Jason's  POV

It was an eventful morning at the manor. Everyone including Jason has been up on their feet, helping with a preparation for the charity event occurring tonight at the manor. Alfred has been in the kitchen since the early morning, preparing food and everything while Bruce has been taking care of some paperwork he didn't have time to finish.

All of the kids including Dick, Jason, Tim and Damian have been preparing rooms, moving furniture and making tables.

"How many tablet are there waiting to be set?" Jason growled, being fed up with the whole preparing thing.

"Exactly 14 tables to go and don't be a drama queen Jaybird, you've only done three." The younger Tim informed his older brother.

"But those tables are like this big." The oldest brother Dick gestured with his hands. His spread hands were about six feet wide, supporting his younger brother Jason. Both of them had a big smirk on their faces, preparing to leave the work to their brothers.

"Guys, you can't be serious. Alfred asked each of us to prepare the dining hall." Tim said, gesturing to the unfinished tables. "Damian say something."

"Let them go Drake, if they are willing to pass all of Alfred's cookies to us, I'm not against." The youngest, Damian, wasn't dumb. He knew what to say to make his brothers obey, especially when the cookies were at stake.

"You wouldn't..." Dick whined in a childish manner despite the fact that he was an adult. Everyone who tasted Alfred's cookies knew what was it like to be robbed of the sugary treat. The mention of cookies caught also Jason's attention. He was a tough guy but those cookies were his soft spot.

As soon as they came back and started doing the tables, Tim walked towards Damian and whispered "Did you hear that Alfred won't be doing any cookies today?" His voices was so low because he didn't want trained ears of Dick and Jason to hear.

"I'm fully aware of it." Damian answered and went back to putting down forks. He was only ten but he could outsmart even the smartest.

As soon as all the tables were set, everyone walked into the kitchen to grab some snacks. When the boys entered, they found an elderly man walking around the kitchen, preparing food of all kinds. From little cupcakes to freshly looking salads and soups.

"Alfie, we finished the tables." Jason informed the man. "and we came for cookies."

"Master Jason, I already told you that no cookies today. Can't you see I have a lot of work?" When you looked at Jason's and Dick's face, you could see betrayal and anger.

"Damian how could you." Dick's voice was cold whereas Jason was going to burst from anger.

"This little shit tricked us. I can't believe I fell for it. How could you disrespect the cookies so much?" The fuming male was stopped by a hand.

"Master Jason, don't you remember when I told ALL of you that there won't be any cookies today. You were all here, eating breakfast." Alfred retrieved his hand leaving a stunned Jason.

"You know, at times like this I really wish I'd listened to what you said Alfred." The older man seemed satisfied enough and went back to work.

"How didn't I hear that?" The oldest asked in disbelief.

"Maybe because you were sleeping on the table." Tim responded with a smirk. He wasn't the funny type, most of the time the position was occupied by his older brothers but when there was an open opportunity, he had to take it.

All the boys headed to their rooms to get ready. The guests were about to arrive soon and they didn't want to make a bad name for the Wayne family. Every one of them wore a nice tuxedo with a different tie. The color somehow represented their secret life of vigilantes.

Dick wore a ocean blue tie representing the blue bird on his uniform. Jason had a bloody red one, Tim had a yellow one whereas Damian wore a toxic, yet calm green one. To a normal person, the colors of their ties wouldn't say much but if you knew them, you would see it differently.

As they walked together to the main entrance, Jason stopped for a moment. It was late evening and it was dark outside but he saw something. A glimpse of white color. He didn't think much about it, he thought it was just a bird. However, in the back of his mind settled a feeling of being watched or indirectly threatened. The boy shook of the feeling and caught up with his brothers. They didn't give him much attention, they just walked towards the main entrance to welcome their guests.

Danny's POV

As soon as the target was set, there wasn't time to waste. The ghost headed for the manor straight away. The dark gloomy skies of Gotham were, surprisingly, not pouring water.

Dan glided in the air, enjoying the freedom of flight. On occasion he would just close his eyes and just feel the rush of flying. The wind rustled his flaming hair, making it appear even more crazy than usual. His eyes glanced over the city, so full of dark colors and flashing lights. He was looking for s specific source of light, the one holding his next victim.

Dan found what he was looking for at the outskirt of Gotham, near a small forest. There were a lot of cars parked around, he guessed they were hosting a party of some sort. 'The more, the better.' Dan though to himself, ignoring his human half. After the moment of hesitation back in the alley, he kept his distance. He didn't want the unknown and unwelcome feeling to come back.

