"Breaking news! Since his return two days ago Hawks has discovered the hideout of the league of villains resulting in the capture of three of their members. Kurogiri, Twice and Mr Compress, as of right now there are still members that the authorities have been unable to locate but they are working on it"

"Ah shit" Dabi mumbled as he continued to flick through the channels "did you see the way he looked at me? It was like he didn't even know who I...." he cut himself off suddenly having an idea. "You said they did something to him" he stated turning to face Miruko who was doing Toga's hair.

"Yeah it's not exactly common knowledge but theres been loads of heroes working through the commission that have been reported to have sudden and unexplained...." Miruko cut herself off "those bastards!" She exclaimed as she suddenly left. Dabi had no idea what had just happened but he instinctively followed her anyway. "Hey! Wanna finish what you were saying?" He called after her.

"What I'm saying is that it doesn't make sense" Hawks argued down the phone again. "Yeah I know but...." he started to say before being cut off by the person on the other end "fine... whatever" he replied before hanging up. Hawks had come to the conclusion that he wasnt going to yell the commission about Miruko. He had, however, told them that he had come into contact with Dabi.

He just couldn't get his head around how either of them had known his real name, the commission had made sure to erase Keigo Takami from the world when he was just a kid. The only way they could have known that name was impossible, he would have remembered telling people, especially since if he was caught doing it he would have got into a lot of trouble.

Even though he wouldnt admit it Hawks wanted to see the villain again. He coyldnt help but feel like he might know something. Without even considering calling the commission, or taking into consideration the cold, he flew off towards where he had seen the villain before. Hawks gracefully landed before attempting to find Dabi, or even Miruko.

"Rumi! Where are you going? You realise if they really did wipe his mind they could easily do the same to you" Dabi warned the hero. Miruko ignored what he said as she marched towards the commission only stopping when she thought she had seen large red wings. The distraction didn't go unnoticed either "did you see something?" Miruko slowly walked to where she thought she had seen Hawks only to see nothing "hmm... I guess not"

Hawks finally realised his mistake. He was hopeless in the cold, he attempted to go somewhere warm except, it was late. Everywhere had already closed. He desperately tried to stay as warm as he could knowing that if he got any colder he could die. Hawks always knew he was particularly weak to the cold, one of his more bird like traits, but he often ignored that fact. Now he was suffering for it. As a last resort and slight panic move he sent a few feathers out, as long as he stayed conscious they would find help.

"You're determined to...." Dabi cut himself off as red feathers shot past him. He caught one "Rumi stop, he's in trouble" without waiting to see if she was following Dabi released the feather and followed it to its owner. Dabi wasnt entirely sure where the feather was leading him other than down some darl alley.

The only thing that gave away someone possibly being there was a small fire at the other end. The feather suddenly stopped and fell to the ground "Hawks!" Dabi called hoping to get some sort of response. He continued to call as he walked towards the fire only to find that Hawks was unconscious next to the now dwindling heat source "you idiot" Dabi grumbled as he used his fire for some real heat.

I think this took longer than I had meant it to and I feel like it's still pretty short 😭 anyway I hope you're enjoying the story so far
