The sun shined bright in the sky over a playground. "Hey get your fat hands off of me!" I yell struggling to get out of a kid's grasp. I get tied to a tree. "Now stay out of the way" says a kid with devil-like wings. Izuku trembling with his hands in front of him looking like he's ready to defend, with a little boy behind him laying on the floor. "Why are you being so mean, you're making him cry kacchan, If you keep on hurting him I- I'll stop you myself!" Kacchan laughs, "You want to pretend to be a hero." An explosion comes out of his hands. "You don't stand a chance without a quirk, Deku" he smiles. Izuku gasped and tried to block himself with his hands, but the other kids were too strong.

Next thing I knew he was on the floor, I got myself off the tree and ran leaned over him. "Are you ok, Izu?"

He was on the floor, I get myself off the tree and ran to him. "Hey Izu, are you ok?"

Here's the sad truth

"Come on Ben," Midorya said, pulling me by my arm. "I know, I know".

If anything, it pushes us to be better

We arrive at the villain attack.

"Wow, a giant Villain!"

Detharms hold up the debris that fell because of the villain. Then backsplash came and blocked off the area. Then, finally, the wood hero Kamui Woods appeared.

Me and Izuku tried to push our way through the crowd, to get a better look at what was happening. "Ah, this is going to be good, Bens." He says, shaking me with excitement.

a "IT'S KAMUI WOODS!!!" He shouts. I move my head away from him, "He may be new, but he's making a big name for himself." "Why, look at that dopey grin and I know what you are... A Fanboy" the man next to us says. "Uh... Sorta..." Izuku says, rubbing his neck.

"Assault, robbery, and illegal use of powers during rush hour traffic...You are the incarnation of evil!" Woods says using his special move.

Then out of nowhere this huge woman lady thing comes up and kicks the villain. We all froze for a second. "What was that thing?" I was surprised.

Then all the men took out their cameras and started to take pictures and started chanting something under their breaths "Money shot, money shot, money shot..." The lady leans down and picks up the villain by the toe "Piece of cake for the world's next hottest hero" She says looking at the crowd."Hi there everyone, I'm Mount Lady. And you don't have to worry about this bum anymore." "Money shot, money shot, money shot..."

After the Fight, me and Izuku grab our notebooks.

*Click* *Click* *Click* "Damn~, Heyyy Izu you have a pencil mine's out of led" I say unzipping his bag. "Oh yea, it's the-" "Front one got it," I say, unzipping it and grabbing one. "Ok, soo" I flip through my pages to get to an empty one. "Her quirk is Gigantification so it would be helpful to use while fighting big guys like that one back there," I say, writing things down. "Well, she's definitely got the looks and attitude to be a crowd favorite," Izuku said after me. "Even though her quirk is good in big areas, her quirk can destroy a lot of things if there's not enough room."

"Yea, you're right. So, that means she might not be very useful..." He says trailing off into mumbling. "What's that fanboys? You're taking notes over there? Wanna be a hero too, huh?" The man from earlier says. We look over in curiosity then Izuku laughs "Yes, more than anything!"

I grab my phone to check the time.

I grab his shoulder "You know we are going to be late for school right." He looked at me confused for a second but then immediately started to panic. "Oh my god Benny we got to go '' He then grabs my arm and starts to drag me. "Hey man slow dow-"

 *Bing~*

I ran into a pole. "Ben why did you let go oh, OH, Oh my god Ben are you ok!?" I hold my forehead. I groan in pain "Yeah just a bump." I sigh standing up. "Anyway let's get going." I then grab his wrist and start to drag him.

8:27 am

We arrive at school panting. "Thank god, we made it,'' I say with my hands on my knees, breathing heavily. "Yea-" He breathes in "let's go in."

We walked to class. When we entered I sat behind him but then my 'Friend' sat on my desk. "What happened to your forehead?" "Why do you need to know?" "Because it looks bigger than normal." He says flicking it. "Ow~, Kacchan what the hell!?" He laughs and says "I just wanna know why you have a bigger forehead than usual that's all." I sigh and shove him off my desk. He landed on the floor with a big thump. "Damn Kacchan you're heavier than usual" "The Hell you just say to me!?" I look down at him. "What's the matter, I just wanna know why you're fatter than usual" He stands up immediately, and small explosions come out of his fist. "You Little Quirkless Son of A Bi-''

*RING*

The bell rings, cutting him off and the teacher comes in holding a bunch of papers in his hand. "So... as third-year students, it's time to start thinking seriously about your futures and what you want to do with your lives. I could pass out some career aptitude tests. But.." he throws the papers into the Air. "Why Bother? I know you all want to go to the Hero Track!" Everyone cheers and uses the quirks. I slightly snicker at a kid with Pinocchio's nose. I'd rather stay quirkless than end up with a quirk like that

