Danny woke up to see that someone was lightly shaking him. His eyelids felt heavy because he hasn't woken up fully yet. A set of groans escaped the sleepy halfa as he turned on his other side, trying to get away from the person who was trying to wake him up. He opened his eyes only to be met with a blinding light emitted by his lamp.

"Turn it off" Danny hissed but the light stayed on. The one who caused him to wake up in these unpleasant conditions will pay.

"Danny, you have to wake up. You have school." The halfa was surprised when he recognized the source of the voice as Bruce. He was confused about why the man was waking him up for school. They talked about it only yesterday. There was no chance he could sign him in during one night. Bruce caught his confused look and went for an explanation. "I signed you in a long time ago. We were just waiting for the right moment."

Danny sat up, still tangled in his sheets. When his eyes adjusted to the light, he found a pile of clothes laying at the end of his bed. It brought him an unpleasant memory of the time when he was staying with Vlad. The halfa shook his head to get rid of those thoughts and he rather concentrated on the present.

"That is you School uniform." Bruce informed. He took few steps towards the door but he turned back before he left. "The breakfast will be ready in 10 minutes so get dressed."

Danny grabbed his new clothes and spread them out on his bed to have a better look at them. It was a plain white shirt, a red tie, black jacked and brown trousers. A logo of Gotham academy was displayed on the black jacked, making it appear snobby. Danny thought about taking the emblem off but it would be disrespectful towards Bruce and the school.

The halfa pulled on his trousers and tucked in the sticking shirt. His father once showed him how to tie a tie so now Danny followed his silent instructions. He accidentally pulled the tie too much, making it hard for him to breath. One of his hands moved towards his neck to make a space between his blocked windpipe and the strangling piece of cloth. His spare hand loosened the knot, letting him breath normally. Danny put on his new jacket and tied his new black shoes.

With a sigh, Danny gave a cursory glance in the full length mirror of his room. His black hair had gotten too long, three bangs covering his face. He brushed them out of his face but with no success. His hair returned to their place so Danny gave up on them and let them hang loosely. The halfa made a 360 degree turn, finding out that the uniform wasn't the easiest thing to move in.

Danny slowly made his way to the kitchen. Everyone was already there, waiting for him to come.

"Nice uniform." Dick complimented and gave his brother a smirk. "I can't believe how small I used to be."

"It was yours? I always thought you were the big guy."

"You won't believe me but Dick was the smallest one for a very long time." Jason said and everyone laughed. Dick's cheeks turned slightly red out of embarrassment.

"Was this uniform always so tight?" There was no time for an answer because they were interrupted.

"Shall I bring the food." Alfred asked and appeared in the doors leading to the kitchen. 'Damn, this family will give me a heart attack!' Danny thought as the butler put a plate full of homemade pancakes in front of him. He poured some syrup on top of them and stuffed the delicious treat in his mouth.

"I need to talk to the principal so I'll take you guys to school." Bruce said from behind his newspaper and sipped from his black coffee. Danny looked at the cover of the newspaper and he found a big picture of Batman grappling away from some tied men. The halfa frowned at the picture but soon returned to his breakfast.

"Where do you go to school Jason?" Danny asked his older brother interestedly. Bruce didn't mention Jason so he was curious.

"I'm attending a college." He replied with his mouth full.

"Aren't you only seventeen?" The halfa asked confused.

"Yes, but I'm super smart so I skipped few years." When Danny thought about it now, it wasn't so surprising. They were all protรฉgรฉs of Batman, the smartest man in the world so it was expected from them.

"Damian, Tim, Danny, it's time to go. Wait for me in the garage." The trio walked out of the dinning room and headed to Bruce's huge garage with expensive cars and motorcycles. Danny has never seen so many sport cars in one place, it was amazing. He trailed his fingers on the car brands, enjoying the cold metal sensation.

"Don't touch it. You will smudge it." Damian growled and moved away from them.

"Why is he so cold towards me?" Danny whispered to Tim.

"Because you're friends with me." Tim chuckled lightly. "Damian doesn't like me very much too so welcome to the club."

Soon after, Bruce came down to the garage in an expensive looking suit. The man unlocked an orange sport car and motioned them to sit in. When Danny got closer, he immediately recognized the car.

"Is this McLaren 570S?" He asked the billionaire and he smiled.

