Heartburn|Episode 2

Episode 2

After Maddy found out you slept with her best friend Cassie, she started to hook up with boys and girls to make you feel jealous. For revenge, for betraying her, for leaving her in a state of emotional wreck-and because somehow, she still loved you. She hated that after everything you've done to her, she still managed to cry for you late at night.

You didn't like what she was doing, but it was understandable. You deserved it. Blaming the alcohol was a stupid excuse to justify what you did, but it was the truth. You weren't in your senses that night. But you understood, that no matter the pretexts and regrets, that didn't change the fact that you slept with her best friend. And now your biggest karma, was watching her share her body with anyone she pleased to be with.

It's been two months since the break-up, but it felt longer than that. Having to see Maddy at school was already hard enough, and now having to see her grind all over a guy in the currently party you were at, was even harder. You were with Lexi at the table, and she was watching the peers dance at the dance floor. But not you, you were just staring down at the bottle of water you had on the table. There was no need to watch.

" Ugh, if only someone took me out to dance..," Lexi groaned, looking down at the guys who were having fun from across the table.

To be honest, it was starting to get dull. You were at a bash party, you were supposed to have fun ¿right? But not you and Lexi. You two were just sat at a table, watching the fun happen. You didn't mind it though. But seeing Lexi start to get spiritless, was beginning to feel wrong.

" You wanna dance? I can take you if you want," You offered, but she shook her head.

" No!," she laughed. " I honestly don't wanna end up like my sister, Y/N. Besides, look at Maddy. She's been staring at you every since we've got here," Lexi pointed out with her eyes, but you didn't look. You didn't need to.

" The deal was not with you, Lexi. I don't think she'll be mad if she saw us dancing," You explained. " Maddy is not even my girlfriend anymore."

" Mm, but I know that look she's giving you, Y/N. I don't think Maddy is over you, to be completely honest," Lexi said sincerely, taking a glimpse at you now.

Just before you could respond back to her, the gates of heaven open for Lexi. A guy came over to the table, offering her a dance. She was shy at first, but after you gave her the " go " signal with your eyes, she didn't hesitate to grab his hand and leave to the dance floor.

As you sat now alone at the table, you bumped your head lightly at the music that was playing. You still weren't looking at the dance floor. Just at the water bottle you had in front.

After a while, it did got boring. So you decided to take a glimpse from your table at what Lexi was doing with the boy. Even though you wanted to find Lexi on the crowded dance floor, your eyes landed on your ex. It was like the spotlights focused on her, and only her. Her curves swayed at the rhythm of the song, and you were hypnotized on her movements.

The bad thing was that she was dancing with a guy, and you hated it. But your eyes remained on her, while Maddy stared at you from across the distance. She pushed her behind closer to him, and smirked.

You gripped your water bottle tightly, and remained in contact with her. As much as you wanted to look away, you couldn't. She was Medusa, and she had you stoned-frozen, right there.

Then she turned around, and smashed her lips with him. He was shocked at first, but gladly accepted it. Of course. His hands trailed down Maddy's body, taking a grip of her buttocks. Obviously, you weren't going to make a scene. You couldn't . She wasn't yours, and that was your karma laughing at you.

But you still felt the need to go there.

So you did.

You stood up from the table, and went down to the dance floor, skimming through the sweaty peers.

" I'll steal her for a second," You stated at the guy she was with, grabbing Maddy by the arm and pushing her aside. You so wanted to beat the crap out of him, but you remained collected.

" What the fuck, Y/N!," Maddy cursed at you, crossing her arms. " What do you want? "

" I just want to talk to you," You casually replied, and she rolled her eyes annoyed.

" Well, I'm busy. I don't have time to talk," she established, before adding, " and even less with you."

And before she could swing her body around to leave; you held her arm immediately,  and pushed her closer to you. Your lips were inches away from hers, and you stared at them. She did the same, but later her eyes went up to look at you.

" But I do wanna talk..," You stated, looking down at her.

" You're standing on a dance floor, Y/N. You don't come here to talk," Maddy sassily responded.

" Well, let's dance then?," You asked, your eyes attentively fixed with hers, and then dropping them down to her lips. She was right in front of you, and you missed having her this close. You yearned for the brunette so much; that having her mere inches away, wasn't helping one bit.

Maddy felt the same as you, because soon enough, she crashed her lips with yours. You gasped between lips, and shortly, your hands were gripping the back of her head, pushing her closer, deepening the kiss. You missed her lips, so your tongue desperately found its way in, savoring what they longed for.

She wrapped her arms around your waist, allowing you the access. It went like that for a bit, until both of you had to step away to take a breath. " You don't taste like alcohol," she analyzed, looking up at you.

You nodded, licking your lips. " I know, I'm not drinking anymore. Alcohol made me lose what I loved the most, so I stopped. " You admitted, and Maddy shook her head, looking away from you.

" Well, I'm glad you took that decision." she stated, eyes still not looking at you.

" Yeah...," You agreed, placing a hand on her cheek, so she could look back at you. You caressed it softly with your thumb, and before you could lean down to kiss the petite again, she placed her index finger against your lips.

" No, Y/N. I still fucking hate you." she divulged, shaking her head. She had obvious reasons to hate you. So you nodded, understanding her. But somehow, mixing emotions after a heated kiss, was unbearable. And she knew that so well.

It didn't took long, until Maddy crashed her lips with yours once again. Her tongue fought for dominance with yours, and you eagerly bit her lower lip. She left a moan escape her mouth, " I fucking hate you, Y/N. So fucking much...," she gasped between your lips, as she continued kissing you impatiently.

After awhile , Maddy grabbed you by the hand, and strode you down to the bathroom to continue what has started.

Bonus gif: Rue when she sees Maddy going to a bathroom stall with you following behind.

She doesn't learn.

And she's not a fan of your toxic relationship with Maddy.