"Yes, yes, you've got some very impressive Quirks but no power usage allowed in school. Get a hold of yourselves..." "Hey, teach" I look over to see Kacchan with his feet on the desk and his hands behind his back. "Don't lump me in with this bunch of losers! I'm the real deal but these guys will be lucky to end up as sidekicks to some busted D-lister. Ha!" You won't get that far with that attitude either "You think you're better than us, Katski?!" A kid yells "Let's go, I'll take you all on!" Kacchan yells at them.

"Huh, you've got impressive test results. Maybe you will get into the U.A. High." The teacher says, going through the papers he has, "He's gonna try for the national school?!" "That school has a 0.2% acceptance rate!" "It's impossible to get in!" "And that's exactly why it's the only place worthy of me," Kacchan says, jumping onto his desk.

"I aced all of the mock tests. I'm the only one at this school who stands a chance of getting in. I'll end up more popular than All Might himself! And be the richest hero of all time!" He continues 

Man this boy needs to shut up "Oh yeah, Benjamin, Midoriya... Don't you two want to go to the U.A. too?"

I slump back in my seat out of embarrassment. Are you kidding me "Those two? You're kidding, right? There's no way of getting into the Hero Course without a Quirk." A kid says. Izuku stands up "Well, actually they got rid of that rule. we could be the first ones..." "Izuku sit down please" I whispered to him.

Out of nowhere Kacchan sends an explosion to Izuku. Then Kachhan sends an explosion toward Izuku. He falls to the floor and Kacchan looms over him "Listen up, Deku... You and Ben are even worse than the rest of these damn rejects, you Quirk-less wannabe! You really think they let someone like you in when they could have me?" He says. Izuku panics "No way! You've got it all wrong Really! I'm not trying to compete against you. You gotta believe me! It's just that... I've wanted to be a hero since I was little. I may not have a quirk...But I can still try my hardest, can't I?"

He says looking up at Kacchan. "You'd never be able to hang with the best of the best, you'd die in the exams!". Before he could finish the rest of his little speech I kicked him in the back on the leg and he fell to his knees. "You know you don't have to be a Jackass," I say, helping Izuku up. "WHAT DID YOU SAY TO ME SHORT ASS!?!" Kacchan yells making explosions "I said stop being such a bitch and Calm down," I say patting Izuku's back. "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU JUST CALL ME??? " He yells, "Bakugo, Benjamin sit down." "Yes sir," I say sitting in my seat "Short ass, "Kacchan says, walking to his desk. "Asshole," I whisper. He flips me off, I do the same.

1:05 PM

The bell rang meaning it was lunchtime. Me and Izuku gathered our stuff and we went to the roof. "sheesh it's cold today" I say raping my arm around myself. "Yeah," we walk to the edge of the roof and sit down. Our legs are hanging over the ledge. "So" I take a piece of his food.

"We are still eating at the shop later or.'' I look at him. "Umm sure I just need to tell my mom" "Alright." We were about to start eating before the door slammed open. "Oh, shi- Whow" I almost slipped off the edge but Izuku grabbed my arm. "Hey Short Ass come with me" 'Great Im fucked' "Hii Kacchan how's your lunch going" But he grabbed my collar. "Shut up and follow me". "Alright, I will be back Izu" "ok Ben be careful"

"Wait, Hey you're not dragging me down the stairs rig- hey! OW '' He starts dragging me down the stairs. When we get to the bottom he shoves me into an empty classroom. "God dam man, give a man a warning before you throw him into a classroom". "Shut up" he then locks the door. "Whoa whoa whoa kacchan I didn't know you swung that way, I mean you could have just asked me and I would gladly-" "Shut the Hell Up!" He said with a slight tint on his face. "Oooh is little kacchan flustered?". I say egging him on. "I said SHUT THE HELL UP '' I then got a sudden blow to the face. Well deserved. My head hit a desk and I fell to the floor. "Ah! That's going to leave a mark-SHIT'' I then get kicked in the stomach. "YOU REALLY THINK YOU CAN MAKE IT INTO U.A.'' I struggle to get up "Nope but I am hoping I beat your ass in the exam to get in" I am in a fighting stance. "Now are we going to do this or not? '' Kacchan laughs then I get punched in the gut. Never mind he was about to send an explosion but I duck out of the way. "Holly shit I did not think this through'' Then a desk gets thrown at me.