"You like it?"

"I always wanted one of those." Everyone smiled at the excited halfa, only the youngest one frowned. Damian took the passengers seat while the boys sat in the back.

The engines came to life and they took off. It wasn't a long ride thanks to the surprising lack of cars in the morning. Bruce parked his car in front of Gotham academy, next to another expensive looking car. Every single car around here looked so expensive.

They got out of Bruce's McLaren and headed for the main entrance which reminded Danny of those old Roman buildings. The whole crowd watched them with interest and whispered to each other. Danny has been introduced to the world some time ago so he wasn't completely new to the outside world.

"You'll get used to being famous like me." Tim caught Danny's distraught expression and put a hand around his shoulders.

"Heh, I hope." Danny chuckled nervously whereas Damian just rolled his eyes. Man, the little boy was getting in his nerves. If he had his powers, he would show him. Going against a trained assassin may be dangerous but it was worth the risk.

"Another Wayne brat."

"Where does he collect those kids?"

"Would he adopt me if I pretended that I was an orphan?"

These unpleasant words were coming from a group of teens who stood near the door. They didn't look very friendly so Danny made a mental note not to get in their way. As soon as they walked inside, Damian parted from their group and headed for his class.

"Tim, could you show Danny his class?" The billionaire asked his son. Tim gave him a small nod and dragged Danny deeper into the school.

"Bye Bruce." Danny shouted out of courtesy and followed his brother. They walked through a crowded hallway, taking a turn now and then. Danny had to admit, it was a huge building, at least twice the size of the manor. Tim stopped in front of a closed door and turned to face Danny.

"This is your classroom. I'll wait you here after your first period. Ok?" Danny felt stupid when Tim talked to him in that manner but he was new here so it was expected. Tim waved him goodbye and soon, Danny lost track of him in the crowd. The halfa took a deep breath and opened the door. The room was full of teens talking to each other in groups. He walked past them to the back of the room and sat there quietly. Soon, it rang for the first period and everyone got seated.

A young woman walked in and looked around the class, searching for someone. When her eyes landed on Danny, she smiled and walked towards her desk.

"My name Pamela Thorn and we have a new student here today. Could you stand up and tell us something about yourself?" The teacher announced and gave Danny a small nod. The halfa slowly stood up from his place and looked around.

"Hi, my name is Daniel Fenton but you can call me Danny. I came from Amity park." There was nothing more Danny could think of. He had some hobbies but they were top secret.

"Anything else?" The teacher asked kindly.

"Uhh, I like physics and universe." He added awkwardly and sat back down. He looked around the class properly for the first time. There was a blond haired boy sitting next to him, silently watching him from the corner of his eye. The boy caught Danny's look and gave him a small smile.

"My name is Ryan White." The boys whispered to each other the whole class, getting to know each other better. Danny learned that Ryan's parents went on a business trip and he's staying with his aunt. He doesn't have any siblings or animals, he's a black belt and he came to Gotham academy only three weeks ago. It was easy talking to Ryan but deep inside, there was hiding something dark.

The bell announced the end of their first period and they were free to go. They found out that their schedules were identical so they could spend their time together. When Danny walked out of his classroom, he was met with his 'twin' (they are the same age so why not)

"I'll wait for you." Ryan whispered and walked down the hall.

"New friend?" Tim asked, looking Ryan's direction.

"He's nice."

The vigilante smiled and looked at his wristwatch. His second period was about to start and he didn't want to be late.

"I'll go now, meet me at lunch?"

"Of course." Danny waved and ran down the hallway. He found Ryan leaning against some lockers, scrolling through his phone. When he saw Danny, he put his phone in his pocket and started walking towards their next classroom.

This time, they didn't have the luck and were separated. Danny had no one to talk to so he was forced to listen to Mrs. Samson, his history teacher who reminded him of Mr. Lancer, one of his old teachers.

Mrs. Samson wrote something on the board. Her writing was so small Danny had a problem to tell what was there. After some time, he was able to decode it as Civil war. The class was supposed to take notes so Danny opened his notepad.

"This it a waste of my time." His inner demon sighed.

"I'm sorry but this is MY time." Danny growled and went back to listening and taking notes.

"When I get out, I'll make sure to kill this unworthy woman."

"I forbid you from killing." Danny screamed and facepalmed when he nearly screamed out loud.

