Then Derek approached me and leaned in. I could feel his breath on my skin and he spoke up with a deep voice:"You sure you can fight in that piece of clothing?".

"You're late", I rolled my eyes and ignored what he just said. Then I turned to the others,"So we're ready to leave?".

They agreed, but Derek didn't want one of his betas to drive his Camaro, so he drove them to the party in his car. I also didn't want anyone to drive my beloved car so I drove on my own. The others drove with Stiles.

Music was blasting and a ton of people were dancing and drinking in front of us. Derek and I decided to grab a few drinks first. We didn't talk at all, mostly because we didn't like each other.

After both of us drank three shots Allison passed us she gave me a sign, which I didn't understand so I quickly read her mind. She wanted me and Derek to look like we're happy to be here. I had to agree, we both looked extremely obvious.

I faced Derek and caught him already looking at me. So I spoke up with a smirk on my face:"Wanna dance, Hale?".

He rolled his eyes and looked away. God I hate him. I grabbed his face softly and turned it, so he would face me again.

"Don't be such a sourwolf", we stared at each other, but he didn't say a thing,"Or I'll dance alone". I quickly turned around walked to the dance floor.

I heard him growl annoyed:"Wait". I stopped with a triumphant smile on my face.

"We'll dance", he whispered in my ear when he stood behind me. His hand grabbed mine in a soft way and I followed him to the dance floor.

Derek was in front of me. He placed his hands on my hips and I put mine around his neck. A slower song started to play and we both moved to the rhythm. But I got bored. I can't be at a party with a hot man, even though it's Hale, and dance like a freshman.

I reduced the distance between us and let my hand glide over his chest, while staring him in the eyes. Derek slowly leaned down:"You really wanna play that game?".

Within seconds he let his hands sink lower and grabbed my bum, where he pulled me closer. There was no distance left between our bodies. His heart started beating faster and mine too.

It felt great to be close to him. We both let loose and his hands trailed all over my back. Every bit of my body he touched seemed to loosen up even more. I closed my eyes and let the music take over.

"What are they doing?", Stiles asked when he entered the party with Lydia. They just finished the mountain ash dust line.

"They're flirting", Lydia answered, still staring at me and Derek.

"Wow", he said shocked,"I've never seen him dance".

"I told you that they're hot as fuck", Lydia said with a big smile on her face,"Let's go and find Scott".

Meanwhile I already switched positions and pressed my back against his chest. Dereks hands trailed down to the top of my thigh. His head dipped into the crook of my neck, so I could feel his breath on my skin, heating everything up even more.

"Your dress is pretty short", he whispered with a raspy voice and a smirk on his face. He closed his eyes.

Unintentionally I tilted my head, making more room for him. His lips trailed over my skin, sending goosebumps everywhere he touched me. It wasn't a kiss, but still it let me thinking what we could do to.

Suddenly Derek's phone started to vibrate in his pocket, making him growl annoyed, because it destroyed the moment. He quickly answered the call. It was Scott, he told Derek, that Erica got Jackson to follow her. Now they have the kanima in the garage.

"You heard?", Derek asked after he hung up. I nodded and followed him to the garage.

Everyone was already standing in front of the door to the garage. Derek and I arrived. We didn't talk after our dancing.

„Everyone ready?", Scott whispered and we nodded. Then he opened the door and we saw Jackson and Erica making out. Allison immediately stepped in front of Lydia, so she wouldn't see them.

Within seconds I pointed my hand to Jackson and used my magic, that made him sink into his knees and growl in pain. Erica quickly jumped back. Lydia dared to take a look at her boyfriend and she almost screamed, but Allison stopped her.

I briefly touched his arm to make sure he's the kanima. My eyes closed and I had visions of every person he killed or attacked. A sharp pain went through my body and I fell back.

„Jolene? Are you alright?", Scott asked as he came up to me.

I nodded:"Yeah it's just a lot of power that I have to use. But he is the kanima, I had a vision of everyone he attacked".

„Well done", Jackson spoke up. But it wasn't his usual voice.

„It's the kanima master", Stiles stated,"What do you want?".

„Better let Jackson go or you'll die", the master said through Jackson. Then he started his transformation. Jackson wanted to turn.

„Everyone except the betas try and keep him in place", I hissed,"I can't hold Jackson any longer. I'll prepare the spell".

„You didn't already prepare it?!", Derek growled annoyed while Scott, Allison and he jumped at Jackson.

I rolled my eyes and stopped the pain spell I had on Jackson. Then I quickly faced the betas:"Hold your hand up".

They did like I told them to. Then I took the knife that Stiles gave me and I made a little cut in the plams of their hands.

„Ouch", Erica said annoyed, making me smile. I collected their blood in a bowl before the wounds healed already.

„You can go", I told Derek's betas and they helped their alpha, Scott and Allison. But it was too late. Jackson already turned and escaped through the garage door.

„The dust line hopefully works", Stiles said scared, but I just smiled by seeing the wolfs run after the kanima.

„You're thinking about Derek?", Lydia giggled,"Or why are you smiling?".

„Oh come on", I exhaled,"I don't like Hale. I just love seeing the wolves suffer".

„Oh I bet", she laughed,"I saw you dancing". I turned around in confusion. I didn't even think about someone else seeing me and Derek. Oh god.

But before I was able to answer, Stiles pointed his finger to something behind me with a frightened face. I turned around and saw what he meant. The kanima jumped at us after he subdued the wolves and Allison and he realized that he was trapped.

Within seconds I mumbled a spell and saved all of us. The kanima was now trapped in a ring of fire that he couldn't pass.

„Finally you decided to do something huh? The strong witch", Erica mocked me exhausted. I rolled my eyes.

„It was about time", Derek scoffed.

„No I enjoyed watching you dogs chase the kanima", I winked and then turned to Jackson with to bowl of blood in my hands.

„Oh Stop it", Scott said, when Derek tried to come at me,"Let her do her magic and after that you two can hate each other again". The alpha rolled his eyes.

I startet to say the spell and the blood in the bowl started to boil. The kanima started to turn back to its human form and the blood transferred into the ring of fire on top of Jackson.

When the bowl was empty I stopped the spell but before I was able to say something, a sharp pain went through my body and my blood tripped on the floor.
