Dong Hua waited for Feng Jiu at the car park. He thought to himself, "Why is Wen Chang touching my wife?"

Feng Jiu also thought to herself while walking towards the car park, "Why is the female teacher touching my husband?"

The moment their eyes met, they looked away since they didn't know how to face each other now. Then they silently got into the car. For the whole car ride back home, it was pure silence as well.

When they arrived home, Dong Hua went to take a shower, and Feng Jiu started cooking. She took out the thawed chicken and started preparing dinner.

Feng Jiu thought to herself, "Is Di Jun not going to explain to me about the female teacher?!" On the other side, Dong Hua also thought to himself in the shower, "Letting Xiao Bai go to school was a bad move. I shouldn't even have allowed it in the first place."

Then Feng Jiu's phone vibrated, and she quickly checked it. "Oh, it's from my friends app. What's this?" She opened up the app through the notifications. "Wen Chang matched me? But we are already friends. I need to ask Xue Shan how to use this app when I see her next week."

Then she received a message from Wen Chang. "Hey, Xiao Jiu. I'm surprised that I found you on this app."

Feng Jiu immediately replied, "Oh, I downloaded this app so that I could use it to make more friends."

Right at this moment, Dong Hua walked out of the bathroom, and he saw Feng Jiu typing on the phone.

Feng Jiu noticed Dong Hua staring, and she said to him coldly, "Dinner would be ready soon." Dong Hua then nodded his head and walked to the fridge to get a drink.

Feng Jiu continued texting Wen Chang while cooking since he asked her about school. She didn't feel like it was wrong to do so, and she also thinks that Wen Chang was a nice person.

Dong Hua stared at her and asked coldly, "What are you doing, Xiao Bai? Are you texting Wen Chang?"

"Nothing." She instantly kept her phone into her pocket. Feng Jiu was still mad at Dong Hua for not explaining to her about Zhi He. In the past, he never had any girls around him too.

Dong Hua felt a little annoyed that his wife was acting cold towards him, and he walked over to her. "Are you using your friends app, Xiao Bai?" He asked in a stern tone.

Feng Jiu thought to herself, "Di Jun still dare to be fierce to me? I should be the one being angry, not him." Then she looked away and replied coldly, "It's none of your business."

Dong Hua immediately felt jealous and thought to himself, "So she's really using the friends app. Is that why she's close to Wen Chang?" Then he stared intensively at Feng Jiu before saying, "Xiao Bai. You need to delete that friends app. You're not allowed to use it."

Feng Jiu immediately got mad and rebutted, "School taught me that I don't always have to listen to you! You're always stopping me from everything that I wanted to do. I'm not going to listen to you this time."

Dong Hua pulled Feng Jiu towards his body and tried to use his powers to take her phone away. "I'm taking your phone away, and you're not going to make friends on that app."

Feng Jiu immediately pushed Dong Hua away and yelled, "If you want to touch me, you need to ask me for permission from now on! This is my phone, so you can't take it away from me."

Dong Hua was shocked to hear his wife say that since she had always listened to him. He thought to himself, "School is really teaching her all the bad things." Then he replied coldly, "I'm withdrawing you from school starting next week onwards. You'll stay home and not go anywhere else."

Feng Jiu immediately burst out into tears, "I hate you, Di Jun! You always want things your way, and nobody dared to say no to you. I have always listened to everything that you say, but now I'm not going to do that anymore." Then she ran into the room and locked the doors.

Feng Jiu ran towards her bed and cuddled her pillow while tears fell uncontrollably from her eyes. "Di Jun has the female teacher touching him, but I'm not allowed to have other friends. This is so unfair! I hate Di Jun!" Then she cried even louder into her pillow.

Dong Hua stood frozen there and thought to himself, "Xiao Bai actually said no to me...? Does she not love me anymore?" He didn't realize that Feng Jiu was mad at him about Zhi He. Feng Jiu has never once talked back to him in this way, and he felt extremely hurt.

Then he looked at the dinner that she made for him. "Was I too harsh to her?" Dong Hua then served the dishes on the dining table and waited for Feng Jiu to come out of the room.

