A month after Veronica broke up with you in relation to your betrayal with Maddy, the two girls were going to cross paths. Each of their high school cheerleading team were competing for the 22' championship title. And to your misfortune, they were the two finalists.

The game was going to take place in Riverdale High school gymnasium. Yours and Veronica's high school. With a scoot, you were seating down on the bleachers, with Cheryl by your side. You didn't wanna come for obvious reasons, but Cheryl insisted. She wanted you to attend and support your high school cheerleading team. She wanted you to set apart your break up with Veronica aside at least for today, and be hyped for the possibilities of your school winning the championship.

At the other side of the court, East Highland students were taking a seat on the bleachers. You noticed a few of Maddy's friends. From the ones you personally knew, Rue and Jules were there. There were two other girls with them, but you didn't know who they were.

" Oh, hi babe," Cheryl planted her girlfriend a kiss, as she took a seat next to her. It was Toni.

" Did I miss anything?," Toni asked, bumping fist with you.

Toni and you were really close, and she knew about Maddy when you were dating Veronica. Actually, the way you and Maddy met was through Toni's job.

One day, you went out to the bowling place where Toni works, and while talking to her, Maddy came into view with Rue and Jules.

You were hypnotized at the arrival of the brunette, and you couldn't help but stare at her.

" She's a regular," Toni nudged your shoulder, as you watch Maddy take a turn with the bowling ball. " She comes here every Saturday."

" She's beautiful," You whispered, and then cleared your throat once you realized what you said. " Sorry. Don't go telling Vero.."

She laughed. " Hell no, Y/n. There's nothing wrong about a compliment. She is hot, absolutely."

" So every Saturday?"

" Every Saturday."

And like that, you started to come in to the bowling place every Saturday. Your excuse to Veronica was telling her that you were going to ' hang out with Toni'.

In one of those nights, you got the courage to talk to Maddy. And the two of you immediately connected.

Your relationship with Veronica lately was filled with argues and disagreements. So when you met Maddy, it felt like a deep breath of fresh air.

And that specific night, you left the building with Maddy to a motel.

Thing was, Betty, Veronica's best friend, saw you opening your car door to Maddy. Obviously, it wasn't Veronica the one that was stepping in. So with a snap of a picture, she sent it to your girlfriend.

Maddy did know you had a girlfriend, because you brought it up to her. But you also knew that she was dating someone too. With similar issues you both shared with your significant other, the door opened for the two of you.

Was it a mistake? Yes. Are you at fault? Absolutely.

Toni knew your downs you had with Veronica, so in all this she stood quiet. She knew that it was none of her business to get in between whatever you had going on with Maddy. Veronica, though,  did ended up asking Toni if she was involved. After all, you were supposedly
' hanging out' with her every Saturday. So it grew a lot of suspicion towards Toni when the snap revealed your betrayal. But you defended her, and told her she wasn't. That Toni didn't know about Maddy.

In reality, she was not to blame. The one who let the doors open for Maddy, was you. Not her.

After Veronica broke up with you, Maddy had texted you, letting you know that her boyfriend had  also broken up with her. But in her side, Maddy was actually happy that she ended things with him. You at the other side, you were feeling guilty.

" Not at all babe, it's starting now," Cheryl replied to Toni, watching how the Riverdale high school mascot came out, making your side of the court cheer.

Then East Highland mascot followed behind, their side cheering.

It was game on.

After the director blabbered and gave a speech that took forever, the two teams made appearance to the court.

The girls were jiggling their pomp-pomps, waving at their supporters with a huge smile plastered on their faces.

You remained still, your eyes immediately finding Veronica's and Maddy's. You just hoped hell didn't break loose for these two girls. But knowing your ex girlfriend temperament, and how easily she is to be set-off, your chances of her not doing a tantrum today were low.

" Yasss Vero!," You heard Cheryl shout.

As the cheerleaders took a side on the court, getting ready to face each other, a loud song blared out from the speakers.

Riverdale's girls were commencing the competition.

As Veronica's crew began to dance it off, their routine was quite the spectacle. Each of their beat were performed on sync, pom-pomps being the star of their movements. While at the other side, Maddy's team looked at them with their arms crossed, waiting for their turn to show-off.

