When Dick left Jason's room, he stood outside for a few minutes and listened. He could hear the shuffling of clothes so he assumed that Jason changed into his night clothes and went to bed. After few more minutes, light snores could be heard from behind the wooden doors. This was a cue for Dick to leave. He had some unfinished work in the cave so he decided to finish it today.

When he entered the cave, he was met with his brothers waiting for him by the computer screen and with Bruce not far away.

"Where's Jason?" Tim asked.

"He's in his room sleeping." Dick replied, an image of his stressed brother appeared in front of him. He grew to the little boy he kind of adopted more attached than he was willing to admit.

"Let him rest, he deserves it." Tim said, turning away from the computer. He rubbed his stinging eyes and walked towards a tray with steaming coffee.

"You know, you could use some sleep too. Coffee isn't good for a person your age." Dick commented. As in a protest, Tim lifted his cup and took a huge gulp. He finished his coffee and just glared at his older brother for criticizing his method of staying awake.

"Is Bruce still inside?" Nightwing asked his brothers. He didn't know how much time he had spent with Jason so he wasn't sure if the interrogation has ended or not.

"No, father is still inside talking to that monster." It was now Damian who said something. "And before you ask, he didn't get any more useful info from him."

All three of the boys sighed and went back to what they were doing before. Meanwhile inside of the interrogation room, two irritated beings were sitting in front of each other. The duo hadn't spoken since the ghost shut his mouth after the little space out. Batman was just staring whereas Dan was playing with his hands.

"Is there anything else I should know?" Batman asked even though it was a stupid question.

"Yeah, I want out." Dan growled and slammed his chained hands against the table. Bruce didn't say anything while he was walking out of the door. As he reached the computer area, he sighed and pulled down his cowl. When the boys saw him do it, they put down their masks too, revealing all of those blue eyes except Damian's green ones.

"Spiteful one, don't you think?" Dick asked his father figure to lighten the mood. Bruce gave him a blank expression and went to the tray with the coffee. When he reached for the cup, he found it empty, without his precious dark liquid. He didn't need a detective to know who drank his coffee. Nobody except Tim drank coffee so.

Bruce's gaze landed on Tim and he chuckled nervously. "I can make you another?" He asked halfway to the staircase leading to the manor. The billionaire just shook his head and went to sit by the computer to finish the file on Phantom.

Name: Phantom
Alter ego: Unknown
Age: Unknown
Race: Ghost
Appearance: white flaming hair, red eyes, light blue skin, fangs, pointy ears, muscular body build, white and black hazmat suit with a cape
Powers: Sonic scream, green fire blasts, super strength, enhanced hearing, energy structures, more may be discovered
Weaknesses: ectoranium
Notes: -mental disorder
             -knows Red hood

It wasn't enough information to Bruce's displeasure but it had to do for now. Phantom wasn't an easy case, he wasn't afraid of Batman which meant that his regular intimidation method had no use.

"You're all dismissed. I'll finish the patrol and you can get some sleep. Tomorrow is a busy day for everyone." Bruce said and all of the boys mumbled something in approval. They all took off their uniforms and headed for their bedrooms.

As soon as the younger vigilantes left, Bruce put on his cowl again and went to move his prisoner. He built him a special cell so why keep him in the interrogation room? When the door squeaked, Dan's head shot up towards the source of the sound. He found an opened door with Batman standing inside of them.

Batman approaches the ghost and stopped few feet in front of him. "Stand up, I'm moving you elsewhere." The vigilante growled. He got a small smirk from the ghost but he remained seated. Bruce knew that he won't make him go willingly so he reached for a different tactic. He took out a green escrima stick but he didn't intend to use it, yet. When the ghost saw the glowing stick, his whole body tensed up but nothing more.

"Will you go now?" It was more of a statement coming from Batman than a real question. The bright red eyes and white irises met for a few seconds but it was interrupted by a laugh.

"You think that will make me go?" Dan asked amused. He was really getting on Batman's nerves but the vigilante was good at hiding it.

"No, I was just waiting for you to say this." Bruce said and held the stick closer to Phantom's skin. He took a quick breath as his arm started hurting but he wasn't going to give up so easily. It wouldn't be him if he didn't go down without a fight.

When Batman saw that it didn't have any effect, he brought the green escrima stick closer, leaving a small burn mark.

"Dan!!! Stop it, it hurts!" Danny screamed at his ghost half who was still keeping his straight face.