As he approached one of the windows, he saw four kids, well one about his age, two older ones and a small kid, all four of them males. He knew that Wayne had some adopted children but he didn't think he would have four. What he didn't expect was one of the older boys to notice him. He stopped in his tracks, scanning the window but there was nothing, Dan has turned invisible. The boy stood there for a while but than he shook his head and went to catch up with the others.

Dan flew up on the rooftop, waiting for the right time to strike. There wasn't much to do, so after a while of just watching cars come and go, he started playing with his ice core. First, he created only some basic shapes like a diamond, a cube or a ball. Later he created more complex ice creations like animals, trees or objects. The ghost was so deep in his thoughts that he didn't realize he started forming yet another ice sculpture. When it was finished, he just held it in his hands, staring at it. It was a small statue of him and Danny, fighting side by side. The sculpture scared Dan so much that it angered him. With full force, he threw the little statue of him and Danny into a wall. As it made contact with the brick, it shattered into million small pieces.

Dan had a suspicion that Danny has fallen asleep or something because it wasn't like him to be so quiet. Yet again, the unidentified feeling crept back, suddenly making him angry.
Dan realized that the feeling couldn't be pushed back forever but today wasn't the day to go over your feelings.

The ghost wanted to move on with his plan so he pushed the feeling back and he flew down to the widow and peeked inside. The hall was already full of rich looking people when he looked inside, so he assumed that he was buried in his thoughts for quite a long time.

He didn't want to wait any longer so he turned invisible and intangible. Dan phased through the ceiling and found himself in a crowded living room. There was a stage with few people who were getting prepared for a welcome speech. There was also his target, Bruce Wayne.

He didn't want to jump right into the process of a murder, he rather toyed with his victim first. There was so much he could do right now but he decided to start with something small, like overshadowing.

The evil ghost flew, still invisible and intangible towards the stage, overshadowing the microphone. Bruce walked towards the device and coughed. With this action, he caught the whole audience.

"Before I start my speech I would like you to know that I'm a great speaker. I can say that because when I make a speech, as soon as I sit down, people say it was the best thing I've ever done." Bruce started only to make his audience crack up laughing.

"I declare the foundation open for your valued money which will be spend recklessly. I won't share them, just to let you know." Suddenly the whole crowd went quiet. The man standing by the microphone got a lot of unpleased looks and a What-are-you-doing from his four sons standing by his sides. Bruce tapped the microphone to try if it didn't break.

Nobody expected a flying form to rise up from the device. They were so shocked to do something, they just stood there staring at the form. After a short look, the Wayne family assumed that they were witnessing a paranormal being.

"That's the man!" One woman shouted. "The one that killed those innocent people today!"

"He's a murderer!"

Now people were running all over the place, trying to get out of the house as far as they could to save their lives. Only the organizer of this foundation stayed behind.

The ghost walked forward, making his way to the billionaire. Dan didn't have a clue why the man didn't try to run away from him and why the hell he wasn't scared.

"What do you want with me." Bruce said flatly, having the advantage of being alone. He didn't have to put up the scared billionaire facade so much.

"I would like you dead." Dan said imitating Bruce's tone. The ghost was about to say something more when he was tackled to the floor by a man wearing black and blue costume.

"Grab those meta-cuffs!" The one with a red helmet shouted at the smallest one, the current Robin.

"Don't boss be around Hood, I know what to do!" The small kid shot back at his teammate but did as he was told. Dan saw an opportunity to have some more fun and he took it.

"Oh my, you got me. What am I going to do?" Dan imitated a scared woman, playing the weak one.

"You are under arrest..." the blue one started but didn't have the chance to finish.

"Are we playing a cop right now or what." The ghost asked annoyed. He was really having fun with these kids. As he was about to turn intangible to escape the handcuffs, he realized that Bruce has left. He couldn't have gone too far it the short period of time so he must have been hiding somewhere.

"Kids listen to me, now I have to go, I have some unfinished business to attend to." As he finished his sentence, he turned invisible and intangible, lettering the handcuffs fall right on the ground. The looks on their faces were priceless. It was a shock mixed with curiosity.

"Where did he go?" Red hood shouted, looking around. Each of them took out their representative weapons, Red hood took out guns, Nightwing his eskima sticks, Red Robin his bo staff and finally Robin his katana.

It was hilarious watching them but Dan got a job to do and so he left. As soon as he left, the four boys would swear that the temperature rised a little.

"Search the building." Nightwing ordered and they separated. The ghost searched the whole building by himself too but didn't find anyone except his followers. Dan stopped where he was floating at the moment and closed his eyes and tried to concentrate. He could hear 4 heartbeats... wait there was something underneath the floor. It was a soft buzzing and it sounded like a cave?

