(Y/N) looked at the clock as they stroked Luka's hair. They had watched a movie after Luka attacked (Y/N) with what seemed like endless kisses and eventually cuddled up while Luka took a nap, his head rested on (Y/N)'s shoulder. 9:00 pm, (Y/N) knew they were going to have to either wake Luka up so they could say goodbye or try and sneak out of his room without him waking up. (Y/N) smiled, looking down at Luka's sleeping face and kissing his forehead, and making the attempt at getting out of bed. They were sitting up before an arm wrapped itself around their waist and pulled them back into bed.

"Nope, no leaving," Luka whispered against their ear, his tired voice making it evident he didn't have the energy to argue "All mine for tonight."

(Y/N) had to hide the fact that they were blushing, if Luka knew how badly they didn't want to leave he'd find a way to keep them there "I know, and I am all yours- all the time. But I need to get home," they said, tucking Luka's hair behind his ear "I can't come over again if I'm grounded."

"Owen won't ground you for sleeping over on a school night," Luka retorted, huffing in frustration.

"I know he won't, but I have things to do tonight and it's already late." (Y/N) pouted

Luka looked at (Y/N) for a long time, just taking in every single detail of their face as he tended to do, before rolling over so (Y/N) could get up and out of bed. "Kiss," Luka whined as (Y/N) was opening his door. (Y/N) smiled and rushed back over, holding both sides of his face as they pulled him for a long, warm kiss to send him back to sleep "I love you," he whispered as (Y/N) pulled away.

"I love you too"

(Y/N) was practically a zombie going into school the next day. Going home so late knowing they had to clean, finish up homework, and work on some stuff for Kitty Section was not a good idea. What they thought was going to take three hours ended up taking five. (Y/N) didn't even register that the car had pulled up to the school until after the driver gave them a smile and told them to have a good day as he got the door for (Y/N) and it didn't register that they had stumbled over their own two feet heading up the stairs until a strong pair of arms caught them.

"Well good morning to you too," Adrien said with a smile as he helped (Y/N) stand, offering his hand when he noticed how much they were swaying "Are you okay?" his expression turning worried "You look really out of it."

(Y/N) managed a nod, "Just stayed up really late last night, thanks for saving me back there."

"Just doing what a good friend would do, (Y/N)" he couldn't help but laugh a little at the situation, they just got on civil terms and he was already keeping (Y/N) from falling up the stairs. "Do you need my arm to help you get to class or do you think you'll manage?"

(Y/N) let out a laugh, pulling their arm back "Yeah, I'll be okay. I'll pass out at home, take a nap at lunch, I've done this before." they answered as they opened the school's entrance, going to class with Adrien trailing after them, he got especially close when going up the stairs just in case they fell. (Y/N) felt a little guilty with Adrien so close, it felt mean to Luka even if he wasn't there to see it. But Adrien was just trying to be a good friend and prevent an accident. They finally parted ways when Adrien sat upfront with Nino and (Y/N) took their spot in the back, they frowned when they noticed Juleka wasn't there, was she sick? Where was Rose?

(Y/N)'s train of thought was quickly interrupted by Mrs.Bustier stepping out from behind her desk and starting class. They found themselves zoning out, their head dipping as Mrs.Bustier talked about whatever the homework was last night that (Y/N) did but didn't remember doing. (Y/N) would have just passed out since they were in the back but alas the seats were elevated the further back you were so there was no hiding. Rose and Juleka were both out so (Y/N) was stuck keeping themselves awake with the occasional pinch just to keep their eyes open.

After the longest yet shortest class of all time, the bell rang, and Adrien got up from his seat to meet with (Y/N) to wake them up for the next class. (Y/N) flinched when he gently shook their shoulder, whispering something about how it was time for chemistry.

"Tell her I'm sick," (Y/N) groaned, closing their eyes again "better idea: Tell her I died and I'll never have to go into that stupid class ever again."

Adrien laughed, surprised by their comment "Counteroffer: I buy you coffee or whatever drink you want that'll wake you up if you come with me to class and sit through the whole thing." He smiled, (Y/N) could never figure out how people didn't know Adrien was Chat Noir, they both had the same energy when it came down to it.

