As Dabi left he gave one last kiss "I'll see you later" he smiled as he jumped out the window. Hawks was just happy he was being let out, the doctor came and did last checks before clearing him to go. He still hadn't regrown his wings but he could tell they were starting to come back. Unfortunately for him, he was being picked up by someone from the commission. Hawks had never learned to drive, he never needed to.

He sat in the car as the man who had picked him up talked. Of course he wasn't paying attention instead he was daydreaming about when Touya was declared dead. How he had been heartbroken, at that time Hawks hadn't had a chance to tell Dabi how he really felt. For ages after he refused to let anyone in, wouldn't even try to befriend anyone else. For a while others were lucky to see him outside of his room for anything other than training.

"Hawks?" The man asked snapping him out of his thoughts "they're not kidding, you really are distracted, you know they're not gonna like that" he stated. Hawks knew he was right but he couldn't help it. Dabi had been the only one to treat him like an actual human being rather than a broken toy that constantly needed to be fixed, Dabi was the only one who thought he was perfect the way he was.

The later it got the more worried Dabi got. Hawks was supposed to text him once he was out, once he was safe but he still hadn't recieved a text. "What's on your mind?" Toga asked. Dabi sat slouching, he figured he might as well talk "Hawks was meant to message hours ago" he mumbled.

"I can try to find out where he went if that helps" Toga suggested. Dabi was taken a little by surprise but agreed anyway "just make sure he's okay... and don't take his blood" he added as she left. After a couple hours Toga returned "he's missing"

Dabi stood up "what? Missing? How? He was being picked up" he was clearly confused. How could Hawks have gone missing if he was being picked up, it didn't make sense. "Okay, you're gonna help me find him" he finally concluded.

He had decided to start in the most obvious place, the commission. Something about this whole thing didn't seem right. "We're gonna grab one of the members and you can transform into them, can't believe I'm about to say this but once you're in it's up to you, I cant help you" he stated. He knew he couldnt go in hinself he was too recognisable but Toga could transform. It was the perfect quirk for the job.

Once Dabi saw someone he knew worked there he gestured to Toga, letting her know to grab him. "You know this is extremely risky, he's not someone important is he?" She asked as she took some of his blood. Dabi had obviously thought of that already "no hes one of the lower down members, just get in have a look around see what you can find out and then get out" he replied.

Toga transformed before taking her clothes off "an hour at the most" she said before grabbing the man's ID and strolling away. She carefully made her way into the building. She felt a little uncomfortable being surrounded by professionals like this on her own but if she was longer than an hour Dabi would come help her. She trusted him to come for her. Toga walked around listening to everything, there was nothing of interest until eventually she heard someone mention Hawks.

Dabi was becoming impatient, she had already been in there almost an hour. If she took much longer he would have to go get her himself. As time passed he debated giving her more time until he decided to go in. It was as he was leaving that Toga disguised as he man came back "okay so, they have him, nobody seems to know where he is though, other than with them" she explained as she grabbed her clothes and transformed back.

Dabi had an idea "wait, if say, a friend, reported him missing they would have to let him out right? Otherwise there would be a lot of people panicking" he smirked "looks like we need to find Miruko"
