Here, you will learn the basics of being a pro. And what it means to fight in the name of good! Let's get into it. Today's lesson will pull no punches!" Fight training Real combat? "You worried that this looks stupid, trust me you'll be fine," He says patting me on my back. "You sure" "Yea"

"Hey Izu" "hu oh hey Ben, your uh costume" He looks me up and down.

"Yea it's a little tighter than I wanted but it's fine, I have this hoodie and shorts to cover most of it up," I say putting my hands in my pocket. "Y-yea," he says, turning the other way. "Ah! Hey, Aizawa, Deku" We both turn to face Uraraka. "Hey," I say looking at her. "Uraraka!" Izuku says blushing. "Love both of your guy's costumes! Not too flashy, ya know?" "Yea, your costume looks nice," I say looking at her. "Yeah, I should've been more. This bodysuit is skintight. Not really my style." "Yea me too, It was a pain to get on" "Yea mine too"

"Now that you're ready, it's time for combat training." "SIR!" Iida yells, I jump at the sudden shout. "This is the fake city from our entrance exam. Does that mean that we'll be conducting urban battles again?" "Not quite. I'm going to move you two steps ahead. Most of the villain fights you see on the news take place outside. However, statistically speaking, run‐ins with the most dastardly evildoers take place indoors. Think about it. Backroom deals, home invasions, secret underground lairs. Truly intelligent criminals stay hidden in the shadows. For this training exercise, you'll be split into teams of good guys and bad guys, indoor battles." Allmight explains the lesson. "Isn't this a little advanced?"

"The best training is what you get on the battlefield! But remember, you can't just punch a robot this time. You're dealing with actual people now."

"Sir, who decides who wins?" "How much can we hurt the other team?" "Do we need to worry about the losers getting expelled like earlier?" "Will you be splitting us up based on chance or comparative skill?" "Isn't this cape très chic?" I nod at the last comment.

"I wasn't finished talking! Listen up." Allmight then opens a little book A script? "The situation is this. The villains have hidden a nuclear missile somewhere in their hideout. The heroes must try to foil their plans. To do that, the good guys either have to catch the evildoers or recover the weapon. Likewise, the bad guys succeed if they protect their payload or capture the heroes. Time's limited, and we'll choose teams by drawing lots!"

"Isn't there a better way?" Iida asked. "Think about it! Pros often have to team up with heroes from other agencies on the spot, so maybe that's the reason we're seeing that here." I explained to him. "Yes, I see. Life is a random series of events. Excuse my rudeness." "No sweat. Let's draw!"

I end up on team D with Iida and Kacchan. "I declare that the first teams to fight will be...these guys"

"Team A will be the heroes, Team D will be the villains. Everyone else can head to the monitoring room to watch!" "Yes, sir!" I walk up to Izuku. "Well I guess we're enemies for now," I say, putting a hand on his shoulder. "Oh yea" "anyway can't wait to beat your ass bye Izu," I say walking away from him.

"Yea, wait what?" I laugh a little. "Bad guys, you can go on in and get set up. In five minutes, the good guys will be let loose and the battle will start!" "Young Iida. Young Bakugo. Young Aizawa. The key to being successful in this challenge is to embody villainy. Think from the perspective of an evildoer." "Got it!" "If things go too far, I'll step in." "Alright"

In the building

" Even though this is training, it pains me to be aligned with criminal behavior," Iida says, tapping on the weapon. "So this is the weapon we must protect. Fake, of course."

"Hey!" Me and Iida turn to face Kacchan. "Hm?" "Do you really think Deku has a Quirk?" "Yea I mean did you see him throw the ball," I say sitting on top of the weapon. "Tch." "Why is it that you seem to be especially angry when it comes to Midoriya?" "Because he and Izu are enemies," I say, sliding off the weapon. "Really!?" Iida says in surprise. "Nah im just joking I really don't know" *Silence* "Hey I got an idea, you get rid of all of this junk in case Uraraka comes here" "sounds like a great Idea Aizawa" "thanks and please call me Ben" "ok Ben" I smile at him though he couldn't see it. "I do have a question for you Ben" "shoot" "why does your costume look so American" I laugh a little. "How can something look American?"

"Well, a lot of people's costumes look professional your look like you just threw a shirt and some shorts on it" "Well I wanted something simple, I didn't really want to stand out and pulse with the body suit under it I am really flexible and there are holes for my webs to come out of" "Smart"

"All right! Let's begin the indoor combat training! Team A and Team D, your time starts now!" "All ready?" "Let's get started with the plan then"

"Kacchan you can't just go alone" "Shut up nerd" "If you're going I'm coming with you, Iida you protect the bomb ok bye." Me and Kacchan walk out. "So what's the plan," I say walking next to him. "Getting Deku" "So if you're going to get Izu, i'm going to get Uraraka" "go ahead just don't get in my way" "I'll try my best."

When we got close I turned invisible and stayed behind Kacchan. He then suddenly jumps and sends an explosion at them. I stay invisible waiting for my chance to get Uraraka.