After waiting for a long time, he noticed that she wasn't coming out. He walked towards the bedroom door and tried to open it. Then he realized it was locked, so he used his powers to open it.

"Xiao Bai?" He said softly. Then he saw Feng Jiu passed out on the bed, with tears on her face. "She cried so much that she fell asleep? I shouldn't have been so harsh on her. She didn't even have her dinner."

Dong Hua then covered her with a blanket and kissed her forehead. "I'm sorry, Xiao Bai. I'll make it up to you tomorrow morning."

The next morning, Feng Jiu woke up and felt hungry. She noticed that Dong Hua wasn't sleeping beside her, and she thought to herself angrily, "Hmph! Better if Di Jun isn't around, I don't want to see him!" Then she took out her phone and messaged Cheng Yu.

Feng Jiu: Hey, Cheng Yu. Are you free today?

Cheng Yu: Yeah, I'm free. Why?

Feng Jiu: I feel like going to the bowling alley. Do you want to come with me? Just me and you today.

Cheng Yu: Don't you have to spend time with Di Jun? You both usually spend all your time together. I mean, I definitely don't mind going to the bowling alley!

Feng Jiu: He's busy today. Okay! I only need 30 minutes to get ready, and I'll leave the house after that.

Cheng Yu: Same! I missed hanging out with you, Feng Jiu. I'll see you there soon!

Feng Jiu then got up and took a quick shower. As she was leaving the house, she noticed that Dong Hua wasn't at home too. "He's avoiding me now? Fine, I'll just go out and have fun. I'm not going to forgive him until he apologized to me for what he did last night."

Then she promptly left the house and headed off to the bowling alley.

After she got onto the bus from the nearby bus stop, Dong Hua drove past her bus while he was on the way back home. Unfortunately, both of them didn't see each other.

It turns out that Dong Hua went out early in the morning to buy her favourite food to make it up to her. He felt terrible for what he did, and he couldn't even sleep well last night. "Hopefully, Xiao Bai would forgive me later. I'm going to apologize to her for treating her that way too."

When he arrived home, he realized that Feng Jiu was nowhere to be found. "Where is she?!" Then he tried calling her, but Feng Jiu switched off her phone since she didn't want to think about the fight. She knew that Dong Hua would demand her to come home if he couldn't find her later on. This time, she didn't care about what he would think or say, and she just wanted to have some fun on her own.

"Her phone is switched off? What is she doing? Where is she?" Dong Hua then tried to use his powers to track her down, but he wasn't able to do so. Feng Jiu already knew that he would do that, so she also cast a spell to stay hidden. Her willpower to stay hidden was so strong that Dong Hua couldn't break through her spell.

"Something is wrong. I can't track her at all." Dong Hua thought to himself. He also panicked and decided to call her friends.

First, he called Si Ming, but he had no idea where she was. Then he called Lian Song.

Dong Hua: Is my wife at your house?

Lian Song: Oh? She didn't tell you? She went out with Cheng Yu.

Dong Hua: Where?

Lian Song: Not sure, I didn't ask.

Dong Hua: You don't ask where your wife goes?

Lian Song: It's called trust. I have trust in Cheng Yu, so I don't always have to know her whereabouts. At the end of the day, she comes home to me, and that's all that matters.

Dong Hua: She also didn't tell you where she's going? Xiao Bai always tells me her whereabouts.

Lian Song: Did you have a fight with your wife?

After playing a round of bowling, Cheng Yu noticed that Feng Jiu seems troubled. "What's wrong, Feng Jiu?" She asked concernedly.

Feng Jiu pouted and replied sadly, "I have a fight with Di Jun. He's always trying to stop me from doing things. He wants me to quit school."

"Why? Maybe he has his reasons too." Cheng Yu replied, and she patted Feng Jiu's back to console her.

"Well... I learned a lot from school, even though it was really tough. I made a few friends as well, but Di Jun didn't like that. But I saw a female teacher touching him, and he didn't even bother to explain it to me!" Feng Jiu frowned.

