Yan seemed happy as always. After all, he wasn't a person who'd be drowned in sorrows. His love for Ji Heng was deep. They had known each other since they were kids and he had also fallen for her then. His feelings grew gradually but now all he wanted was for Ji Heng to safely return to the demons. From him, Feng Jiu could learn one thing. That one-sided love is also great love. Yan would love her despite whatever she did, whomever she loved. It didn't need to be mutual. "I'm gonna search in the mortal realm for her," Yan said as he walked with Fang Lei and Feng Jiu. They sat near the lotus pond and Feng Jiu took out some wine for all of them from the big box she was carrying.

"Mortal realm. I haven't played there for years." She said pouting. "It must be very changed right? Since one day in heaven is one year there."

She thought of the mortal realm. It had always been fun to play there. With foolish humans and no specific dangers. Her aunt also quite liked to play in the mortal realm in her youth days so she often took Feng jiu with her to play and they'd sit together at the tea house where they told stories. She also wanted to just go far away with her mind clear from all sorts of issues. It wasn't as if she took things very seriously but even the most cheerful people become sad once in a while. And lively as she was she really despised her fate. Her aunt ad told her before that she too fell in love with a guy before Ye Hua. And told her that she'd be able to forget as years pass by. That one day she'll able to let go of the yearning. But as she stayed in the nine heavens and saw Dong Hua her yearning only seemed to amplify.

"I'm going with Yan. I don't really wanna stay at home." Fang Lei announced. An unprecedented emotion in his eyes. The green sea had been weird all along and he just flirted around with girls and rested in his restaurant ignoring all of it as his father told him to. But since he saw Feng Jiu talking to other girls became more and more boring. Because all he thought about was her. As for Feng Jiu, she knew why he was sticking and since he hadn't really been very rude to her she didn't beat him up yet. Moreover, she was starting to accept him as a friend given that she made friends easily with anyone of any age.

"You're basically going on a trip." She pouted again as if she was jealous.

"Then come along," Yan suggested. She nodded quickly and energetically. A bright grin spread on her soft face.

"When?" She asked pouring Yan peach wine.

"Next week." He declared. Fang Lei stared at Feng Jiu for a while and just about when Feng Jiu was gonna notice he looked away a little shy.

Nine heavens were almost full of guests because of the wedding and there was no room for Yan and Fang lei to stay so they decided that they would straight away meet in the mortal realm.

Dong Hua saw everything that was happening through a magical mirror in his room. He slightly clenched his teeth. It was unnoticeable and unintentional. Then his lips curved upwards as though someone would surely suffer.

Lian Song entered. He had been with Cheng Yu all day. She still didn't truly accept him but let him linger around longer. What made Cheng yu angry was that whenever she'd talk about something serious he would turn it into a joke. That was the only reason she thought he was a playboy. Joking as always and never serious. Even though his feelings were clear to see his personality and ability to talk with any girl made the little bit of sincerity Cheng Yu she had felt all disappear. That's why they couldn't be together until now.

But he was the same as before now although he only joked to lighten the atmosphere. And it was just his personality. Demanding him to be emotional and serious would change him. And she didn't want to be the reason. Chengyu could be difficult at most times but she was always kind and understanding. She was also straight forward or why would Lian Song like her. And she usually showed her shyness by pushing him away pretending to be angry.

Lian Song sat across from Dong Hua and looked into the mirror. By now he was sure Dong Hua had fallen for a beautiful fairy. A bright smile was blooming on his face. As if he was the one who had fallen in love for the first time.

He had even collected all the tales about her that flew across the deserts and seas only to gossip. After all thanks to him, the whole nine heavens were convinced that Dong Hua Di Jun was not completely a monk. Even Si Ming was.

He even went to Feng Jiu to tell her about Dong Hua. And told her that it was best for her to move on and that he didn't know Dong Hua was like that. When she heard about it in the morning she awkwardly laughed it off and internally her heart sped as she realized that rumors were now all around the place. But what made her angry was that people of nine heavens could only come up with Zhi He's name. Even in the over-exaggerated rumors how could they interpret the beauty to be her?

She wasn't that pretty although hugely favored by Dong Hua in the past. She was just average both in skills and features.

Feng Jiu wondered if it would make her happy to just be in rumors with him that would die with time.

"Dong Hua... don't you think Bai Qian is trying too hard to arrange dates for Bai Feng Jiu. I heard she's arranging a whole banquet for her when she already has two good options." He said a hint of a smile on his face. The days to tease Dong Hua were rarer than Ten Miles of peach blossoms having no peaches.

"The two of them aren't good enough for her." He said simply putting aside the mirror and arranging a game of go in front of them.

"Do you think I only come here to play with you?" He said with cute aggression. Dong Hua eyed him and removed the game.

"By the way, Do you ever suspect that Si Ming knows something about Feng Jiu?" Lian Song said as he fanned himself. Dong Hua stared in the space for a moment then turned to Lian Song.

"So does Cheng Yu. If you're that curious about Xiao Bai ask her."

"She's a good friend. She won't tell me everything. Plus why would I bug my woman because of you? Wait did you say, Xiao Bai?" He laughed.