"No, let him continue." Dan said in a calm voice. The stick didn't come any closer, just the burn mark got bigger. It was the worst pain in Danny's whole life. He has encountered ectoranium many times before but not in such pure state. Danny was now trashing, adding a small headache to the pained ghost.

Dan was trying to maintain too many things at once which resulted in a small control slip. Fortunately he didn't change back to his human form, only Danny got in control. The human part didn't waste any time and he shot up from his seat. As soon as he was in a upright position, Batman pulled back the stick and lead a way out heading for the green cell.

Danny eyes the steel infused with ectoranium with distrust but he decided that it would be still better than the pure ectoranium which he was exposed only a while ago. He slowly walked into the cell and right after his second foot stepped inside, the door closed.

The halfa tried to fly up to gat some rest while he was levitating but he found he couldn't.

"The stupid cuffs and their dampening powers." Danny growled in Dan's deep voice, making him cringe a little. As he was about to lie down, he could feel his control slipping. Since he wasn't in his human form, Dan was able to take control much easier and without Danny getting too emotional. He closed his eyes to concentrate but he was too weak to fight against the stronger personality who was trying to take over.

After few moments, Danny simply gave in, finding it useless to resist. Nothing really happened since Batman left Dan on his own. There wasn't much to do so Danny and Dan kind of both agreed on a short nap. The cell was big enough for him to lie down wherever he wanted so he decided to lie down in the middle. He lied on his stomach with his hands supporting his head and he soon fell asleep.

Jason woke up out of nowhere in the middle of the night. The digital clocks in his room set on his nightstand showed him 3:21 AM. It wasn't usual for him or anyone in the batfamily to wake up sooner than needed to and Jason didn't have a single reason to wake up. He looked around the room, trying to figure out why he woke up suddenly. Then it hit him. He was looking for Danny when he found his evil ghost half locked up in the batcave being interrogated. He tried to talk to him but he didn't know what to tell him so he basically run away from him, hiding in his room.

As he promised yesterday, he was going to talk to Danny, or some part of him when the rest of his family leave. None of them were about to leave the house until 7:00 so he had enough time to think about what to say to Danny's ghost half. He thought about it for a long time but nothing came to him. Well... I'll be improvising then. He thought as he was taking out some regular clothes.

It was about 5 in the morning so he decided to make himself some breakfast. When he stepped out of his room, the hallway was silent, only light snores could be heard behind the doors. Jason used his stealth ability to get past the bedrooms quietly, without making a single sound. His whole family including him were light sleepers, it came with the job.

When Jason reaches the kitchen door, it was dark inside. Everyone was trying to get as much sleep as they could. He didn't bother to turn on the lights, his eyes adjusted to his dark surrounding a long time ago.

"What to eat." Jason thought out loud while he was looking around the huge kitchen. He walked towards their fridge, taking out mayonnaise, ham, cheese, salad and some tomatoes. To finish his sandwich, he needed one more thing and that was bread. He made himself two sandwiches and two extra, which would be delivered to Danny when they will be alone. The young vigilante didn't bother to wash his dirty dishes, he just piled them next to the sink.

"May I have one sandwich?" A voice asked out of nowhere. Jason found the source of the voice and it belonged to his youngest brother Damian, who was standing in the doorway.

"No, I made them for me. Go and make your own." The older male announced to his younger sibling with a scowl.

"You have four." The child wouldn't give up so easily, after all his father was Batman and his grandfather was Ra's al Ghul.

"And what if." Jason bit back, ignoring his brother. He walked out of the kitchen and into the living room to watch some TV.

Soon after, the people living in this house started pouring down the stairs, to get something to eat. Jason knew that soon enough, he will be free to pay a visit to his friend who was locked downstairs.

The clocks were nearing the seventh hour when Bruce walked inside of the living room, fully dressed in his expensive tux.

"Morning." Jason greeted, looking away from the TV screen.

"Everyone except you has a program for today so I would like you to watch over him." Bruce said.

"Okay." Jason's answer shocked Bruce a little. He has never been so willing to do something. Normally, Bruce would have to go through an argument first but today was different. He gave his son a small smile, liking his new attitude. What he didn't know was that he needed to get to the cave.

After about fifteen minutes, the whole house was cleared, everyone going their separate ways. Bruce heading to his office, Dick to work, Tim and Damian to school while Alfred went to see an old friend. The reason why Jason wasn't at school was because he had a 3 week detention for starting a fight. He got into trouble for it about 1 and half week ago so nearly two free weeks were ahead of him.