"So you think it's unfair, right? Did you ask him about the female teacher?" Cheng Yu asked.

"Not yet. I didn't have a chance to ask him, and Di Jun was already fierce to me. I always listened to everything that he said, but this time I said no to him. When I woke up today, he was already out of the house. I think he's avoiding me." Feng Jiu bowed her head.

"You guys need to learn how to communicate. Just like Lian Song and me, we argue all the time, but we also learn from it and strengthen our marriage. I know Di Jun can be quite hard to talk to sometimes, but you also have to learn how to speak up your mind towards him. If you're feeling jealous about that female teacher, then you have to talk to him about it too." Cheng Yu smiled.

Feng Jiu furrowed her brows and replied, "You think it would work if I told him about it? I'm afraid that he would scold me. Di Jun is always so stern and controlling."

"If you don't try, you'll never know. Just try to talk to him and see how it goes, okay?"

Feng Jiu then smiled and replied, "Thank you, Cheng Yu. I feel so much better now. I'll try to talk to Di Jun about it tonight."

Right at this moment, Lian Song called Cheng Yu and informed her about the dinner at Dong Hua's mansion.

Cheng Yu then said to Feng Jiu after she hung up the phone, "We are heading to your place for dinner tonight. Maybe we could help you both reconcile. Knowing Lian Song, he would probably spew nonsense, so I'll try to do the talking."

"Oh? Di Jun actually invited them to our house? He used to be so possessive, and he wouldn't let anyone else spend time with me." Feng Jiu silently thought to herself. Then she nodded her head and replied to Cheng Yu, "Hopefully, we would be able to stop fighting. I already miss Di Jun, and I hate having a cold war with him."

Then the both of them headed back to Feng Jiu's place for dinner.

Lian Song arrived early at Dong Hua's place since he figured that Dong Hua might need some advice before Feng Jiu comes home.

Dong Hua then sat down beside Lian Song on the sofa without saying a word.

"You want me to be honest with you?" Lian Song asked. Dong Hua pondered, "I'll hear him out and see what he says. Maybe I'll learn something. I mean, I want to be a better husband for Xiao Bai too." Then he replied calmly, "Sure."

"Okay, I'll be honest with you. I think sometimes you're too controlling over Feng Jiu." Lian Song said nervously, and he waited for a response from Dong Hua.

"Go on." Dong Hua said calmly.

"You should learn to have more trust in her. Everyone could see how much Feng Jiu loves you. Every time she does something, she would also think of you. If it was Cheng Yu, I would have gotten a big slap on my face if I controlled her."

"Hmm..." Dong Hua didn't know how to respond because he knew that it made sense. Then he asked softly, "So... What should I do?"

Lian Song was a little taken aback since he didn't expect that the almighty Dong Hua Di Jun would actually ask him for advice. Then he replied confidently, "Let her do what she likes. I know for sure that Feng Jiu wouldn't do anything to break your trust. She's the most loyal person I have ever met, and you have nothing to worry about."

"I guess I could try." Dong Hua replied calmly.

At this moment, they both heard the main door opening, and they knew that Feng Jiu was home.

Feng Jiu nervously thought to herself while opening the main door, "I don't know how to face Di Jun now. Luckily, Cheng Yu and Lian Song are here."

Then they noticed that Dong Hua and Lian Song were sitting at the dining table waiting for them.

"Come eat." Dong Hua said coldly, and he walked into the kitchen to get some rice. Cheng Yu pushed Feng Jiu to go into the kitchen to talk to Dong Hua.

"I'm scared." Feng Jiu frowned. Cheng Yu then encouraged her, "He is your husband, so you shouldn't be afraid. Try to talk to him." Feng Jiu then slowly walked towards the kitchen while Cheng Yu went to sit down with Lian Song.

Dong Hua noticed Feng Jiu walking into the kitchen, and he didn't know what to say. Then he took another bowl out and said to Feng Jiu, "You want some rice, Xiao Bai?"

Feng Jiu then slowly walked closer to him and replied softly, "Yes, give me more rice. I'm hungry." Dong Hua then smiled a little and replied, "That's because you skipped dinner last night. I'm sorry, Xiao Bai. Can we talk things out after they leave?"