The ghost phased through the ground and he found himself in a cave full of different devices, vehicles and trophies.

"The batcave..." Danny said, sounding surprised. To be truthful, Dan was shocked too. He has been hunting the Batman the whole time without realizing it.

There he was, Batman without his cowl. The man was standing in front of a huge computer, looking at hidden security cameras. From the place Dan was floating, he could see the four dressed boys running around searching for him.

Now, when he thought about it, those four masked kids were Wayne's kids. Batman presses a com in his ear and called the others to get to the cave. They arrived soon through an elevated. Guess it is their secret entrance.

"What is that thing!" Jason shouted "The anti-metahuman handcuff had no affect on him." Dan suddenly got a brilliant idea. As he was intangible, he flew right into Batman, overshadowing him.

"It was an ectoplasmic being or as other prefer, a ghost." Dan-Batman explained. Suddenly Batman fell to his knees, grasping his head.

"Get. Out. Of. My. Head." The man growled and the four boys gathered around him.

"Batman what's wrong?"

Dan had to admit that Batman has a strong mind because he was able to get rid of him. He appeared above Bruce in his full height, glancing down with a frown.

Everyone stood up, getting ready to face the ghost. They weren't sure what he was capable of doing so they stood back, waiting for him to strike first.

"We can go the easy way, or the hard way." Nightwing said wearily, making a small step towards the huge ghost. "It's five on one, you better go the easy way."

Dan's gaze set on Nightwing, those red eyes burning with rage.

"Oh what a shame I didn't bring my partner... but that doesn't matter, I have my friends with me and they are going to kill you all." As he finished his sentence, four duplicates appeared, ready to kill.

The bat family has formed a small circle, ready to dodge any form of an attack. All five Dans laughed darkly while they flew towards the vigilantes. At the same time, they created 10 powerful torrents of green ghost fire, ready to blow them up.

"I get it man, you want to kill Batman, many do, even me but there are better ways to do that." Red hood stepped out of the circle with a small plan. All five ghosts stopped and looked amused whereas the bat family only glared at him.

"Hood step down." Batman growled at his son but without an affect.

Dan then merged back with his duplicates, forming one again. He flew down to face Hood but he didn't forget the rest of his family. The ghost tied them with a rope out of ecto-energy.

Jason's plan was really simple, take out a gun, shoot the gun. In merely a second, two guns were aimed at Dan's chest, ready to fire. Dan only laughed which triggered Jason and he fired.

The ghost suddenly turned intangible and at the same time, with a wave of his hand he created a green portal to ghost zone. The bullets only passed through him and flew right into the GZ. A strong hand reached for stunned Red hood and grabbed him by his neck.

Red hood hooked his legs around the ghost's neck, trying to twist himself out of his grip and throw him to the ground. His attempt to free himself ended miserably and only to make things worse, he sprained his knee.

"Dan stop it, I command you!" Danny's words caught Dan unprepared. The kid was quiet the whole time and he decided to interrupt him now? He was about to shout at him when he realized that he wasn't alone. Red hood was going to pass out from the lack of oxygen coming to his brain so Dan simply tossed him into the huge computer, cracking it's screens. The young vigilante laid there unconscious while the rest of his team was still tied tight.

"You command me? You are forgetting that I'm the one in charge now." Dan telepathically answered Dann, his words full of hatred towards the boy. Danny was prepared, he knew the exact reaction of his ghost side so he stayed calm, making Dan furious now.

"Step down or I will make you." Danny continued in his calm voice. The ghost side was now beyond furious, he didn't pay any attention to his hostages he just yelled. "Fuck you! Why didn't I burry you with that old bastard!"

The four members of bat family were observing the situation. Batman made a note to himself that he have to include a 'personality disorder' do the ghosts file. It was weird watching such a powerful creature having a fight with himself. As the ghost was distracted, the green rope disappeared, setting the tied people free.

All of a sudden, Dan got a throbbing headache which made him clutch his head. The ghost screamed, forming a sonic wave, similar to Black Canary's one, sending the standing vigilantes to the wall. The wave died down quickly so it didn't have time to cause some serious damage.

"Dan, lets just go home..."

"We don't have a home." Dan growled quietly but loud enough for Batman and the rest to hear.

"You said 'we' "

"Screw you" Dan said, surprisingly not in a harsh or angry tone. He turned intangible and flew up, disappearing in the ceiling, leaving one unconscious and four confused and surprised vigilantes.
