That evening they went to temple.
The priest came and told them about the function the next day for which the ladies have to fast. He told them that those who ever fasts and breaks their fast in this temple, will be blessed with a long marital life.

Nandini decided to keep fast for Manik.

They returned home as they have to make preparations for the next day's function.

At manan's room:

Manik: nandini tomorrow you are not going to fast!

Nandini: but how do you know that I am going to keep a fast?

Manik: the glow on your eyes, the excitement which you cannot control in your eyes, I can see it. I learnt from your eyes that some mischief is running inside your mind. I just had a doubt about your fast but with your reply I confirmed.

Nandini: but Manik this is for our long living only na Manik..

Manik was smiling inwards as he heard something about them from her mouth.

Nandini: Manik where are you lost??

Manik: nothing..... It's final that you are not going to keep fast.

Nandini: we will see that tomorrow.

Manik: no you must obey my words atleast in this matter. If you are not obeying my words then think on your own. You cannot obviously stay without eating for the entire day when all the kidos in this house will be eating ice cream u know.....( Manik was tempting to convince her not to keep fast but heartily he wanted her to keep fast because it is for them. But considering her health, he let it go)

Nandini: don't tempt me manik!

Manik: think, how you will be when I eat your ice cream in front of your eyes and you must simply sit quiet without eating 😉😉

Nandini: let's see tomorrow Manik! Now good night...

Manik: good night but think about what I told you...

Early morning 4 am:

Nandini and Manik were hugging each other and sleeping. His hands were on her waist and she was lying on his shoulder.

Nandini suddenly woke up from sleep as she have to prepare herself for the fast.

Due to sudden movement of her manik's sleep was disturbed.

Manik: Nandini sleep na. Where are you going this early ?

Nandini: you sleep I will just be back...

Manik: yeah it's ok. But come soon.

Nandini: you sleep Manik.

Saying so Nandini got up from the bed and took bath. She went downstairs and saw all the ladies of her family waiting for her. They had food as they were not going to eat anything until they go to the temple which will happen only by evening.

Aunty: so I am glad that all the ladies of Malhotra and Mehra family is here. We will break our fast oy by evening and that too by our husband's hands only..... Remember this...

Nyonika: ok. Now let's all sleep for a while and all must wake up by 7 am.

Nandini also came to their room and slept on the floor by resting her hands in bed.

At 6 am:

Manik woke up as he realised that Nandu was not anywhere near him. He checked in washroom but she was not there too.... He dropped his phone down and so he bent to pick it up but saw Nandu sleeping on the floor.

He didn't want to disturb her innocent sleeping face andso he gently lifted her in his arms and placed her on the bed. He adjusted the bedsheet such that it covered her chest and was admiring her. Soon sleep took over him and he too slept hugging her.

But again Manik woke up. Then reality striked him .

Maniks pov:

* How come Nandu was in the floor when she slept with me the previous night?
* Yesterday she was in her night suit but how did she change the clothes and that too in saree??

Fine I will asked the answers to these questions from her. But for that let her wake up.

But before that he decided to freshen up himself.
Soon he came out of the washroom but she went away....

Maniks pov:

Now what happened to this girl? Why is she behaving so weird??

He went out to have his breakfast. All the gents were served by ladies....

Raj( manik's dad): when are you ladies gonna have your food?you know you need energy to fast the entire day so you must eat something before hand na...

Nyonika: but we woke up early this morning and took our food. You don't worry...

Manik literally choked his food. Then only he realised that Nandu also woke up early and that's the reason behind her sudden costume change.

Manik gave a stern look to Nandini and she lowered her gaze.

He wanted answers from her but she was not to be seen anywhere around. He searched and finally found that she was playing with the kids in the play area.

He didn't want to shout at her in front of kids andso he went inside. Soon dawn hit the place and it was time for them to leave for the temple.

All went to the temple.

Nandini was staying away from Manik because she feared his scouldings. Even though he is very good in his heart, he will never leave any chance to scould her when the mistake is hers...

Manik and Nandini were told to do the Abhishek together to the god. Time to time Manik was giving a deadly glare to her.

She was waiting outside for others to come so that all can break their fast together. She was standing with a jug of water and a sweet.

Suddenly Manik came. Nandu was literally shacking....

Manik: what happened wifey? Doing any mistake? I bet you are or else there will be no need for you to run from me right...!

Nandini noticed the change in his mood.

Nandini: Manik..... I ....am....

Manik: shut up! I too care for you Nandini! I told you not to keep fast considering your health only!

Nandini : Manik I know... But still I wanted to do this.....

Manik: you have decided not to listen to my talks then there is no use. I am leaving. I will call others and come.

Before Manik leaves Nandini fainted and was about to fall but Manik came up and held her. He panicked. This was the reason he denied her from having a fast...

Manik saw the jug was water in her hands and sprinkled a little in her face. Without any further delay, he made her drink water and made her eat the sweet too...!!

Nandini was happy as her fast was broken by her husband only!

She came out of the dream world when she heard a stranger talking about them.

Person 1: Raab ka banaya hua Jodi( this Jodi is God made)

Nandini was happy then she realised that she was still in his arms. She was lying in his arms and he was carrying her and sitting on the floor.... They had a small eyelock!
