because it is not that heavy and you can wear it for jeans too...

Mukthi: I know.... By coincidence our t shirts sync too...

Manik: yeah... Same thoughts run in our mind...

They had a great time and all retired to their respective rooms because they had to prepare for the party....