You could see how Veronica's eyes were piercing right through Maddy's, as she swayed her body at the rhythm. She was fuming, but Maddy stood undisturbed, giving her a faint smile. This made Veronica even more enraged, but gave her the right amount of motivation to give her best on this dance-off. So when the music was coming to an end, Veronica with her pomp-pomps jiggling, ran towards her squad that were lined up already, lifting your ex-girlfriend up to the air. She executed the stunt perfectly, making everyone on Riverdale's side roar in awe.

" Yes bitch!," Cheryl exclaimed, applauding.

When they finished their choreography, Veronica brushed pass Maddy, and flicked her hair inches away from her face. Veronica knew that the judges were impressed, and this boosted her confidence.

As a new song began for the East Highland girls, Maddy began to jostle her pom-pomps. Her eyes fixed on your ex, as she swayed her body. You could see Rue and her friends cheering for her, as she danced. Her team implementing each step perfectly. Veronica had her arms crossed, watching their performance. East Highland cheerleaders had a more provocative dance routine. There was a lot of sensual moves implemented on each of their movements, and you knew Maddy had to be the one who came up with the choreography.

By the end of song, Maddy decided to give Veronica the same medicine she gave her earlier, except with her own little twist. Maddy walked over to your ex-girlfriend, and with a smile, she turned around and shook her bouncy ass at her. She then flicked her hair, and left back to her team.

With a furious Veronica, she bit the inside of her lip. She really was testing her. Betty, who was with Veronica on the dance-off; held her arm, and told her to remain compose.

" She's such a bitch," Cheryl brought up to light, hating what Maddy just did. On East Highland side, though, Rue and her friends were laughing at Maddy's taunt.

After a couple of minutes, the four judges on the panel were securing their votes in. The competition was hard. Over the hundred of schools that competed, Riverdale and East Highland High school were the two finalist. The judges by the end, though, they focused on the difficulty of the moves and execution of each stunts, jumps, and teamwork. With a decision made, the judges announced Riverdale High School as the winner of the '22 cheerleading competition.

Everyone in the Riverdale side became wild. Screaming and cheering, as the girls received their trophy.

Cheryl immediately stood up, praising your ex-girlfriend and applauding with excitement. You in the other hand, stood seated, and applauded. Toni gave you a side look, and just chuckled.  She knew that this was a very tense  scene for you to watch.

As East Highland squad were departing the court, Veronica ran down to Maddy, " Hey!," She grabbed Maddy by the shoulder, and turned her around.

" What the fuck bitch!," Maddy squared up, staring at her. Both of their teams hovering around the two.

Oh no.

" Veronica, just leave it. Let's go..please," Betty pleaded, holding her arm. Veronica quickly snapped her hand off of her.

" You are a fucking, whore. You do know that, right? A basic slut that goes rupturing relationships," Veronica hissed, and Maddy laughed. " You are nothing but a street hooker, opening your legs to anyone. You were just a past time for, Y/n. You're an easy bitch, there's no way Y/n will ever want you for something serious."

Maddy laugh faded, and became deadpanned. She pointed her long nails at her, and stated, " This bitch needs to be put down!," With that being said, Maddy grabbed her by the hair and hell broke loose.

Veronica screamed, extending her arm and taking a grip of Maddy's ponytail. As both of them had each other's hair gripped around their hands, Veronica stomped on Maddy's foot and pushed her to the ground.

Veronica immediately hovered on top of her, and slapped her across the face.

" Fuck you bitch! Accept that you're a whore!," Veronica shouted, and as she was about to slap her again, Maddy gripped her wrist and twisted it. This cause Veronica to howl in pain, giving Maddy the opportunity to push her off.

As Veronica was now on the floor, Maddy hovered on top of her and instead of slapping her, she gave her a sharp punch on her lip.

Cheryl immediately was running down from the bleachers, going over to help Veronica. You were going to do the same, but Tony grabbed your arm, shaking her head.

" Y/n, don't. They're like that because you caused it. The best you can do, is leave them fight it out. Please, don't make it worse," Toni suggested and you sighed, looking down at the court and noticing how the girls from each team were pulling them apart.

" Maddy beat her ass!," Rue shouted from the bleacher, encouraging her.

" Fuck you, bitch!," Cheryl stuck her middle finger at Rue.

That's when the principal skimmed through the mayhem of girls, and pointed at Veronica and Maddy, " You two, to my office, now!"
