Chapter 15

"We did it!"

It was exactly as the blonde said, as soon as they reached their destination, Naruto steered the two boys to one of the empty rooms and took the girl to his bedroom as he was worried about her more than the other two. He fell asleep quickly that night.

The next day, the blond was greeted with the sounds of an argument. He rose heavily from the bed, looking at the still sleeping girl. He smiled and adjusted the covers, covering his little girl, and went out to check where the sounds were coming from.

To his surprise, it turned out to be Menma and Boruto who were arguing about... who should go wake him up. The blonde just laughed watching as two of his sons argued about something so banal, and the other two stood with obvious irritation listening to their screams. "Now, now, because you'll wake Himawari and Minato soon." he said, finally entering the kitchen. The boys looked at their father, then at each other. "Sorry," they both said at the same time, receiving only a soft chuckle in response.

"As I can see you have already met." he said, putting in the water, he really wanted a coffee. Kawaki and Saruto looked at each other and, to the blonde's surprise, both turned to smile at him. "That's right! Kawaki is a good talker, we talked all night. " Saruto happily admitted to him. "Saruto, on the other hand, is a good listener." He returned enthusiasm, though to a lesser extent showed it, to the older of them. The blond looked questioningly at the two boys. "All night? Did we disturb your sleep, Saruto? And you, Kawaki, couldn't you fall asleep? "

"No, I just... I felt your chakra and wanted to see what happened, that you came in the middle of the night, then I met Kawaki when I went to drink." the slightly ashamed black-haired boy admitted. Kawaki just nodded, answering the question himself. "I just... had to rethink what happened." he admitted, looking away. He didn't want to admit it, but he was worried about the blonde, he was like a father to him after all, even if he didn't usually show it. "I understand, I'm glad you two became friends!" He said, pouring boiling water over coffee. "And you, Boruto? How did you sleep?" he asked, drawing attention to the youngest of the four present. "To be honest, I don't even know when I fell asleep." he admitted embarrassed, the man just chuckled softly, glad that at least he had managed to sleep through the night.

"Okaa-san." the younger of the black-haired boys said. "What happened you're here? Not that I'm not happy or something, just... you don't usually visit us that often..." there was a hollow silence, Boruto and Kawaki didn't know if they should talk about it, and Naruto just took a sip of his hot drink and looked at almost black liquid. "We will spend a few days here, although I should rather say that we will be here permanently." The blonde replied calmly, taking another sip of the drink. Menma looked at his father with joy and disbelief at the same time, at the same time Saruto was rather... confused, he didn't know how to react, especially since he managed to get to know the outline of the situation at night.

"I'll explain the situation to you later, and for now, who is going to get Kakashi up?" The answer was obvious, after a few seconds from asking the question, the two younger sons of the blonde headed towards the room of the silver-haired man. The blond man could have vowed that if not for the fact that they are both from two different relationships, these two would certainly be twins. "Then I'll go wake Minato and then help you with breakfast." Saruto smiled at his father and, having finished washing the cup, left the kitchen. Kawaki and Naruto were left alone. "Then I'll go get Himawari." he said, more to himself than to a blonde teenager. "If you could." he said, smiling at the boy. The teenager just grunted in reply and left.

The breakfast passed quietly in a pleasant atmosphere, of course he had to explain the situation to his three children and his brother. Kakashi understood the choice of his younger brother, he also knew what it meant for him, the end of his days of freedom from paperwork was approaching. The boys, on the other hand, were, by no means confused, but didn't comment on either their father's actions or his, as yet current, wife. Of course, the residents of the house were not the only ones to explain the situation, as soon as he finished eating breakfast, actually before talking to Kakashi and the other three of his children, he made a phone call to his friend and adviser, explaining to him in general, without much detail what happened, and that he may not be in the village for a few days.

However, it was not the only call that morning, the calm flow of the morning was disturbed by a sudden phone call from the person whom the blonde least expected, Orochimaru. When the blonde saw the inscription on the screen, he looked around to make sure that no one was around and picked up the calls. "Naruto" to his surprise he heard a female voice, well known to him, the voice of his cousin. "Karin? Why are you calling from Orochimaru's phone? " the surprised man asked, once again making sure that he read the name of the contact correctly. "Eh, I left my phone in the room and I have some really important information that will make you happy!" the woman announced happily. The blonde rolled his eyes, which she obviously couldn't see, waiting for her to reveal this "important information" to him. "What about-"

"We did it!"
