Roommates

Zhang hao third person POV

Zhang hao hadn't really spoken to Hanbin since their make up. The two had stolen small glances and smiles among eachother but apart from those odd interactions they were too intertwined within their individual groups even throughout the elimination that it was only really until the second battle that they had the chance to interact once more.

It was now the day after the first elimination and Zhang hao had stood under the sign labelled 'TOMBOY' as he waited for Hanbin to choose his song. Zhang hao locked eyes with Hanbin as the boy turned to the Vocal and Rap positions, Zhang Hao watching him attentively as he tried to decide on a song. However as the boy got closer, and eventually stood in front of his team, ready to push someone out, Zhang hao broke eye contact, staring at the ground as he prayed Hanbin wouldn't kick him out.

It wasn't until Zhang hao heard the others gasp, and someone's footsteps trail off that he glanced back up, spotting Hanbin beside him, where Seunghwan once stood. Zhang hao couldn't help but to internally smile at the thought that Hanbin was in his team, sure he still felt a little upset and frustrated with the boy at times but he couldn't help but to also want to get to know him better.

It didn't take long for the filming to wrap, as they were instructed each by staff members where their team dorms would be, as it was already late and members would have some time to start brainstorming ideas to begin tomorrow. His team nodded in reply at the room numbers as Hanbin placed a gentle hand on Zhang hao's shoulder causing him to turn to face the other. Hanbin had is classic grin, kitten whiskered dimples and all.

"I'll see you there okay?"

He chuckled, before patting the others shoulder once more and heading off, leaving Zhang hao to his own thoughts.

Zhang hao had returned to his old dorm, picking up his bag that rested to the wall, his room already cleaned for whoever housed it next. He hugged Keita and Zihao, telling them how much he would miss sharing a room with them before heading outside the door, leaving them to finish packing their last few things.

He then headed to the floor of his new dorm, feeling slight butterflies at the change in group. His teammates were a bit strange for him. Not only was he the only G group trainee but aside from Hui his tensions with the others made him anxious. Gunwook for their rivalry during Kill this love and Hanbin for obvious reasons. As he got closer to the rooms, he noticed the three leaning against the wall across from the door, seemingly waiting for him.

"Hi guys"

He spoke, a clear unsteadiness to his tone, as the others eyes all darted towards him, causing the Global trainee to awkwardly gulp. He leaned on the wall next to Hui, who he was most comfortable with, picking at his nails as he waited for someone to speak up.

"We were waiting for Hao to come join us, but now that he has, let's decide rooms. The staff told me we will have 2 people in each and a spare bed in the center."

Zhang Hao nodded as he watched Hui confidently speak, he was made for a leader that was for sure. The boy then looked over briefly at the other too, glancing away before he could awkwardly interlink eyes with Hanbin.

"Hao hyung and I will be together"

Hanbin spoke confidently as the others glanced at him confused, shock visible on Zhang Hao's face as his cheeks slightly warmed due to the attention that was brought to him. Hui turned to look at Zhang Hao as if to ask if it was okay, as he shyly nodded in response.

"Okay Hanbin and Zhang Hao you go to the left room and Gunwook and I will be in the right."

Hui handed out each of them a key before directing Gunwook to follow him to which the maknae quickly obeyed, leaving the two centers alone once more. Zhang Hao took no time to pause, quickly following Hui's movements and darting to the left door, luggage in hand, as Hanbin slowly trailed behind him. Zhang Hao placed down his bags pulling the key out of his pocket and inserting it, trying to open the door. He felt his hands sweat as he fiddled with it trying to get it open.

After a few fails, he felt Hanbin's warm breath on his neck, as the younger leaned over, putting his hand on Zhang hao's and slowly peeling it off of the door handle before successfully unlocking the door himself. Zhang hao stayed silent, withdrawing his key and walking inside the room. Without speaking, he sat down on the bed closest to the shower, taking off his shoes and sighing loudly as he fell back into it.

Zhang hao had pulled out his phone and began to scroll through Twitter reading his fans comments. A couple minutes later he heard the bed that was unattended squeak, looking over to reveal Hanbin, who sat, staring at Zhang hao.

"What?"

Zhang hao asked his eyes returning back to his phone as he heard the bed squeak once more, glancing up to see Hanbin's face above him. He felt his ears redden at the sudden attention while Hanbin's hand grew closer, his fingers brushing Zhang hao's forehead placing a stand of boy's hair behind his ear.

"Come watch a movie with me"

Hanbin whined as he created more distance between them, his hand redirecting to Zhang hao's as he pulled the older up and off the bed. Zhang hao stumbled slightly until he was on his feet. His mind still jumbled from the others constant touches, he knew Koreans liked skinship but were they normally like this? He shook off the thought.

"O-ok"

This story is not going to 100% reflect reality, I know that Hanbin and Hui shared rooms so please just ignore that for the sake of the plot.
