Chapter 21

"Incident"

There was a mortuary atmosphere in the room, there was silence between the two men. Fear praised one of them, and the other was anger. Nobody dared to speak, nobody moved. Until finally, the younger man's legs could not stand and he fell to his knees all the time keeping eye contact with his brother, tears streaming down his face, a smile on his lips and a confusion in his head.

"N-Nii... san..." he stuttered, finally staring in disbelief, at that moment he saw nothing but his dead brother. "How's that... How are you..? Can..." he couldn't express himself, he didn't know what to say, he felt the joy kindle his body. "You disappointed me, Sasuke. Me and our parents." His tone was cool, his eyes sharp and piercing, Itachi was disgusted with his younger brother.

Sasuke froze at the words of his brother. He wanted to say something, he wanted to defend himself, he had to do it! Even so, not a single word came out of his mouth, he only lowered his head. "I am happy that you have a family, that you are happy, but..." he emphasized the last word especially. Yes, he was glad his brother had a life that he himself could not have. Still, he couldn't forgive him for his choice, maybe it was just such an impression, but he saw, in a different way, his little brother making the same mistakes as their ancestors.

"I can't believe what you did to Naruto. Do you really have no pride to at least apologize to him? " He didn't look up. Sakura, who would normally immediately start to defend him, this time she was standing next to him watching and silent. He was right, she didn't have the strength. She was afraid, shocked and scared that her husband's deceased brother was at their house. She could only watch closely.

"Maybe we will go for a walk? You wanted to see the village, didn't you Uncle?" the tense atmosphere was interrupted by a sudden question from the black-haired girl. Though she knew her uncle was right, she felt that her father needed a breath before continuing to talk, if any. Both men agreed with her, Sakura decided she want to stay at home.

In a completely different part of Konoha, stood Boruto, who was at the end of tears, and Kawaki, who could not stand the blonde anymore. What was the problem? Well, the two boys left their younger sister in the park, at her request, when they went to pack their things. Of course they were against it, but in the end they were convinced, and now...

Now they couldn't find her.

"Can you stop?" he asked, irritated, he was fed up with his younger brother, who for a few good minutes was almost crying, only complaining over and over again. "I didn't know Boruto was such a cry.'' Suddenly both teenagers heard a familiar voice belonging to their older brother. When they turned around, they saw Saruto and Menma. "Maybe because I'm not a crybaby, dummy!" He almost screamed in his face, although it didn't impress the older of them. "Yeah, what are you guys doing here?'' He paid little attention to the blonde, instead he turned all his attention to the oldest of them.

Saruto smiled warmly. "Okaa-san asked us to check if you have finished and make sure you wait for him under the tower without any problems." he explained, giving the other two a look that clearly suggested they were being talked about. Out of nowhere, they heard a soft girly voice. The voice came soft, probably considering the distance, was familiar. Without unnecessary words, the four walked in the direction from which the scream was coming.

A few minutes earlier, three Uchiha were walking in the park. Sarada happily told her uncle about Konoha, in which he hadn't been for a few good years, about the academy and her team, as well as about her friends. Itachi, who was listening to his niece's stories with a smile, was glad that he got the chance to meet her. And Sasuke, who was walking a little bit behind them, listening to the minor exchange of views between the other two.

They were stopped by screams coming from the clearing they were passing by. Sarada looked closely and recognized Himawari together with the two children from the academy. "Isn't that Himawari?" She turned to her father. "Oh, I feel sorry for these two." he said coldly. Sarada didn't understand at first what her father meant, but as soon as she heard the desperate scream of the violet-haired girl, it became clear to her.

Two girls, one of them stood with one foot on the kneeling Himawari, who was propping up with her hands trying to push the girl off her back, and the other was standing in front of her, laughing in her face. "You're not as strong as they say at the academy." the girl standing opposite, crouched down to be able to look at her eyes. "It's really a pity, we were hoping for a good fight." tears began to come to Himawari's eyes. Tears from the pain she felt from the pressure on her back. "What a crybaby." The laugh she heard behind her was horrible, hoarse, and stinging in her ears.

"Please, it hurts." She was almost begging when she felt the girl lift her leg up behind her. For a moment she hoped it was over, but a second later she felt a dull pain and slapped her face to the ground. Himawari turned to face the attacker, thus giving the girl who had only been watching so far a chance to grab her by the hair. She tugged brutally at her hair, forcing her to raise her head as much as to kneel with her head tilted back. Seeing what the girl was going to do in front of her, she tried to turn her head, but because of the tightness on her hair, she couldn't, only raised her hands up in a defensive gesture, began to jerk and sob loudly.

"Let go of me!" she screamed as she felt the blood begin to flow down her face. "Please! Let me go! " her screams didn't reach the ears of her captors, instead she heard that terrible cackle again. She took a deep breath and screamed with all her strength in desperation, hoping that they would hear her voice, that they were somewhere nearby, and that they were looking for her, that one of them would come to help her...

"Onii-san!"