Feng Jiu smiled a little and nodded her head, "Okay, let's talk about it later." Dong Hua slowly held on to her hand. Then he instantly remembered something and let go of her hand. "I didn't ask for permission to touch you." He said.

Feng Jiu held onto his hand again and replied, "It's okay. I give you permission now." Then they smiled sweetly at each other.

Lian Song then walked into the kitchen and saw them holding hands. "Ops. I'm here to get some rice."

Feng Jiu blushed and ran out of the kitchen. Lian Song then patted Dong Hua's shoulder and gave him a thumbs-up. Then they both took their bowls of rice and headed out.

After they had dinner, Lian Song excitedly said to everyone, "So... I have a piece of good news to announce!"

Dong Hua replied sarcastically, "Nothing good can come out of you." Lian Song smirked and replied instantly, "But it can come out of Cheng Yu."

Cheng Yu immediately slapped his hand and said, "You're full of nonsense. Just tell them the good news."

Feng Jiu leaned forward in her seat and asked excitedly, "What is it?! Tell us now! I can't wait."

Lian Song and Cheng Yu looked at each other, and then they said at the same time, "We are having a baby!"

"What?! Cheng Yu is pregnant?!" Feng Jiu's eyes widened with shock.

Cheng Yu nodded her head and smiled shyly, "Yes, we just found out a few days ago. We also want you to be our child's godmother."

"Really?! I can't wait! If it's a girl, we could dress her up. If it's a boy, I hope he doesn't end up like Lian Song." Feng Jiu chuckled. Cheng Yu snickered and replied, "Hopefully, my child looks like me too! It would be terrible if they looked like their father."

Dong Hua was shocked too, and he thought to himself, "Lian Song is going to be a father? I'm actually feeling happy for them. I wonder how I would feel if Xiao Bai was pregnant. I'll probably be very jealous of my own kid since Xiao Bai wouldn't pay me any attention anymore." Then he said calmly to Lian Song, "Finally, something good comes out of you."

Lian Song raised his eyebrows and replied, "Yeah. It literally 'came' out of me. And now it would come out of Cheng Yu." Then he winked.

Dong Hua shook his head, and Cheng Yu face-palmed herself. "You're going to be a father soon, and you're still making stupid jokes like that."

"Hopefully, our child would be as funny as me." Lian Song smirked. Cheng Yu immediately rebutted, "No! They would be more like me." Then both of them started 'arguing' as usual.

Feng Jiu thought to herself, "I'm so happy for them, especially for Cheng Yu. She's going to be a mother. I wonder what it would be like if I'm a mother someday. But Dong Hua probably wouldn't like it since he's so jealous. I also want to have more fun before we have kids." Then she smiled and looked at Dong Hua.

Dong Hua also smiled back and gestured her to head into the kitchen. "I can't believe they are going to be parents. Just look at those two arguing like kids." Feng Jiu chuckled.

"Yeah. I can't imagine them as parents, especially Lian Song. But I'm sure Cheng Yu would be a good mother." Dong Hua replied calmly.

Feng Jiu then asked softly, "Do you think I'll be a good mother in future, Di Jun?"

Dong Hua then patted her head and replied lovingly, "Of course you'll be a good mother, Xiao Bai. I know you don't want kids now, neither do I. But if someday you changed your mind, tell me about it." Then he smiled warmly.

"I will. We still have to talk about our fight last night. It was bothering me the whole day." Feng Jiu frowned. Dong Hua also frowned and replied, "Me too, Xiao Bai. I couldn't sleep the whole night as well. Let's talk about it later."

Lian Song then yelled out from the dining room, "We are going to leave now; it's getting late."

Feng Jiu and Dong Hua then walked out of the kitchen. "Alright, thanks for coming over for dinner tonight!" Feng Jiu said, and she smiled brightly.

They walked Lian Song and Cheng Yu to the main door and bid them goodbye. Feng Jiu gave Cheng Yu a big hug and said sweetly, "I'm so happy for you, Cheng Yu. Take good care of yourself and the baby. Keep me updated! I can't wait to be a godmother."

