Two damn weeks and all he does is stare at me like a lost puppy and then he had the nerve to sigh as if its his last day on earth .I know women are terrifying creatures but its not like I will kill him after I hear whatever it is he has to say.

"Do you have something to say to me?"I put my book down and glanced up at him. Addy was on his lap ,playing around with his phone.

"What?No...its nothing."He was nervous which was a first for him.Why the hell is he acting like a damn guilty criminal.

"What the hell is it?"ok...maybe I was the crazy one.I didn't mean to shout ,I was just impatient .

"Its Bridget."He looked anywhere but me

"Your fiancé. So what does she want from me?"I frowned at her name.

"She's pregnant."I didn't mean to..but then again I laughed so hard I even surprised my own baby.

"I'm not joking Addy."he glared at me .What was wrong with this woman?

"I know. So why are you telling me?I thought you were gonna tell me she's dead."It was soon going to happen anyway .That witch was so good playing Alexis since he was being stupid.Pregnant? As if she would let that happen.The woman hates babies more that anything and he believed her?Idiotic man.

"Congratulations. I guess Thomas is gonna have someone to play with soon."I  smiled at him ,he was confused now and I knew it.

"I guess so.Are you ok about all this?"he eyed me curiously.

"You are marrying the woman Alexis ,it was bound to happen anyway."I will find out if she was pregnant or not so for now i had to play it cool.

"If you say so."he turned his attention to his son .

"Would you stop sulking Alexis!"What the hell was wrong with him.He was acting like a child busy sulking as if the situation was my fault .

"I just thought you'd care Addy,I mean ....forget it."he sighed and slumped his shoulder as if his world was ending.

"You must be joking !Alexis its not me who should care and its not like we're still married so I don't understand why my reaction to your fiancé being pregnant being of some significance ."He was simply infuriating .Where was the ever so confident Alexis?The man I fell in love with .

"What do you really want from me Alexis?"She was furious and he knew that he was just being  silly demanding her attention like some wimp but he still wished she would shout at him for being careless .Its not like he loved Bridget anyway ,he was just lost and now with Addy everything was a lot confusing.

"I just...I want ...can we just ..."he sighed and stared at his son with a longing that even I thought the man had some incurable disease.

''Dada!'' Baby Addy spoke in his baby like voice as he brought his little hands to his father's cheeks which were now transformed into a permanent grin.

"Did he just ?that little pumpkin ,how dare you betray your mother!"I  happily picked him up and we both gushed at our little bundle of joy.

"Well I guess now we know who his favorite is."Alexis pinched baby Addy's cheeks.

"Hell no Mister! You were staring at him without even blinking so he just wanted to make sure you weren't dead."I passed Thomas to him as i went into the kitchen to fix both of them something to eat.

"He still said Daddy, right my boy?"And to that Thomas drooled on his father while muttering "Dada"as if its a new song he just learnt.

A very weird day had turned into a fun one thanks to Thomas.l was proud that my baby could speak.And now to deal with that woman who was trying to ruin the man i loved ,Addy called her private investigator and gave him the details of Bridget and that the man's only mission would be to find out the truth about everything cause as far as rumors go Bridget was barren .Addy would do something since Alexis cared so much about how she reacts to his own folly when it comes to the women he sleeps with.She would save him  since he was busy complicating things with his needy childish behaviors that were just too cute.The man was just different from how he used to be and Addy felt like she never knew him at all .
