"Hey muffin" manik said as he sat down in the car

"Hey" I couldn't help but grin

I know it's stupid but I grin  whenever I see manik, I feel like I am addicted to manik, more than I was previously.

he shoved his bag in the back and kissed my cheek.

He was wearing a black shirt and some jeans and his sleeves were rolled up ahhh, I was so in love with this man

"What you just pulled back there was not acceptable love" he said

"What did I do" I asked

"Well first you saw my teammates changing and two you swore in front of me" he listed out

"They were shirtless"

"And you are only allowed to see me that way, is that clear" he asked

"Nooo"

"Sweetheart, lets not push it" he whispered leaning closer

I could smell his minty breath and that body wash he uses, has he had showered before coming in the car?

"Did you shower" I asked

"I did, but that's not the answer to my question"

"Mhmm yes it's clear"

"And no swearing" he said

"But"

"Nandini baba"

"Okay I won't but I am not apologizing for swearing at your mother"

"I didn't ask you to for that"

"Okay deal, I will not swear" I said

He pecked my nose and started driving

"Can I know where we are going" I asked

"Not yet, you'll find out soon" he said

"Manik why do you always do this"

"Becasue I okay no shut it for the next 20 minutes"

"Rude ass human" I mumbled

"Im sorry, just please be patient with me" he reached out for my hand

"I just wanna know, can I please get a hint" I whined

"Yes you may, but only after you fulfil the deal we made"

"What deal" I asked caressing his arm

"The kiss" he said making me blush

I started chewing on my lips and started looking outside at the view. I heard him chuckle seeing me so quiet and not asking for hints anymore but whatever.

About half and hour later manik pulled up to a house, it was huge and majestic but not familiar

"Mani" I whispered

"Yes jaan" he answered parking the car

"Where are we" I asked

"I will answer those questions in a second" he siad coming out of the car

He opened my door before I got a chance to because I was too busy gawking at the house.

"Thank you" I  mumbled

"Your welcome butterfly" he said grabbing my hand

He walked closer to the house with me and then put in a code on the door causing it to open

"Holly shish" I mumbled as the doors opened

"I know sweetheart" I heard manik's voice as he placed his hand on my back leading me int he house

It was such a beautiful house, huge but so comfortable. It wasn't flashy, it was so elegant and glaouraous.

"I know you are mesmerized but I need you to focus for a quick minute okay" he said kissing my head

I looked at him and nodded drowning in his eyes.

Sure the house was perfect and beautiful but not as beautiful as manik's eyes.

"I need you to trust me for a couple minutes"

"I trust you forever" a beautiful smile broke out on his face

"I am going to put this blindfold on you okay"

"I will close my eyes, we don't need a blindfold" I spoke

"Please butterfly" he pouted at me

I nodded making him smile, he grabbed it out of his pocket and put it on me.

"Ahh" I screamed a little when manik picked me up

"You are such a little child" he whispered kissing my cheek

"You make me angry" I said pouting at him though I couldn't see him

I knew he was smiling

i felt him placing me on a chair, I got comfortable when I felt him slipping away. I felt him opening my blindfold a few seconds later.

I opened my eyes and gasped, I couldn't believe what I saw. my hand went to my mouth as I covered it trying not to scream or cry or both.

the lights were dim and I was on a chair. There was a table with a candle, not just nay candle, a vanilla coffee candle, my favourite. A bouquet of roses sat on the table along with chocolates.

The whole room was filled with beautiful red heart shaped balloons, not just that, there were a few pictures hanging off of balloons.

"Nandini" I heard making me draw my eyes from the beautiful set up to manik who was kneeling on one knee

"Manik what"

"I remember seeing you sitting on the grass with a rose in your hand, you were talking to yourself and it wasn't that you weren't beautiful but the thing that made me walk over to you was how adorably you were happy within yourself. As we became friends, I started letting my guards down and letting you in. when we all moved in together, I genuinely started living my childhood because I knew no matter what I do you will be there. Yes, it should have been my parent's job to protect me but you protected me though you are so tiny you. I still remember the first time I became sick in your presence, you stayed up 3 days in a row taking care of me even though you were only 14. You did my homework along with yours, yet you didn't leave my side. You sat here reading all the material we needed for school all night so you could explain it to me later. You have stuck with me ever since I can remember. I have always called you my life and my little butterfly because you are my life. I had started developing feelings for you but I thought id lose you if I told you about them so I started flirting with every girl I saw. When I started dating you know who, I  tried to take those feelings I had for you and bury them but I couldn't. I made such a huge mistake too but you being the angel you are, you forgave me. Through these years of my life with you, I knew I had to do this soon. I always tell you that I love you but today I am saying it not as a friend. I love you so much nandini, I always have and forever will. Nandini will you please be my girlfriend and future wife?"

i couldn't breath for a second, ma-manik was asking me to be his girlfriend, his girlfriend.

"Nandini"

"Ma-manik" i stammered

"It's okay love, take your time. Breath" he whispered holding me close

I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him closer, his hands rubbing my back gently whispering soothing words in my ear

"Manik" I whispered

"Han meri jaan"

I pulled back and got off the chair, I sat down on the floor and pulled Manik too.

"Nandini it's cold and you will get"

"Shh, I love you so much Manik, I love you so much. I have since I was a child, I just didn't know how to decipher my feelings but gosh I love you. I love you much Manik"

"I love you so much more butterfly" he whispered kissing my head

"Yes I will be your girlfriend, and your wife" I whispered pulling back from him

He had this huge smile on his face that made me smile too.

He pulled a little box out of his pocked and opened it to reveal a beautiful beautiful ring. He grabbed my hand and once I nodded he slid the ring in my right hand's ring finger.

He picked me up sitting me in his lap as he sat down on the chair.

His eyes flickered between my eyes and my lips, I leaned forward and seeing that as a sign he leaned forward too.

He held onto my face and nudged his nose with mine making me giggle

"I love you so so freaking much, I love you Nandini" he whispered

Before I got a chance to reply he placed his lips on mine and my whole world stopped. He didn't rush or make me uncomfortable, my stomach fluttered with butterflies, a shit ton of them

His lips moved when I got comfortable, I tried following his moves and I swear I have never felt so complete and happy.

My mind was clouded with all the happy hormones people talk about when they are in love and god im so glad I get to feel this.

Manik pulled back feeling me breathless, he rested his head against mine. I held onto him tighter catching my breath

"Manik" I whispered

"I love you Nandini, you are all I need" he whispered kissing my forehead

"Me more, I love you so much more"

i cuddled closer to him closing my eyes as I rested my face against his chest. He held me close rubbing my back gently

"Aren't you hungry silly" he asked

"Food, you got us food" I asked

"I did, its chicken Alfredo pasta" he whispered

"Ahh yess lets eat" I said jumping a bit hearing my favourite

Instead of serving in different plates Manik and I grabbed a single plate and ate sitting on the couch in the living room.

"Manik"

He hummed

"Whose house is this" I asked in-between eating

"Ours, I had it custom made for when we are ready to move in"

"What" I asked almost chocking

"Yes, shh just focus on eating, I even have brownies, white chocotale chip brownies in the oven"

i had forgotten all about the house and just focused on food so I can get the the brownies, I am a brownie girl ahahaha.

The rest of the night Manik and I cuddled in the new house and the cutest thing was he had brought brownie, our pup too.. it was finally happening, everything I wanted I got.

"I love you Manik" I whispered in his chest

"I love you more butterfly" he siad pecking my lips