"Uraraka, you okay?" Izuku asks her. "I'm fine. Thanks, Oh, Deku ""It's just my mask ""What's the matter, Deku? Afraid to stand up and fight me? I knew you'd come at me first. And figured you'd try to catch me by surprise." Izuku stands up. "I won't hurt you so bad they'll have to stop the fight. Just close!" Kacchan throws a right hook at Izuku but he catches it. 'Impossible. How'd he know? He's not that good!' Izuku slams him to the floor. "Kacchan. You always use a big right hook to start a fight. I know because I've watched you for years. I analyzed every amazing hero, even you. I wanted to learn everything I could about them. It was all in the notebook you burned and threw away. You can call me Deku, but I'm not the same helpless, defenseless kid anymore! You hear me? I've changed. From now on, Deku is the name of a hero!"

"Deku. You're shaking in your boots, you're so scared." Kacchan makes explosions in his palms. "But you wanna fight me anyway. That's why I hate you!"

Flashbacks

'Ben, Kacchan, and I grew up in the same neighborhood, so we've known each other since we were little kids.'

"Come on! Let's fight bad guys!" little Kacchan yells.

'All the other neighborhood kids followed him around. It seemed like he could do anything. And no matter what he decided to do, he was always so confident. I thought he was the coolest person I'd ever met. However... After his Quirk manifested, he started to change.'

"Bakugo! Come in! Give me a status report. Where are you?" "Just shut up and defend the weapon. I've got more important things to worry about." "Are you forgetting what our mission is? Hello? He hung up on me! This isn't the time for radio silence. We're supposed to be partners. Argh!"

Kacchan was about to attack again before Izuku yelled out "Ah! Uraraka! Go!" She starts to run. Finally I ran after her.

She runs a little far away from Izuku and Kacchan so I took my chance and attacked. I tackled her and I used one of my hands to pin her arms above her head so she couldn't use her quirk, I then used the other to shoot webs at her legs so she couldn't move "Ha, got you" I say. She struggles to get out of my grasp. 'he pinned my wrist down so my hands can't touch him, so I can't use my quirk, ahh what am I gonna do' '"The key to being successful in this challenge is to embody villainy. Think from the perspective of an evildoer."' I smirk, "Let's have some fun" I let go of her and took off the webbing. She immediately tried to hit me but I dodged and turned invisible again. I then go behind her and kick her. She stumbles for a second and turns to face me. "Come on, can't you go any better?" I chuckled as I walked towards her. 'He's playing the part isn't he' She starts to run towards me with her hand out. Before she could touch me I put her hand in a bubble. "Hu?" I then kick her in the stomach. She falls to the floor groaning in pain. I take the bubble out of her hand and absorb it. Then I touch her and she starts to float. "Hu? What? How?" She looks at me in disbelief. "It's a new trick Kacchan helped me with," I laughed at her.

Flashback from the other day

"Are we gonna do this?" Kacchan says getting into a fighting stance. "Hell yea" I then lunge towards him. I try to throw a punch at him but he dodged and sends an explosion to my back. I slam to the floor. "Argh! Take it a little easy would ya" I say standing up and holding my stomach. "I wanna know how you did that bubble thing," Kacchan says standing in front of me. "Hu? Oh, that, I have no Idea" I say shrugging my shoulders.

"Well, it happened when you touched" "Alright" I touched Kacchan with a bubble and held it. "So what do I do now" "try throwing it" "k" I threw it." now snap your finger" I did and it exploded. "Wow, Let's do that again!" I say with excitement. "Alright," We did this a couple of times before I tried something new. I held the bubble with an explosion inside of it. I thought of absorbing it and it happened. "Hey want did you do," Kacchan says walking up to me. "I-I don't know I just thought of absorbing the bubble and it just went into my skin" "Well what is that supposed to do," He says grabbing my hand. All of a sudden an explosion came out of it. "Ahh! WHAT THE HELL" "I'M SO SORRY I DON'T KNOW HOW I DID THAT" I say in a panic, The explosion hit his face. "I, I think I just used your power" "How?" "You think I know?"

"It's amazing Isn't it, using your quirk against you," I say walking under her. "How about you come down now." I put my fingers together and she falls to the floor. I then shoot a web at her back and swung her at the wall. I laugh at her. "Now will you look at that, poor little hero too weak to even stand" I grab her hair and made her look at me "What's your next move?"

Then I feel her touch my knee. Shit I start to float. "That," She says. "Man this sucks," I say, hitting the ceiling. "Bye-bye Aizawa," She says, running to where the Bomb was. Then out of nowhere, I fall to the floor face first. "Agh, my nose," I say holding it. "God dammit" I stand up and walk to where she ran.

"Found it. Now I just have to tell Duku. And try my best to stay outta sight until he gets up here." *GASPS* "Bakugo definitely has a villainous side. And that's exactly what we need to succeed in this mission. I need to temporarily devote myself to criminal intent. Yes. I won't fail this trial and risk bringing shame down on the Iida family name. That means...I must now embrace evil... to become a hero! Behold! I am the personification of villainy!" *Evil Cackles* 'He's so serious.' Urarka tries to hold her laugh.