"Oh, and how do you plan on doing that?" The ghost taunted, finding a great opportunity for a big argument. With Danny in control, there wasn't much for Dan to do. Danny's anger rose with every word. The boy was glaring at his empty paper and squeezing his pen so hard that he heard a small crack.

The halfa had a hard time with maintaining his anger. If he blew up, he would embarrass himself in front of the whole class and give Dan an opportunity to take over.

Soon, the students started standing up from their chairs and slowly left the room. Was he really arguing with Dan the whole time?

Danny's next classes went similarly. Dan didn't give him a break at all and Danny was slowly getting frustrated. He didn't remember anything his teachers tried to teach him and they are having some tests tomorrow! The halfa stormed out of the classroom frustrated. He didn't even have Jason around, the only living person who knew about Dan.

A strong hand grasped his shoulder and he turned around. "You ok?" Ryan asked concerned.

"A bad day. Are you going to lunch?" Danny sighed as he tried to calm himself down.

"I'm sorry but I have an appointment with my doctor. I'll see you tomorrow." The blonde haired boy said and turned to leave. Danny followed the crowd which took him to the cafeteria where Tim was already waiting and he looked happy.

"What made you so happy Timmy?" Danny asked with a raised eyebrow.

"A good grade." He replied too fast. It was obvious that he was hiding something. Danny didn't want to prod so he let it be.

"Um Tim, do you have some spare money?" The halfa asked sheepishly because he had left his lunch money in the car.

"Do you know who my father is?" Both males laughed their heads off. When they calmed down, the duo stood in the line. Danny bought a turkey sandwich while Tim ordered a panini.

"So how's the school going." Tim asked as soon as they sat down.

There was no point in hiding the truth so he told his twin everything. Well... not everything.
"Since the second period today, I couldn't concentrate on anything those teachers had said. I tried really hard but I just can't." Danny lowered his head in a shame and left his half eaten sandwich on the table.

After talking to Tim, Danny was able to continue his lessons concentrated. The twins met again in the crowded hallways after the school finished. They slowly made their way to the main entrance where they were supposed to meet Damian.

"Where is he." Tim tapped his leg impatiently. "He was supposed to be here 15 minutes ago."
Danny flinched when something vibrated in his pocket. He took out his new phone and found a text from Bruce.

"Damian left for a friend." Danny sighed and rubbed his tired face. "And he didn't even bother to tell us."

"Welcome to the club Dans." Tim chuckled but was cut off by a glaring Danny. 'Danny is as scary as Bruce when he's angry.' He thought.

"Ok, no Dans." The teen lifted his hands in fake surrender.

"Oh, look at him, he likes me." Dan laughed in a maniacal way.

"No, he hates Phantom so he hates you too." Danny shot back and ran to catch up with Tim.

"Alfred will be here in no time." Tim voiced his message he just got from someone. The twins were now waiting for their ride, shortening their time by watching people.

"Look who we got here guys, another stuck up brat." A voice, too familiar for Danny's liking teased. He turned around to face the boy and sighed in relief when he didn't find Dash, his classmate who felt the need to make a living hell out of his life. 'Nothing could be worse than Dan.' Danny thought as he tried to compare his two enemies.

The boy who was talking to him seemed to be around Jason's age and he was definitely taller. Two boys and one girl were by his side, grinning at Danny.

From Danny's left, Tim sighed as if he had dealt with those people many times before. "Dash, back off." His twin sighed and started pulling Danny away from them.

"Even their names fit." Danny laughed and let himself get dragged. A strong hand grasped his free arm and yanked him back. He didn't fall on the ground thanks to the person who was holding him in the air.

"Your big daddy isn't here. What are you going to do? Throw money at me?" Dash mocked and his squad laughed with him. Danny was now boiling on the inside. He wanted to punch the idiot and Dan was encouraging him.

"Why not." Danny internally shrugged and made a short backswing , which forced him to over accelerate on the forward swing. When his fist made contact with Dash's nose, a bone crushing sound could be heard. The taller boy let Danny go. He covered his nose with his hands to stop the bleeding and ran away. His squad glared at Danny for a while and rad after their friend.

"You'll get into some serious trouble." Tim said tiredly and started walking towards the awaiting limousine.

"He had it coming." The halfa smirked as he caught up with his twin.
