๐˜— ๐˜ ๐˜• ๐˜’ ๐˜

I was now home alone, talking on the phone with Tyreek.

"Yaaa hear mi?" He asked.

"Mhmm mmm," I replied.

"Wah mi just ask yuh?"

"Mi nuh know," I laughed.

"Mi say Wah yuh waah mi fi get fi yuh?" He repeated the question he asked earlier.

"Mi nuh tell yuh mi a buy yuh sumn cause nuh cash pot grade nuh deh pan yuh report?" He hissed.

"Oh that," I said.

"Yes, suh Wah yuh want?" He asked.

"Umm, let me think," I said looking around the room.

I honestly don't know what to tell him, because I already have all the things I want.

"Mi doh know," I replied pouting.

"Style thing yuh deh pan mn," he hissed.

"How mi a pan style thing sir?" I rolled my eyes.

"Man a ask yuh Wah yuh want and yuh come a chat bout yuh nuh know," he hissed his teeth again.

"Because mi nuh know fi real," I whined.

"Alright, yuh can pay fi wah inah mi shopping cart dem," I said.

"A more than one though, yuh have Sheen, Temu, DHgate, Fashionova, and Amazon," I replied.

Ik it's spelled Shein but I pronounce it sheen!

"Obviously not, anyways, after yuh past Scotia, and take the next right turn the office deh right desso inah the lane," I replied.

"Oh, oh."

"Yup."

My phone beeped signaling he wanted to switch to video call.

"Tyreek!" I shrieked. "Why yuh waah video call mi?"

I looked a mess right now, I was wearing a two-piece pink pajama set with a pink bonnet covering my hair.

"Accept ih thing nuh," he said.

"Wait nuh," I said turning off the light switch and turning on my led light instead.

"A yuh face mi waah see enu, anuh di wall," he said after I accepted it and turned it to the wall.

I set the other pillow beside me so it could hold up my phone.

"Dat is it," he said when he could see my face.

Looking at the screen, it seems as if the phone was in his lap and he was looking at a TV screen.

"Dah bomboclaat referee yah teef yuh fuck," hissed.

"Football yaa play?" I asked.

"Yeah b," he replied.

"So how yuh waah talk to mi and yuh busy?" I yawned.

"Yuh waah sleep?" He asked.

"Ahh mi ago find waah audiobook pah YouTube, dat good?" He asked.

"Yeah," I replied looking at myself on the phone screen.

I woke up the next morning, still on the call with Tyreek, the Audiobook still playing.

It was now switched back to voice call instead of video. I thought he would have hung up when I went to sleep.

Should I hang up or not? I don't want to hang up then he feels disrespected.

Him nuh want him phone dem fi use? Then again him have bout six phones.

I plugged my almost dead phone into the charger before starting my day.

I got up and spread my bed and swept my room before going to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth.

After doing that, I went to the kitchen and set on the kettle to make my tea then I went to the garden in our backyard.

I watered my flowers and natural remedy bushes then my brothers' ganja trees. I don't know how they decided to plant ganja seeds and only remember to water them once in a while.

After doing all that, I went back into the kitchen and while washing my hands, I decided that I'm going to make Macaroni and Cheese for my breakfast.

Am I the only one that likes to cut up frankfurters in my Mac and cheese?

After I ate my breakfast and drank my tea, I took a bath while putting on a Stage show in the shower.

Dats why yuh always late.

I stood in my closet contemplating what to wear. I'm going to a place of business so I want to at least dress mature.

I finally decided on wearing a grey oversized tee, grey jeans, a red bag, and my red and white Nike Air Jordans.

Mi did a go wear crocs enuh, but ih ppl dem must tired fi see mi inah crocs all the time.

I placed my birth paper and TRN in an envelope to bring with me and sprayed on perfume.

I unplugged my phone and hung up then I texted him that I'm going on the road.

Mi did already tell him weh mi ago last night so him must know.

I feel like driving but today's Wednesday and I know for a fact that the police are under the bridge and me Naah take a fifty grand ticket inah the day yah so taxi it is, worst like how a market day.

Mi need fi look bout mi license before August enuh.

I walked out and closed the gate using the envelope to hide my face from the sun.

"Falmouth browning?" A taxi driver called to me as I walked into the community square.

First mi a see him.

"No, no," I replied.

He beeped before driving off and I walked to the bottom of the road and waited for a taxi there.

"Pinky!" the old man that runs MarthaBrae to Falmouth waved me over.

Den Larry nuh know say mi cyaa cross road.

"Mi cyaa cross enuh," I yelled so he could hear me.

"Wul on," he said pulling his car door and getting out.

He ran across the street to me and assisted me in crossing the road.

"Thanks, yaa Larry," I said getting in the seat behind him.

"Yeah man, a how yuh nuh gone a school today?" He replied.

"Yuh know say ih pickney dem inah mi class ago look bout them NIS today though," I replied.

"Oh oh, so yuh Wah mi drop yuh straight round there?" He asked.

"No man, Kayla uppa Rubis, mi and her go walk go, thanks though."

"Nuh say a word man."

When he dropped me off at the gas station I paid my fare and got out, thanking him.

I spotted Kayla standing typing away on her phone.

Mussi a text Ugly Trey.

I walked over to her and stood behind her tapping her shoulder.

Tell me why the little girl scream out, and make people start stare pah wi.

"Nuh do that again man Pinky," she held her chest.

"Yuh too extra man, come on."

"Wait nuh, mi waah go buy sumn inah the gas station," she said.

"Yuh mussi feel mi waah go stand up long round desso," I said walking into the gas station.

"Girl a just couple minutes to nine ih line could never be that long," she said.

"Yuh go si," I replied.

I bought a big 876 water, a pack of gum, and an Xbar while Kayla bought water and some other items.

"Come on man," I said pulling her along.

When we reached the office a good amount of people were around there.

"Si Wah mi tell yuh," I said to Kayla.

I could spot a few of my classmates including Zachary and Danay. Danay did come early because her mother had a 7:00 am shift at the hospital today.

"Dem ppl yah cyaa gaa dem yard," Kayla mumbled as I walked to the security who was handing out numbers.

"Gyal nuh business the people dem come handle just like we," I chuckled.