"You drive a hard bargain, Agreste." (Y/N) said, getting up and heading to class, Adrien right next to them.

"It feels wrong hiding this from (Y/N), dont you think?" Rose said. Juleka had called Rose and told her to skip school with her and Luka. Juleka had finally done a little more detective work and Luka agreed Rose should know what was going on.

Luka nodded, looking sad as he sifted through articles and all of the notes Juleka took "Yeah, but we don't know where they are in the grieving process and this whole...thinking their parents were intentionally murdered thing could definitely make things worse"

Juleka nodded, "but Rose has a point. We have no idea what kind of stuff we're gonna find if we look deeper into this. It's a huge invasion of privacy."

"You're the one who started looking into it," Luka teased, trying to keep the atmosphere light. He set the notebook down, folding his hands in his lap "We agreed we'd only tell them if we found anything that had any real proof that something made the accident more than an accident."

Juleka nodded, worried about how this could effect Luka and his relationship with (Y/N). This was all uncharted territory and everything was speculation at his point. "I know, I'm still hanging onto this has something to do with hawkmoth or the miraculouses- miraculi? I don't know the plural for it- my point is why didn't ladybug's magic heal (Y/N) after the first attack? They were in the hospital for two weeks!"

Luka sighed "You have a point but what do we know about that stuff? We're not heroes, we don't know more than what the ladyblog posts and even that's not enough."

Rose looked between the two siblings, it was interesting seeing them be serious about something. They really were considering every possible angle this could possibly be looked at. Still, it felt wrong keeping secrets from (Y/N)

"That was so not worth the coffee," (Y/N) sighed as they stretched their arms, feeling their back crack slightly as the day finally ended "However, I will admit it was cool learning that the school had that."

Adrien smiled, grabbing (Y/N)'s bag for them as they headed out of class "See? You learned something today and I'd call that a raging success."

"It was, wasn't it?" (Y/N) said, having a newfound appreciation for the glass half full approach to things Adrien seemed to have. Adrien made sure (Y/N) was on the left side of him so they could grab the railing while they headed down the stairs. Adrien only gave (Y/N) their bag when they were sat in the car and (Y/N) waved with a smile as they pulled away.

"Going to Luka's again, (Y/N)" the driver asked

"If you don't mind," they said, adjusting their seatbelt.

(Y/N) just walked right on deck and rushed to Luka's room, not noticing how empty the houseboat was. They opened the door with a smile, pizza in hand before freezing at the sight before them.

"So this is where you guys were," (Y/N) said as they set the box down. They noticed the papers and articles strewn across the floor and picked one up, a frown on their face as they saw the picture of their parents "why do you have this?" .

Luka spoke up first "We just thought- well-"

"What did you think Luka, that you could print out articles about my very recently dead parents and take notes on it like it's a school project? Are you serious?" (Y/N) said, trying to keep their voice calm.

"There was something off about the accident, (Y/N)." Juleka said, trying to take the heat off of Luka "We think someone did something shady and-"

"It was an accident, that's what the cops and doctors told me and my family. Why the hell did you guys think doing this without telling me was a good idea?" (Y/N) said, their arms crossed. "You know what, I don't even want to know. I can barely keep it together as it is. Enjoy the pizza I'm going home" (Y/N) said, turning right back around and slamming the door shut behind them, leaving the group in stunned silence.

"I've never seen them get so angry before..." Rose said, her voice trailing off

Luka sat with his head hung low, nodding in agreement "maybe looking into it is a bad idea"

He picked up on the second ring, his voice badly hiding his surprise "(Y/N)? I thought you were going to Luka's to hang out."

"We were," (Y/N) sighed, they knew it was childish to react and storm off the way they did but there was no taking it back now. "You can totally say no but do you want to hang out?"

"Sure!" His voice answered "Same cafe?"

"Yup"

"Awesome, I'll be there in twenty." He replied

"Thanks, Agreste. Feel free to bring friends it'll be my treat."
