Hanbin third person POV

Hanbin hadn't heard or even seen Zhang hao for days, K group and G group would go to eat at different times and considering him and Zhang hao were training for different songs they didn't share the same practice room. Hanbin had considered going to the room in which Zhang hao and his team trained, but him and the older were never that close so he decided it may be a little weird.

Hanbin had finished his training and cleaned up, putting on some black track pants and a white baggy shirt before sliding on his slippers. He was going to go to Matthew's dorm. Sure, Zhang hao and Matthew didn't stay in the same room but Hanbin thought the older may walk in, considering Matthew told him the team hung out a lot. Besides that was just a bonus possibility, to be able to spend time with Matthew would of been enough.

Hanbin reached Matthew's door, knocking softly as he waited for someone to come open it. It didn't take long until Matthew let him in, hugging him as he grabbed Hanbin's hand, dragging him to the top level of the bunk bed. None of his members were there, though Matthew had exclaimed that Zihao and Min had gone for dinner with some other G group contestants, Hanbin assumed that was who Matthew shared the room with. The two sat on the bed chatting and laughing together. It wasn't until about half an hour later that someone walked inside.

"Matthew do you have any toothpaste?"

Zhang hao spoke loudly, a whining tone to his voice as he walked inside. Hanbin's eyes quickly darted to Zhang hao as the boy walked in, his hair pulled back with a head band and face adorned with hello kitty pimple patches, Hanbin couldn't deny that he found it cute.Matthew hopped down from the bed and walked to Zhang hao, nodding and telling the other he would be right back.

Hanbin watched as the older smiled at Matthew before the Canadian ran to the bathroom to go find the toothpaste, he felt jealous that his best friend was even able to get such a reaction from Zhang hao compared to the sour faces Hanbin received. Zhang hao continued down the small hallway and into the bedroom, his eyes glancing around until they locked with Hanbin's, they widening slightly. Hanbin frowned, chewing on his lip as he watched the others uncomfortable expression.

"Hao hyung?"He asked quietly as he held his hand out through the framework of the top bunk calling for Zhang hao to come closer. To Hanbin's surprise Zhang hao moved closer, though didn't touch his hand as he hoped. He retracted it and instead sat back up, looking down at the older that was avoiding his eye.

"You know I don't want to hurt you right?"

Hanbin spoke gently, avoiding the urge he felt to touch Zhang hao's hair or put his hand on the others shoulder.

"Hanbin just leave it alone. Don't talk to me and I won't talk to you"

Zhang hao sounded bleak as he turned around and walked to follow Matthew to the bathroom, leaving Hanbin alone in his thoughts.

The younger groaned leaning his back against the wall as he sunk into it. He didn't understand why Zhang hao would hate him, he had never done anything to hurt him. He initially thought maybe he had ruined things the other night but Hanbin knew that wasn't true, he knew there was more of a reason as to why Zhang hao had blown up at him but he didn't know what it was or how to fix it. All Hanbin knew is that he couldn't just avoid Zhang hao, in fact he wanted to be close to Zhang hao like he had seen the older behave with Ollie and Kuan jui.

It didn't take long for Zhang hao to come back outside of the bathroom, thanking Matthew and rushing out, his eyes never once looking back at Hanbin. As the door closed, Hanbin looked back at Matthew as they shared a look of concern with each other.

"I don't know what to do"

Hanbin mumbled, running a hand through his hair as Matthew climbed back up to the top bunk next to him.

"I'm sorry hyung, I can't help you he doesn't even like me cause I mentioned you too much"

Matthew slouched down next to him, noticing how distressed Hanbin looked.

"You know you don't have to be close to him, even though you'll likely both debut, right?"

Matthew cracked the seal to a water bottle he had taken up with him, analysing Hanbin's expression as the Korean sat silently, shaking his head. Matthew knew what that meant.

"Hyung...can you be honest with me?"

There was no response, and Matthew paused taking a sip of the water.

"Do you have a crush on him?"

Matthew was blunt and casual sounding yet the question took Hanbin off guard. He looked over at Matthew his bottom lip now slightly puffy from biting it too much. Before a small chuckle escaped his mouth.

"Damn Matthew is it really that obvious?"

He joked as the two broke out into a laugh. Hanbin wasn't ashamed or afraid of telling Matthew about his crush, the two had always been able to notice when the other liked someone.It was only after several minutes that the two calmed down, Hanbin's laugh halted as he turned to see Matthew who adorned a more serious expression once more.

"On a proper note if you really do want to get close to him go talk to Kuanjui, Ollie or even Zihao, they might know why or what you can do"

Hanbin quickly nodded grinning at Matthew once more before engulfing him into a hug.

"Thanks. Will do"