"Hm? Uraraka, is that you?" "Uh..." "I knew you would come here alone the instant that Bakugo ran off by himself and engaged with Midoriya. But I would have thought Ben would have fought you. I guess he was not as strong as I thought. Nevertheless. Your Quirk allows you to float anything that you touch, but I've prepared for that. By hiding every object in this room so you have nothing to use against me, do‐gooder! My dastardly tricks have rendered you helpless! You've blundered, hero!" *evil laughter*

"Um, Deku?" Uraraka says, speaking into the headset. "I'm here. How's it going?" "So I think I got rid of Aizawa for a little but Iida knows that I'm here. Sorry. Right now he's monologuing."

She got Ben? "Where are you?" "Near the middle of the fifth floor." *GASPS* Right Above me We probably don't have much time left, now. We have to finish this fast or they win! I won't give up yet. I can capture Kacchan. I won't lose! *Ding* *GASPS* "I'm all loaded up." "What does that mean?" "Why aren't you using your fancy Quirk? Don't tell me you're underestimating me, Deku. Get over here and show me what you're really made of." 'I have no choice. I have to face him. Right now!' "Kacchan. I'm not scared of you anymore."

"Heh. Since you're such a stalker, by now you probably know how my Quirk, Explosion, works. I secrete nitroglycerin‐like sweat from my hands and make it blow up. Imagine what I could do if I had a lot of it. That's right, these gauntlets aren't just for show. They've been storing up my sweat inside for one monster blast." He says about to pull out the thing that makes it explode

'No, he's going too far!' "Young Bakugo! Don't do it! You'll kill him!" "He'll be fine as long as he dodges!" And he pulled it out all the way. A monster blast headed towards Midoriya. I feel the building shake. What the hell? "Come in! Come in, Midoriya!" Midoriya sits up "Is that even allowed?" Bakugo Walks toward him. "Haha, These are awesome. The more nitro sweat that's stored in these gauntlets, the stronger the explosion is. Go ahead. Use your stupid Quirk on me, Deku. Even if you give me everything you've got, you'll never beat me."

"Hey, Kacchan what just happened," I say speaking through the headset. "Bakugo. Answer me! What is going on down there? Did you cause that blast?" I make it to the room where the Bomb is in. I turn invisible and lean on a pillar watching Iida do his thing. 'Now's my chance! If I can claim the weapon, that means we win!' "Not so fast, Hero!" Then Uraraka starts to flote *GASPS* 'I just have to touch the weapon. In one move, this'll all be over.' "Since when can she make herself float?" 'Release!' She begins to fall towards the weapon. 'This special move is hard, but it's worth it!' But before she could touch it Iida moved the weapon. Uraraka falls and tumbles into a wall. "Admirable attempt, but your Quirk's no threat if you can't touch anything. I can easily keep this weapon out of your reach until time runs out." *more EVIL LAUGHTER* 'It's not over, I won't let Deku down.'

"What's the matter? You look scared. You dodged the attack, so you can still fight, can't you? Come and get me." Kacchan shouts. "Come in, what's the situation?" Izuku asks Uraraka. "Are you ignoring me again? I'll get your attention."

"The pillar by the window. Get there now!" Izuku yells into the headset. "We'll fight hand‐to‐hand!" Kacchan jumps towards Izuku. 'It's no good.

I can't dodge this! I'll have to counterattack! Like this!' He tries to throw a punch but Kacchan moves behind him and then sends an explosion to his back. "Here it comes, nerd! The famous right hook you were whining about!" He then slams his gauntlet into Izuku's elbow and grabs his arm. "Deku! Don't you ever forget what you are!" he then Slams him into the floor. "You're a weakling!"

He's not giving me any time to form a strategy. I can't beat him without a Quirk after all. He's too good. I have no choice. I have to use it. Izuku runs away to a wall. "Why won't you use your damn Quirk against me? Still think you can stop me without it?" Kacchan starts to walk towards Izuku "That's not it." "You've been hiding your true power for years. What's the deal, Deku? Did you think you were better than me this entire time?" "That's what you think? You idiot. You've always been stronger, Kacchan. I know that you're better than me. Can't you see? That's why I wanna beat you. Because you're amazing!" "You're even more of an idiot than I realized. Come at me!'' They both ran at each other. "Uraraka, Now" Uraraka then grabs ahold of the pillar I was leaning against, all of the sudden the hairs on the back of my neck began to stand up. Ah, shit I can't beat you. Not in a one‐on‐one fight like this. But I can win! Then Izuku smashes a hole through the floors of the building. I was sent flying through a window. "What's happening?" "This is it! Sorry, Iida! Improvised special move: the Comet Home Run!" "In the name of villainy, I demand that you stop this!" "Release!" Uraraka lands on the weapon. "I got it!"
