"On behalf of everyone here, welcome to Atlantic Records." Craig, the CEO/ President, says.

"I'm happy to be here." I respond.

I just finished signing a five million dollar deal with Atlantic. I did some negotiating with them about my contract. I wouldn't sign unless they signed Jaden as well. He's a really good producer. He produced all of my songs and he can rap to.

The meeting wrapped up and my boys and I wondered out on the streets of New York. That's where Atlantic is so we had took a trip out here.

It's so different out here. I kinda like it. I was hesitant on leaving Maddy alone but she reassured me that she would be fine. That she would be with Kat and Lexi.

Speaking of my wife, I told her I would call her after the meeting was over. I took my phone out and FaceTimed her.

Once the phone disconnected, I do the first thing that they told me to do. Create social media accounts. I created a Twitter, Snapchat and Instagram page.

Right now the boys and I were going to get something to eat. Afterwards we had to come back to Atlantic. They wanted me to a record a single so that they can drop it under them. It's a way for them to introduce me as their newest artist.

"I heard New York got the best pizza." AJ says.

We found the nearest pizza place and sat at a booth. A waitress came and asked what we wanted to drink and gave us time to look over the menu.

My phone dinged letting me know that I got a message. Out of instinct I expected it to be Maddy like it normally is but it wasn't. In fact it was the opposite.

What could Cassie possibly be texting me for? I don't even have a good feeling about this. Maddy would kill me if she even knew I still had this girl number. Curiosity is getting the best of me though.

Me- What's up?

Cass- do you think we could talk? I heard you're out of town so it could wait til you come back

Talk about what exactly? We have nothing to converse about. But once again this leads back to curiosity.

I didn't respond as there was nothing left to say. Once the food came the boys and I ate and talked about damn near everything. But Cassie was still stuck on my mind.

I walked into the dark house happy to be home. New York was fun and all but being with Maddy is better. I left my suitcase at the door not feeling like taking it upstairs.

I carefully opened the room door and seen Maddy sleeping peacefully. I stripped out of my hoodie and sweatpants and climbed into bed next to her. Out of habit I started rubbing her stomach.

I felt her stir in her sleep before she turned over and looked at me. Her eyes brightened up once she realized it was me. "You're finally back."

"I told you I'd be back tonight didn't I?" I say.

"I know just don't leave me again." Maddy responds.

"I don't plan on it baby girl." I say and kiss her forehead.

She gets comfortable in my arms before I she goes back to sleep. I heard her light snores which I thought was very cute. Without a care in the world, I fell asleep right next to the love of my life.