"WHO THE HELL THROWS DESK AT PEOPLE," I say my back against a wall with a broken desk next to me. "SHUT THE HELL UP" Then another explosion gets sent to me but before I can get hit I swiped a foot under him and he fell over. I then pin him against the floor. "Ha," I breathe in "I got you". Then I get head-butted. "SHIT" I hold my nose. "Ahhh That hurt". I looked at Kacchan and then suddenly got pinned to the wall. "So you're a little fruit bowl hu?" he titans his grip on my wrist. "If you knew what was good for you, you would do the whole U.A thing". I look into his eyes. "Nah". I look away but then get punched in the gut. "You good for nothing quirkless loser," Kacchan says leaving the room "Wow that was a mouth full". The door then gets slammed. I sigh. Man this hurts I get up leaning against a wall. "Ahh, my stomach". I slowly walk to the roof again.

I open the door "Hey Izu can I get a little help here" I say holding onto the door. "Oh my god Miles what happened? '' he says, rushing towards me.

"Kacchan beat my ass". I say holding on to him.

"Come on, you need to sit down". We sat there for the rest of our lunch break.

End of school 3:36 PM

The bell rings and everyone starts to leave "Oh Yeah, we should go to karaoke tonight," "Yeah let's go." "Hey Izu I'm going to get some water really quick," I say tapping his shoulder. He looks at me and says "ok I will be here." I walk to the water fountain but before I could even get a sip I am shoved into a wall. "Ah good god man give me a heads up first," but then I get punched. "You really think you're going to talk to us that way" I look up and it is some of Kacchans friends. "I mean if you're going to shove me into a wall for no reason ye- Ah" I get kicked in the stomach. "I agree with Bakugo. Do you really think we're getting into a top school like U.A. without a quirk" "No actually I'm just trying to have fun you know," I say sitting up. Then I get picked up by my collar. Damn am I that light? Then I get punched in the stomach. "Jesus Christ, can you pick a new place to beat up?" I say, holding my stomach, My face is still throbbing from the first hit. "Actually I think I know how you can get into U.A." I look up "Really?" "yea.. Just kill yourself and hope you get a quirk in your next life". He laughs and walks away. what an ass. I walk back to the classroom to see Kacchan and two of his friends walking out of the classroom laughing. I walk up to him and grab his arm. "What did you do." But I get shoved into a wall Why does this keep happening to me.

"you know I could punch you right no-" "Then do it Pussy" I say before he could finish his sentence. A shocked expression appeared on his face. "Yea do it Katski!" One of his friends said. "Yea show this quirkless loser who's boss!" The other one chanted. "Can you come up with anything other than 'quirkless loser' because at this point it's just lazy" I say.

Kacchan puts me down and starts to walk away. "Let's go, we don't need to waste time on him," He said as his friends followed. I sigh and walk into the classroom and see Izuku packing his stuff. "What happened?" I ask.

"nothing" he whispers. I grab my bag and look at him "Where is your notebook?" I ask him. He looks out the window with a sad look. I sigh and look at him. "Let's go," I say, grabbing his wrist and dragging him out of school. We walked to the fountain where his notebook landed. "My dreams turned into Fish food," He says behind me. I grab his notebook "You can use my notebook" I say handing him his notebook. "No, it's fine". We walk in silence. Thinking about it...killing myself doesn't sound like a bad idea' I look at Izuku, He's lost in thought 'No I can't do that to him, or my dad, I can't leave them, but damn being one of the only people in this school without a quirk sucks I touch my stomach and flinch with the touch this actually hurts. I then remember something Oh that's right "hey Izu can I stay at your house for the night my dad has the night shift again" He doesn't look back at me "yeah sure". I look at the sky man I wish I could be a hero, I mean I looked up to heroes my whole life

"Please, I promise this is going to be the last time, Pinky swear" little me says begging my older sister. "Benny you said that 5 times, you promise this is the last time" She says, bending down to my height. "Yes, just one more time," she laughs. "Ok lets go" She stands up and walks to the computer. 'I love this video even though it was an old one. It was disaster footage from a long time ago. It was the debut of the greatest hero of all time'. The Video: "How is he? The guy's already saved a hundred people at least and it hasn't even been ten minutes" "This is... This is crazy!" "I can believe it!". A man with people on his back came out of the fire laughing. "Look he's got more!" "Fear not, Citizens!, Help has Arrived, Because I am Here!". The video ends.

"He's one of the best heroes in the world," I say, jumping on the chair. "Yes he is." She agrees "Do you think I can have a Quirk as amazing as his?" She kneels down to my level and pats my head. "Yea and you're going to be one of the best the world has ever seen".

