Dove could careless about running the mile in gym class. After finding out you broke up with Hailee, she was amused by the news.

" Dove, what are you doing?," Sofia came to a halt next to the blonde on the tracks, after seeing her nonchalantly chew a gum, focused on whatever she was seeing on her phone.

" Y/n, Sofía. She broke up with Hailee. This is such great news!" She squealed, and Sofia kinked her eyebrow.

" Really? How's that great news, though?"

" Because now I have a chance, Sofia!"

" Oh! Right!," Sofia nodded, and Dove smiled mischievously at her friend.

" I'll be seeing her next class. Do I look okay?," Dove asked, and she nodded.

" Yeah, of course. But you have to run, Dove. Your grade in gym class is already really bad.."

Dove scoffed. " I can't run, Sofia! I already told you i'm seeing Y/n after this. She can't see me all red and sweaty!"

The gym teacher blew his whistle, getting the attention of the two girls. " Sofia, Dove! Get those legs moving, let's go!"

" I have to go..," Sofia immediately ended her conversation with her best friend, and began to pace her way out of trouble with the teacher.

Dove just rolled her eyes at the teacher's command and placed her phone away. But there was no way she was going to run. Instead, she began to stroll her way down the track, fixing her hair.

Mr. Owens just shook his head, writing Dove's grade for today's mile run on his notebook.