Cheng Yu smiled and whispered to Feng Jiu, "I will! Remember to talk to Di Jun about how you feel and be honest with him." Feng Jiu whispered back, "Don't worry, I'll heed your advice and talk to Di Jun."

Then Lian Song and Cheng Yu got into their car and drove off.

Feng Jiu and Dong Hua then sat at the sofa in the living room. "Xiao Bai, hear me out first, okay?" Dong Hua asked.

"Okay, I'm all ears." Feng Jiu replied.

Dong Hua cleared his throat and said softly, "I'm sorry, Xiao Bai. I shouldn't have been so harsh on you and force you to quit school. I know you enjoy going to school, and I was just worried that I'm no longer important to you. I didn't want you to make any new friends because I was afraid that you'd lose interest in me. Lian Song taught me that I'd need to learn how to trust and let you do the things you love. But I'm bad at this, Xiao Bai. I don't know what to do. Last night, I couldn't sleep at all. I woke up very early to head out and bought you some of your favourite food. When I got home, I couldn't find you, and I panicked." Then he frowned.

Feng Jiu bowed her head and frowned, "I'm sorry too, Di Jun. I didn't tell you the truth about how I felt. I saw a female teacher touching you, and I felt very jealous. I don't like it when other girls touch you because only I can do it! Then you didn't explain it to me, so I got more mad at you. But I also want to have some freedom to make friends too... I won't do anything to break your trust if you give me that chance. I love going to school, and I love making new friends. But I know you won't like that."

Dong Hua immediately turned over to Feng Jiu and replied, "You were jealous of me and Zhi He? Xiao Bai, I'm actually glad that you're jealous because it means that I'm important to you. It's my fault for not explaining it to you since I didn't think it was important. That girl is nothing to me. Yes, she used to have a crush on me, but I have never ever given her a chance or looked at her. You're the only one in my heart, and it would forever stay that way. I love you too much to let you go, Xiao Bai. I'm sorry that I'm controlling at times, but I'll try my best to change. I won't stop you from going to school."

"How about making new friends?" Feng Jiu looked at Dong Hua with her side-eyes.

"Hmm... Girls are fine. But if it's a guy, I need to know everything about him first." Dong Hua replied.

"So, you're jealous of Wen Chang?" Feng Jiu teased Dong Hua. He looked away and avoided her question, "You said that you were jealous of Zhi He?"

Feng Jiu then pouted and folded her arms across her chest. "Of course! How dare she touch my Di Jun? Only I can touch him!"

"Oh?" Dong Hua said, and he pulled Feng Jiu onto his lap. "Xiao Bai, I missed you so much. I can't stand not being around you." Then he started kissing Feng Jiu passionately while hugging her waist tightly.

"You have another girl to touch you anyway!" Feng Jiu replied sarcastically. Dong Hua smirked and replied, "But I only want my Xiao Bai to touch me. Do I have your permission to touch you now?"

"Yes." Feng Jiu giggled. Then she kissed Dong Hua on his cheek and added on, "Di Jun, I miss you so much. I also miss your lessons."

"Oh? You miss my lessons?" Dong Hua then swiftly carried her up in his arms and brought her to the bedroom.

"Tonight, we will have double lessons since we missed one last night. I didn't even get to eat your chicken breast and thigh dinner last night." Dong Hua got on top of Feng Jiu, and he started kissing her passionately again.

"I can't breathe!" Feng Jiu said. Dong Hua smiled and replied, "I don't care. I'm going to kiss you until you're out of breath. I'll make it up to you for making you mad last night."

"Your 'make-up' lessons better be good then." Feng Jiu then hooked her arms around his neck to pull him closer and kissed him back passionately.

"It's Sunday tomorrow so we could go all night long." Dong Hua used his powers to make her clothes disappear instantly.

Then he used his powers to switch off the lights, and they continued their make-up lessons.

I'm glad that we managed to clear our misunderstandings and strengthen our marriage.
