"What information do you want on Endeavour?" Dabi asked as he slammed his fist on the table. He knew he would probably regret this at some point but if it meant keeping Hawks away from the psychopath it was worth it. "Any dirt on him would be good and any information on his kids, especially the one that went missing that interests me"

Of course that's what he wanted. Dabi sat down and ran his fingers through his own hair. He was definitely going to regret this "you're looking at him" he stated. Everything in the base went silent as they all turned to look at him "wait... you're telling us that you're the son of the number one hero?" Toga asked after what felt like an eternity of silence. "Why are you only telling us this now?" She asked before Dabi had chance to reply.

"Since I'm sharing, I wanna keep my boyfriend away from you, crazypants" Dabi replied "so, do what you want but he doesn't know who I really am, he was the worlds shittiest dad and the whole of my family think I'm dead" he explained. Dabi really didn't want to reveal anything about his past, in fact if he could mysteriously forget about it he would be happy to. The only thing he wanted to remember of his past was Hawks.

Hawks woke in the hospital a little confused, Dabi had gone and he wanted the other to come back. Hawks knew it was stupid to want his criminal boyfriend to stay at the hospital with him, but he didn't really want anyone else. He reached for the remote and turned on the tv. Of course the first thing that showed up was the news talking about his recent run in with villains. Great, now he would have to face a whole bunch of questions and security would be increased to keep them out, so it would be harder for Dabi to come by.

He looked at the time at the bottom of the screen 10:30 am he had slept through the night at least. Hawks attempted to get up only to be stopped by the pain in his back where his wings should have been. A knock on his door startled him but he called them in anyway, curious as to who would be visiting him. Once the door was opened he could see it was the leader of the hero commission, great, the last thing he wanted was to have to deal with them.

As he was being spoken to he zoned out, only thinking of all the times he had been with Touya, or, Dabi. The time they first met at the commission had been one of his favourite memories. When Touya was declared dead without him having chance to confess how he felt had been the worst. He could remember both occasions as though they had happened just a day earlier.

Since Hawks had been taken by the commission at such a young age and groomed to be a hero he hadnt been particularly good at making friends. Who would want to be friends with a ten year old who had only ever known the way of the commission. On the day he met Touya there had been a couple kids picking on him for his wings, everyone else had started to join in when Touya appeared and made them leave him alone. That was when their friendship had started.

"Are you even listening to me?" The commission leader asked noticing how spaced out Hawks seemed. "Honestly no, but I don't really care what kind of lecture you're giving me this time" he admitted voice filled with sass and annoyance. "You've become very distracted lately, if it's a girl you should know that you don't have time for that nonsense" as the commission leader continued to lecture Hawks he spaced out again.

Dabi had spilled what he was willing to spill to the league but there was still a lot he wanted to keep to himself. He had wanted to go check up on Hawks but with the commission leader there, the press that were surely waiting to interview Hawks after that news entry. He couldn't without getting caught.

"Is somebody grumpy they cant see their boyfriend" Toga teased. Dabi didnt even look in her direction to make his threat "I will not hesitate to burn you to ashes if you dont shut the fuck up" he lit his hand on fire until she left. He was annoyed, partly because he couldn't see Hawks in the hospital but, mostly because Hawks was in the hospital.

"And on top of that girls..." the commission leader started before being interrupted "for the love of sanity I'm gay okay" Hawks snapped. If he had to listen to this idiot lecture him about his love life he could at least lecture him about the boy he was seeing. "Not that it's any of your business" he added clearly very annoyed. Hawks was relieved when a nurse came to tell them that visiting hours were over and he was finally left alone. "Doctor says you should be able to leave tomorrow" the nurse added as she left.

Dabi kept a close eye on the hospital, once he saw the commission leader leave he took his chance. He propelled his way to Hawks knocking on the window when he got there. He pushed the window enough to climb through "time for me?" Dabi asked smirking. Hawks lightened up and smiled "I've always got time for you" he got out of bed and closed the blinds.

"Why did you help me? When we first met?" Hawks asked confusing Dabi a little "that's a bit random little bird, but it was because when those kids were picking on you I guess I saw myself in the way you fought back" Dabi stated. "Even though your chances of winning were zero, you still fought back. Figured you could use a hand" he smiled.
