"Riots? Di jun we are surrounded by the ward only high gods and goddesses can break. And moreover, no one has been out of the ward which is situated deep underwater for a hundred thousand years." Tang Ruru said. Dong Hua nodded. It looked like he was thinking about something. 

"If you don't have anything else. please leave." She said showing the way to Dong Hua.

"Ruru...your children are very capable." Di jun commented lightly as he was gonna take his leave. She froze for a moment and looked into his deep eyes and then almost immediately lowered her eyes.

"I know. And I know that sister Tang Yin did many bad deeds. She wasn't like that at all when we lived on Yaowu mountain. Our whole clan was so lively. She was the kindest person I knew. But I don't know what happened to her when she went to the Nine heavens."

"Too much power and obsessive love can ruin people."

"Is that why you didn't marry yet?" She gave him a small smile.

"You missed my wedding." He said turning on his heel. She watched him go. 

Tang Ruru had been only 10,000 years old child when she first saw Di Jun. Of course, she was intimidated back then too. But then which fairy wasn't? Dong Hua was a person girls admired from far away. Although some did jump on him straight away. No matter how pretty or how unique or how bold a girl was, he broke everyone's heart. 

Tang Ruru had some affections for Di Jun too but didn't dare say. And her older sis Tang Yin, a pretty and capable princess who was forced by her family to marry the previous heavenly lord, went to the Nine Heavens originally to marry the lord but fell miserably in love with a rock. And consequently did outrageous things when Dong Hua exposed her for not being filial to the previous heavenly lord. She went insane and her love became an obsession. To make Di Jun hers she decided to become the most powerful woman. So that she'd be the only one capable of him. But to increase her power she ate innocent souls. Dong Hua caught her and took away all her cultivation and put a seal on her so she couldn't regain any of it.

Bai Feng Jiu and Yan Chiwu were having a blast. Actually, they became pretty good friends in a short time, which was probably half a day. Because Yan did everything she said and there was no one to scold him. She had fully involved him in her mischiefs.

"Ayy Bai Feng Jiu, stop for now. I'm tired of running." Yan wheezed as they ran away from a powerful bull who was chasing them nonstop.

"Then let's teleport to Qingque."

"We can't teleport. Qing Que is far."

"Then which is the nearest place?"

"Green sea?" He looked at her and nodded. She nodded back. They both teleported to the shore of the Green Sea. They walked on the shore together to calm their breaths.

"Let's go home now," Yan suggested.

"What's the hurry? Plus when I go home I'm bound to be beaten by my father so why not enjoy a little more?" She said holding her dress. She summoned some light insects, removed her shoes, and ran in the sand. She giggled. It was already too dark to go home anyway. 

"Feng Jiu I had fun today. But don't tell me we're gonna do the same kind of things here. First, you pranked the ghost tree and it almost ate us and then you made me pluck the feathers of an innocent bird, and then you got the fire bull to chase us." He ran behind her.

"We're not. We'll just be sightseeing and then go home. And he's not an innocent bird. When I was young he dropped me into the snake's nest. Since then I'm afraid of snakes the most."  Feng Jiu scrunched up her nose in annoyance.

"And how many times did you take revenge?" he asked playfully.

"Haha...umm...anyways he deserved it."

"Di Jun, the water lord of the green sea has made the arrangements for your stay." Si Ming told Dong Hua. He was sitting calmly, his eyes closed.

"We won't stay at the palace. Just book a simple place so that I can investigate with ease without alarming people of the palace."

"Do you think they are involved?"

"Ruru said no one left their clan. Mermaids said they are causing riots. One of them must be lying. Just tell him that I have returned to Tai Chen Palace."

"Yes." Si Ming bowed to him and left. He took out the jade necklace Lian Song brought him and stared at it. He made a mayur mudra from his left hand, placed it on his forehead, and transferred his little fox's image into the necklace activating it.

Feng Jiu tossed in her bed. The stay at the east sea was so uncomfortable. It was 5 in the morning and she lay on her bed wide awake. She got up and quietly walked out of her room and peeked into Yan's. He was sleeping so soundly that she didn't even try waking him up. The sun was starting to rise and she decided to go for a walk in the nearby woods.

She took one sorrowless cake out of her small pouch in which she carried sweets and took a bite while walking on the dirt road. She looked around and saw a small Mufeng butterfly. It was so beautiful that she followed it.

Meanwhile in Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms

"Zhen Zhen." Lord Zhe yan called as he saw Bai Zhen, Feng Jiu's fourth uncle walking. Bai Zhen had been the prettiest among his four brothers. 

"Oh, Old Phoenix." He teased as he turned around to see Zhe Yan.

"Why are you here? You keep spending your time with me. When will you get a wife?"

"If I get a wife, you'll be jealous." He laughed. "Anyway, I'm here to ask if Feng Jiu is here. My second brother is too furious. Even I'm scared for her now."

"I heard she was here yesterday but then she left. Maybe she is with Bai Qian."

"She didn't come to the fox den at all. And Bai Qian...Ye Hua doesn't even let her spend time with A-li, do you think he'd let Feng Jiu stay for that long?"

"True. Ye Hua is just too smitten."

"Of course. She's Qianqian."
