I closed the diary as I finished reading it 100 times. I sighed as I leaned back into my chair and closed my eyes. It has been more than 3 years since I got back home from South Korea and since I quit the military. I have been returning back to the country to find Chaehyun but even though I tried hard I couldn't find any trace of her. I still haven't heard from any of them. Neither Yoon, Seungyeon, Hyunjin, Heejin, Yuqi, Yujin, Ryujin, or Chaehyun. There hasn't been a sign of any of them. It is like they have completely vanished from the earth. I stood up from my chair and placed the diary back on the shelves beside the trophies and medals that I had gotten during my time. I then walked to the entrance where I put on my jacket and shoes before stepping outside to the streets. I was just mindlessly working while thinking about how to find them when I suddenly realized that I had ended up in the park.

Jahoon: Well... can't hurt to sit here and relax for a while. Maybe I will be available to think of something.

I walked over to a bench and sat down while looking over the water in the lake in front of me. There were a lot of people passing by and just enjoying the nice weather. There were also a lot of couples walking around since it was the weekend after all. It made me think of Chaehyun. The time that we had in South Korea and the time that we could have been spending together if it weren't for the GOTA. Speaking of the devil, she was arrested and executed but enough of her. I don't want to think about her after all she has done towards me, Chaehyun, and my team. I was pulled out of my thoughts when suddenly a child failed in front of me and began crying. Being the good me, I bent down and tried to help and comfort the child.

Jahoon: It is okay. You don't have to cry. Auntie will help it get away.

Child: *sniff* Really?

Jahoon: Yes, of course! You see auntie here has magic hands that can make any pain go away!

Child: That isn't true~ You can't do anything like that~

Jahoon: I mean it! I can really do it. Look!

I made some weird hand gestures before pulling out a coin from behind her ear. The child gasped in shock before bursting out in a giggle. I gave her the coin.

Child: You really have magic hands!

Jahoon: See? I told you and did you notice that the pain also is gone now?

The child blinked her eyes at me confused for a moment before gasping in shock again.

Child: No way! It is really gone! Thank you, auntie!

I giggled as I looked at the bright smile on her face. Suddenly she launched into me and wrapped her arms around my neck in a hug making me freeze but after a few seconds, I returned it. She then pulled away and gave me her big smile. Something about her seems quite familiar but I can't pinpoint what it is.

???: Jiae! I told you not to run away from mom like that! What if something happened to you and I can't find you?!

Jiae (child): Mommy!!! I'm okay! This cool auntie helped me! I fell and hurt myself but this auntie helped the pain go away with her magic hands! See?! She even pulled out a coin from behind my ear!

???: That is really great, sweetie but what have I told you about talking to strangers?

Jiae: But mom! This auntie isn't a bad person at all!

I smiled at the child before glancing up at her mom.

Jahoon: Chaehyun?

Chaehyun: Jahoon?

I looked at her in surprise. The girl that I have been wishing to see again for so long. The girl that I had been flipping the world upside down to find was standing right in front of me. I didn't believe in fate before but this made me believe. If it weren't for fate then how else would we be meeting each other again like this? Chaehyun stood frozen for a moment as it was like she couldn't believe her eyes but when she finally found out that it wasn't a dream and that I actually was standing in front of her, she launched herself at me and wrapped her arms around my neck. She snuggled her head into my neck and I could hear her cry. I wrapped my arms tightly around her as I put my own head in her neck and cried with her. This was the first time in my life that I had ever cried for another person. We stood there for a while and just enjoyed each other's presence before we pulled away from each other.

Jiae: Mommy? Why are you crying? Do you know this auntie?

Jiae looked at Chaehyun with a confused and worried expression. Chaehyun and I looked at each other before Chaehyun bent down to Jiae's eye level.

Chaehyun: I'm fine baby. Mommy is just happy to see her again and yes, I know this auntie. I know this auntie very well. And you also know her.

Jiae: Really?

Chaehyun: Yes. Do you remember the pictures that I have shown you a lot? She is the same person in the picture.

Jiae: So she is my mom? (A/N: I know it is a wild imagination but just think that you were available to get Chaehyun pregnant and you are Jiae's biological mother)

I looked at Chaehyun in confusion. So Chaehyun was the mother of Jiae but why did she also call me mom? Chaehyun noticed my confusion and stood back up again to look at me. She glanced at Jiae and then back at me again.

Chaehyun: Meet your daughter Jahoon.

I glanced between Chaehyun and Jiae in shock. I couldn't believe my own ears.

Jahoon: But when?

Chaehyun: Do you remember the last time that we were together in our secret cave? Before you were captured and sent to prison? That was when I became pregnant but I just found out after you were sent to prison and Heejin and the rest of them helped me and mother escape to here.

I kneeled down to Jiae's eye level. Her eyes were shining brightly. I opened my arms for her as she sprung into me again and gave me a big tight hug. Suddenly I felt a tear rolling down my cheek. I was crying. I was crying in happiness. I was finally reunited with the person that I love. I found her. I found my family. I finally found my happiness.
