Once upon a Wish

Prompt: It's your girlfriend's birthday and you decided to throw her a surprise party.

" Where are you taking me, darling? You're making me nervous." She giggled, while you continued to walk her down to the back area of your patio. Your hands blindfolding the petite eyes.

" You'll see," You casually replied. When you took her to the destination, you removed your hands from her and shouted in sync with everyone else that was there, " Surprise ! ".

She smiled widely at your surprise, her eyes sparkling with euphoria.

" Oh darling! This is beautiful!, " she said, while you brought her in for a hug and she gladly accepted it.

" Happy Birthday, baby. You're getting old," You placed a kiss on top of her head, as she nudged your belly at your last sentence.

After she scanned the area and noticed many familiar faces, she went ahead and greeted them all. She was very happy that you did such thing just for her.

When everyone exchanged their greetings towards Elizabeth with hugs or handshakes, you called everyone to the front to sing her happy birthday.

Thereafter, Elizabeth blew her candles and everyone applauded. She looked at you with a smile molding up her lips and said, " I made a really, really good wish. And you're in it, darling."