The boy took the plate with two sandwiches and headed for the secret entrance. When he was about to open the secret door, he looked around from habit. You never know if someone is watching you. Jason walked down the stairs, only to be met with a dark cave. A soft glow was illuminating the near walls and also showing him where Danny was situated.

He raised an eyebrow when he saw Dan lying in the middle of his cell. Any other prisoner would sleep near the bars, trying to be as invisible as it was possible. With Dan's enhanced hearing, Jason's footsteps were loud enough to wake the ghost up. He lifted his head slightly to look at the newcomer.

"I brought you breakfast." Jason announced to their prisoner who was watching him. Dan was too sleepy to make any comments so he just sat there. The plate was pushed inside through the cut for food and it laid there.

"It's not poisonous." Jason let out a quiet chuckle while he brought himself a chair to sit.

"As if you could poison me." Dan replied dryly as he reached for the plate. The two sandwiches were gone in no time since the ghost hadn't eaten in a while. If he was full ghost, he wouldn't have to bother with eating and sleeping but since Danny was also part of him, he had to do those things sometimes.

"Look Dan, I just want to talk to Danny..." Jason started but he didn't finish because he didn't know what to say.

"He's not here, deal with it." Dan growled, being angry with all of those people who always came to him for Danny and not for him.

"Then can I talk to you?" Jason tried a different approach and it seemed to work.

"What do you want." He growled yet again, now giving his full attention to the person standing by his cell.

"Did you go down with a fight?" Jason asked, surprising Dan a lot. He thought that he would ask all those stupid things about why he killed all those people but he asked about a fight.

"Yes." Was the only answer before the cell doors were being opened. Jason stood inside of them, waiting for something. Dan stood up, seeing the opportunity to escape.

"Get out, just don't hurt Jason. If it wasn't for him, you would be dead. Well more that you are now." The ghost took a threading step forward and then another. Whit three steps, he was standing right in front of Jason, looking down at him with a smirk.

"I can offer both of you a place to stay." Jason offered, not being afraid of Dan even the slightest.

"And if I don't want to..." the ghost remarked, his hair burning higher. He was still standing inside of the dampening cell so his powers wouldn't work even if he tried. They were both just standing there unmoving, waiting for other to say something.

A gun was pulled out from a tight holster which Jason put on before he entered the cell. The gun was loaded with ectoranium bullets, ready to fire.

"Fire." Dan said in a serious tone, pressing his chest against the gun. He knew that the boy was only trying to scare him because he wouldn't really hurt him. Danny told him that both of them could feel the others pain and emotions so he didn't dare to hurt the human part which he grew too attached to.

The gun was lowered a bit, now aiming at his thight. Dan saw the opening and went for it. With all of his strength, he pushed the vigilante away from the doors, sending him flying.

"How bold of you to assume I would let my chance to escape slip so easily." The ghost laughed while stood few feet away from Jason.

When he was out of his cell, there was only one thing that kept him from flying away and it were the cuffs. Jason fires the gun with deadly precision, aiming at non lethal parts. He wasn't trying to kill him, just slow him down. Dan prepared himself for this so he knew what to do next. He straightened the chain holding his hands together and with a trained speed, he set the chain so the bullet would shatter them.

Two more bullets were fired and yet again, the ghost was prepared. The two bullets cut trough the ectoranium infused remnants of cuffs that were looking like bracelets. It was a risky move because the bullet could fly right into his hands but when you train your precision every day, those things become a habit.

Dan was too focused on getting out of there that he realized that a gun was fired too late. The bullet hit his right thigh , catching him umprepared. A strong pain shot through his whole body, making it impossible to stay concentrated on the flight. With a loud thud, the big ghost landed on the hard floor making the pain even worse.

"All we have to do now is wait." Jason said smirking, standing above the ghost.

"I thought you didn't have the balls to shoot me." Dan cringed as he tried to move his right leg.

"Oh, you really thought I would pass my chance to shoot someone?" Jason sassed. He grabbed the white cape and started dragging Dan towards the infirmary.

The green blood was oozing out pretty quickly and the bullet was soon going to infect the ghosts bloodstream so Jason had to move fast. Dan's vision blurred and soon he passed out from the blood loss and the presence of the green rock.
