"Touch him again and I'll end you" Dabi threatened. Shigaraki smirked "get the information we want and we won't have to hurt him" Dabi stormed away, conflicted. When he and Hawks first started seeing each other they made a promise to each other that hero and villain related things, especially information, would stay out of it. He wouldn't ask for information on the heroes and Hawks wouldn't ask about the villains.

Until now it had been easy but of course the league would try to use their relationship to get information. Dabi knew he had been stupid to think otherwise. He also knew the league wouldnt give up and he couldnt just allow them to hurt Hawks for the sake of information. Frustrated by his current situation he punched the nearest thing, a wall, creating a hole which he figured he would have to fix. Nobody else would.

Once he was sure that the hospital visiting hours were over and there would be no nurses Dabi left the villains base and headed for the hospital. He knew one thing for sure, Hawks would be in a private room on the hero ward of the hospital. Dabi knew what he was about to do would be risky and if he didn't pull it off he would be arrested, or worse, but he had to see him. Dabi grabbed a hoodie and a pair of sunglasses on his way out and headed straight for the hospital.

"Hawks?" He asked once he had made it to the front desk. Dabi was glad that the lady didn't look up as she asked "relative?"
"Yeah" he replied seeing how far he could push his luck. The lady looked on the computer searching for where Hawks was before she went back to her phone "hero ward, room thirteen" of course Dabi knew with it being the hero ward he couldn't just walk up there and stroll into Hawks room. What he needed was a plan.

Hawks had been in and out of consciousness for hours. It just so happened to be during time that Hawks was conscious that there was a knock on the window. Hawks was confused, the hero ward was on the second floor, who would be at his window? He looked at the window to see Dabi, holding onto the windowsill gesturing to be let in.

Hawks knew he wouldnt be able to get up to let Dabi in and attempted to send a couple feathers to open the window. Except... there were no feathers to send, his wings were gone. As the realisation hit that he might never fly again he gestured for Dabi to hide and he pushed the call button. Within a couple minutes a nurse walked in and asked what he wanted "I'm a little hot, could you open the window a little for me?" He asked.

The nurse smiled and opened the window for him "and, how are you?" She seemed to genuinely care and she must have realised Hawks was feeling down. Hawks smiled back "I'm fine just gotta rest up right" he gave a small laugh before the nurse gave a final smile and left the room.

As soon as Dabi saw the nurse walk out and shut the door he opened the window more and climbed in. "So how are you really doing?" He could see through Hawks and his lie "and don't lie to me okay angel" he added. Hawks looked away trying to find the words to describe how he felt "I overheard them talking, they don't know if I'll ever grow my wings back and even if I do I might not fly again"

Dabi's eyes widened, just from that sentance he knew how Hawks must have been feeling. He couldn't even begin to think how he himself would feel, if he suddenly lost his quirk with no guarantee of getting it back. Not to mention for Hawks it would be worse, it must have been like losing a limb "Hawks? Even if you don't fly again, you're still you, you're still my angel okay" he sat next to Hawks and lifted his head "nothing will ever change that"

Hawks smiled at least he knew one person that wouldn't abandon him. He would never admit it but abandonment was one of his only fears, it was one of the only things that terrified him to his core. "Thanks" he paused "how did you get up here?" He asked changing the subject and really wanting to know.

"Ah I used my flames to propel me most of the way, had to climb the last little bit but that's fine" he waved it off as though it was nothing. Hawks laughed a little before it turned into a fit of coughing which hurt "will... will you stay, just until I either go to sleep or pass out again?" Hawks asked not caring if he sounded as insecure as he felt. Dabi nodded and gestured for Hawks to scoot over so they could cuddle until Hawks finally passed out again.

Dabi carefully got up trying his best not to wake the sleeping hero "you've made me soft, ya idiot" he mumbled as he gave Hawks a quick kiss on the forehead. He headed for the window carefully climbing out before he shut the window still leaving it slightly open. Dabi took one more look at Hawks before he jumped and used his flames to soften his landing and ran back to the base. "What information do you wanna know about Endeavour?"
