It Is Time

Zhang hao third person POV

For the days following the elimination, as Zhang hao moved to a different dorm, beginning his Over Me practice as five members, he found himself and Hanbin naturally distancing, not as to purposely avoid each other but rather due to a lack of free time. The Say My Name team dorm's were a level above Zhang hao's and the only time he saw the other was while Hanbin was eating within his teammates or during group activities, both in which he was unable to confront the Korean.

He couldn't deny that he didn't feel at least some sense of sadness to no longer be sharing a room with Hanbin, wishing he had realised his mistakes earlier and not left the younger alone for their last couple of days together. Although he wasn't sure if Hanbin returned the sentiment, considering they never fully confronted the tensions that remained between them and Zhang Hao never amassed the courage after the eliminations to apologise to Hanbin.

Zhang hao, since his revelation at the eliminations, had fallen deep for Hanbin, to the point where he had lost count of how many times he replayed their tomboy performance or even more Hanbin's Love Me Right fancam. It had became almost a part of his nightly routine as he hid under his sheets, so that his teammates couldn't see, smiling like an idiot at the sight of the younger performing on his screen.

He had eventually came to terms with the fact that he liked Hanbin more than just a friend, as days passed within his new team, the distance tore at his heart, only making him fall harder for the other center.

Zhang hao now laid in his bed as the sun began to set, wrapped into his blanket, watching the tomboy stage once more, when he had came to the conclusion to finally talk to the younger. As he had turned down Kuan Jui's request for them to go out for dinner and the rest of his teammates had agreed to go, he was now left alone in his dorm for a few hours. The coincidence and chance of opportunity, encouraging him to finally take action and settle the tension he had directly caused between them.

Zhang hao clicked out of the Tomboy stage and pulled up Matthew's contact details on his phone. He hadn't yet gotten a hold of Hanbin's number, but he knew that Matthew would be there to help him out, provided he shared what happened with the Canadian later. The boy had been constantly messaging Zhang hao, providing him updates about his best friend, and in some cases sending secret photos, ever since Zhang hao had called with Matthew for over a hour before confessing his potential crush. He thought for a second of what to say, before typing out a quick message and pressing send.

Hi do u mind asking Hanbin to come to my room to talk? It's the second room to the left on the floor below u 2!

Zhang hao leant his head against his bed frame, taking a shaky breath as he waited for Matthew to reply. He didn't know if he would ever truly be ready to admit his feelings to Hanbin but as their time left on the show continued to decrease and Zhang hao watched his friends be eliminated, he understood he had to at least clear the air between them or otherwise he may never get the chance to see the younger again. At least an apology was the first step he wished to take.

When he heard his phone chime, he checked the message, Matthew telling him that Hanbin had agreed and would be there in five minutes as Zhang hao immediately felt himself begin to panic. He grabbed his blanket and draped it over the camera in their dorm so that Mnet couldn't exploit their interactions or more record something the two would regret, before running to the mirror, straightening out his shirt and smoothing his messy bed hair.

As he put some pulled off the cap of his chap stick, he heard a knock signal from outside, his heart beginning to pound inside his chest. This would be the first time he interacted with the younger while being fully conscious of his crush. Zhang hao quickly applied the chap stick before running out to the door where Hanbin was waiting, gently turning the knob and swinging it open to reveal Hanbin, who had dark under eye circles and a frown plastered on his face. Zhang hao knew this was going to be difficult.

Update: I'm crying, kicking and screaming over zihao/supercharger. Going to go back and cry now.

Also please let me know if anything doesn't make sense and I'll fix it, I know the transition between Zhang hao's emotions may be badly written.