"Sorry kid, it's most likely never gonna happen", I froze and looked at my mom. "Oh, so there is something different then?" She says putting me in her lap. "But, all of my siblings my age already got their quirk" I say trying not to cry. "Yea well it's 50/50 with you kid". The doctor says holding a clipboard. "What do you mean by that?" Mom say pulling me into her chest. "What I am saying is that looking back at his birth mother, her side of the family has a history of getting a quirk in life or not having one at all, and showing the statistics it's less than a 4% chance that he will develop a quirk". "Oh I see." I grab her shirt. "Mom I want to go home" My hands shaking as tears streamed down my face. "I know honey I know," She stands up with me in her arms. "Thankyou Doctor" And we walk out.

When we got home I just sat in my bed holding the Allmight action figure that Izuku gave to me with my sister sitting by me. "d-do you think I will be.. Able to be a hero just like Allmight, being able to save people with a smile on my face". She takes a deep breath. "Yea, Benny I think you're going to be an amazing hero, the best one the world will ever see". I sob for a long time after that night.

We started to walk undo a tunnel and out of nowhere, Izuku began to laugh. I jump at the sudden emotion. Well, at least he's smiling. Then we hear a swirling noise. When we turned around we see a villain. "You'll make a perfect skin suit for me kid" "Izuku!" I get in front of him but then get thrown into a wall and the goo went into my nose and throat. "Shut it, kid". "Stop squirming around I'm just taking over your body. I will be easier for you if you don't fight back, it will only hurt for a minute. You'll feel better soon". I can't... Breath Izuku tries to claw himself out but it was to no avail "Grab all you want, my body's made of fluid. ". I should just give up... "Thanks for the help, You're a real hero kid" My body... getting...weak... I think I'm dying... No way... this is the end...somebody... Help. "HAVE NO FEAR, Now that I am here, that is" It was Allmight?. "... Texas... SMAAAASH!!". "I can't hold it together" the villain exploded. I drop from the wall. I turn to see Allmight. "Oh my god," I say just staring at him. "Aw yes that's me and who-" He moving and just staired at me, but he quikyly shook it off. "And who are you young one?". "Benjamin" "Yell young Benjamin you are safe now," he says picking put the villain off of the wall. "Yeah" I turn to see Izuku on the floor. "Jesus Izu" I go over to him and check if he was breathing, he was. "I know just how to wake him up," Allmight says walking over to us. He bends down and starts to slightly slap him in the face. I just sat there in confusion. Then he woke up.

Is that... All...Might?.

"Hey... Wake up" Izuku fully opened his eyes. "Hey! Thought we lost you there!" Izuku screamed weakly and moved back into his bag. "Well, looks like you're moving around all right. Sorry about that back there, I didn't mean to get you caught up in my jugest-ing. I usually pay more attention to keeping bystanders safe. But it turns out this city's sewer system is pretty difficult" damn he really talks a lot Anyway thank you! I've captured the evil-doer!". I see Izuku in the corner of my eye looking for something.

He brings out his notebook to see it is signed. How the hell did he do that? Izuku stands up and begins to praise the man "Thank you so much! This will be an heirloom, a family treasure passed down for generations to come!". "Uh-Huh!, Well I've gotta get this guy to the police so they can take care of him, stay out of trouble. See you two around!". "Wait your leaving, Already?" "Pro heroes are constantly fighting time as well as enemies!". He can't go yet. As Allmight was taking off, Izuku grabbed AllMights leg, and I grabbed Izuku's torso. "Hey Hey hey!What do you think you're doing!?" I'm wondering the same thing Allmight. "Let go, I love my fans but this is too much!". "No way we're flying!" I yell at him. "If I let go we'll die!" Izuku said, holding on as tight as he could. "Oh, you have a good point". I then felt something hit my head. I looked down to see the bottle with the villain was in the fall. Well, that's not good

We landed on top of a building. "My whole life flashed before my eyes," Izuku said leaning onto me for support. "Not a very smart move," Allmight said. "Bang on the door for a while, someone will let you in, now, I have to go, See you on the flip side". Thank god I am starving "Wait not yet". Izuku I love you but please I just want to go eat something I have to know... Sometimes I do feel like I'm a failure... like there's no hope for me. But even so... I'm not giving up, ever!

"Is it Possible to become a hero, even if we don't have Quirks? We are normal Kids without any powers. Could we ever hope to be someone like you?"

Meeting Allmight was a dream come true, a real miracle

Standing in front of us was the hero we Idolized most of our lives We didn't realize at the time

But that chase encounter would change the course of our future
